Vance and his team are simply the best. He was the first person I asked to come quote our fence job and after nearly a dozen others, he was by far and away our #1 choice.This guy is legitimately a good dude who wants to do right by you. Not only did I find that he and I get along SUPER well, I’ve been repeatedly impressed by his willingness to do whatever needs to be done to ensure the job is up to his customer’s satisfaction. His pricing is honest, the work is extremely well executed and the entire process has been painless. We needed a fair amount of fencing replaced, over 200 linear feet, and we decided to upgrade to 4x6 posts for the fence and 6x6 posts for the gates, all using cedar pickets. The entire project got a lot of attention from neighbors who came by to ask questions or check out the work.We asked Vance if he was okay with installing a dog bubble that protrudes from the window for our dogs and he personally came out with his jigsaw and cut a perfect hole. He installed it using stainless hardware and it looks PERFECT! The gates are strong, level and I have full confidence that they’ll last for many, many years (I was VERY particular about this as our previous gates were unusable for years). The entire backyard has been transformed and the peace of mind in knowing that the dogs are unable to weasel their way out of the back when we let them out is indescribable. His main fencer, Cody, did the best beveling job I’ve ever seen on fence running boards and far exceeded the expectations I had even though I knew that was a standard feature of their builds (the bevel assists with water run off so water won’t pool on the bottom and adds aesthetic value).We also had a minor hole in our roof and asked Vance about patching that up. He and his roofing guy had that knocked out within a few hours, we didn’t even realize it had been fixed until I asked him what day they were planning to do it and he jokingly replied “yesterday”. He said my roof is in good condition and not very old, but it really says something that I’m a little lowkey disappointed because I won’t have anything else to utilize his services for again for awhile.Call around and ask for multiple quotes (Vance was also the only guy to actively encourage me to do so when I first told him that he was the only guy I’d called and had come out so far), but just know that when you include these guys in your roster, you’re unlikely to find anyone else who matches up to the level of care and service Vance provides.

Vance, the owner of A Honesty Roofing, also does fences. A few weeks ago he built 114'/ 6.5' tall CCA pressure treated fence with Western Red Cedar pickets for me. The workd was first class, his workers knew what they were doing and Vance was around to make sure the job went well. Would highly recomennd his company if you have a fence to replace. He also replaced some plastic over are patio area while we had him working for us. He had a problem getting the material which was in south Houston area but he kept us informed of what was happening. I tend to be very picky with contractors and he did what he said he was going do.That is all you can ask from a contractor.

Can't say enough about this company. Vance came to my house that I was going to sell and gave me a competitive price to completely re-do the roof. I liked that his guys actually hammer the shingles rather than nail gun them. Everything with the roof went perfectly. The guys contacted me and made sure I knew when they were coming. Finished an 1800 square foot house in a day and a morning. Watched the roof for the next few weeks while we put the house up for sale and not a drop.Now, fast forward a year and a half later, I notice a line of water coming down a vent in my new home. Vance comes out the day I call him. He looks everything over and figures out that the vent has expanded over the last year. He goes up and caulks the vent, comes down, visits with me a little and when I ask him how much I owe, he tells me nothing. I know the guys time is worth a lot, but he left telling me he hopes to see me in 15 years. The guy is still around because he has been around. He tells you like it is and does quality work. I will only use A-honesty roofing for any of my needs...

Vance put a new roof on for us after receiving hail damage. He took out my old skylight and covered it up, as I did not want the skylight anymore. The process was easy and he is very affordable. His crew left my home and pool clean when they were done. My roof looks great and there are NO LEAKS!

Wonderful experience all the way around. Vance spent time actually trying to find the problem in the roof leak (and did!!), explained everything that he was going to do and even threw in a couple of minor fixes for free. He schedule us for a Friday, but actually was able to do the work two days sooner. I am pleased with A Honesty Roofing. After a large storm hit, one of my 15 foot flashings was ripped off. I called A Honesty Roofing at 7:45am and Vance answered and was at the house that day giving me a detailed estimate and explaining things. They replaced a fence which seems fine but left a large amount of dirt in a drainage ditch. Flooding will result leaving my 74 year old husband left to clear the ditch. When asked to remove the dirt all they did was whine.

We have finally found a hard working, honest, friendly, contractor who goes over and beyond to make sure our problems were fixed.These guys fixed a problem from a previous roofer and located a leak in our chimney that had nothing to do with the roof. So we had to get someone else that specializes in that type of work. Our roof was getting old so we needed to replace it we never had any leaks or anything just old. We had A honesty come out and replace out whole roof. Now we have leaks all over our house and they won’t return our calls or come out to look at it?!?UPDATE: Finally able to get a hold of Vance after some social media nudging. After a month of dealing with the worst drywall company in the world(not A Honesty Roofing). The roof repairs are done and the wall and ceiling are fixed. Took longer than expected to get fixed but either way I am just glad it is fixed. Not 100 % happy but happy enough to up one start rating to three.

Vance worked on my roof and fence. He will go the extra mile for his costumers. Answers questions clearly. Actually breaks down his bid. Has a good team. Does quality work. Will crack in a few jokes. I highly recommend him for any roofing or fencing issue. My only complaint is that he doesn't do other work! If your roof or fence has an issue, he will fix it and get the job done right the first time.

Vance is an amazing guy. He was incredibly genuine and cared about stopping my roof leak. Seemed like one of the only roofing people I have talked to who would not screw you over. He drove all the way from League City to downtown Houston to look at my roof/balcony. We determined it was a siding issue versus a roofing issue so there was nothing else he could do. He caulked up some spots for an hour and told me some steps to do if it continues to leak. At the end of it, he did not charge me anything for anything he had done. I would absolutely trust him working on my roof anyday.
