Someone from the company showed up to my site on time! I received a quote via email the next day. Ultimately I decided to go with a gravel base for my metal building but I would not have any qualms selecting OSO Construction for the work.

Great delivery time and "prices". Just expect roughly half of what you pay for. Its that simple. we figure they shorted us by up to 50% on the base material we had delivered. They had a long list of reasons why we came up almost 4x short, but the reality is unless we have discovered a black hole, there is no way a portable vibratory compactor turned 75yds into less than 35.Edit: Update: Tried to work out it out with them where the discrepancy was and the conversation devolved into them throwing out insults. They start by using non-standard light weights for their yard conversions. (Ex: #2 base industry standard is 2800lb/yd, they sell it as 2650lb/yd) They will agree to sell you a volume of material by the "yard", but then they measure it by weight. And when confronted they will say you are wrong for expecting a given volume of material.At the end of the day their numbers don't add up.

On a Monday afternoon, I contacted OSO Construction for a concrete patio extension and sidewalk extension for my mother's residence in Floresville, TX. Val Pena told me that if I sent him my sketch, he would have a price back to me the next morning. He did. It was a good value. By the following Tuesday (a total of 8 days from original phone call), OSO had clarified their bid, answered my questions, pulled the City permit and completed the work. In fact, the actual work was done in less than a day.The crew showed up and started forming at 0830a, and starting pouring concrete by 1100a. They were wrecking forms by 400p, and gone by 500p. I work in the design and construction industry, and know good work by a good contractor when I see it. These guys are great. Very professional, responsive, honest, and timely. They do what they say they will do when they say they'll do it. I highly recommend.

OSO Construction gets my highest possible review.I can’t overstate the value of a contractor who knows his business. When Val Pena looks at the job, he knows exactly what it will take, and bids accurately. He owns and maintains his own equipment, and all workers were full-time employees (except the specialist who finished my concrete). But any possible extra cost of overhead is easily offset by his efficiency. My demolition project was a 35’L x 17W x 8’D pool, with apron and patio, then fill and compact, build new 12’x32’ concrete patio, and re-sod my yard.Well-planned and organized, throughout. All equipment and materials (fill, concrete, sod etc) were in place when needed. No waiting. No no-shows. No workers sent to other jobs. No equipment delays, no break-downs. No damage, vibration or other issues. The smoothness of my project was in no small part due to Mr. Pena’s own expertise on the equipment.OSO Construction completed my project in 7 work days – including forming and pouring the concrete, and laying and rolling 4 pallets of sod. ***BUYER BEWARE***got shorted on my order. was delivered at half of what i ordered and charged for the full price, so i had to pay for extra trucks. double the amount of trucks, and got charged for them all. i went to resolve the issue in person with "Val"(supposed owner), and got told i was wrong all the way around. i wanted my money back for the 2 extra trucks of 20 yrds+delivery, but there was no admittal, or resolution. i didnt want to leave a review until i spoke to him, but nothing got solved there. now that i am aware of how they operate, i ran it through a couple people here in lavernia and they had the same issue with half orders, being charged full, from them. currently getting all our receipts, dimensions on projects, and photos together.Services: General building construction, Metal building construction
