Had a very fast response from Girard on estimate and start of work. All the boards on my 16 x 20 back deck had to be replaced. He used composite material so it will last forever. Stay away. Quality is questionable and company is unresponsive. We've filed a complaint with BBB and the investigation is pending.We had a close to $50k roofing job done by this company and the there has been 3 separate leaks leaks following the job in less than a year! The first two leaks the company was responsive in coming back to fix the repair as it is covered in the 7-year/leak free guarantee labor warranty. After the third leak the Girard (owner) has not returned our calls, text messages, and have been unresponsive.We just want the roof fixed as covered under the 7 year/leak free warranty and Emerald Roofing & Remodeling is not holding up their end of their contract.

All the nails in HardiePlank siding this company replaced and painted at my home have started deteriorating from the inside out. If the pictures upload properly here, you'll see I am left with unsightly black circles ALL OVER my bright white siding. When I reported this development to Girard, the owner, I was met with a total attitude and he tried to get me to agree to just paint over the problem- to which I would not agree because the nails will just continue to deteriorate and come through black again. He finally sent Shawn out to see for himself, who diagnosed the problem as the nails used were faulty and deteriorating under the paint. This was August 2020. Didn't hear another word and nothing was done about it, so I reached out again early December 2020, got an apology and another empty promise. It's now July 2021 and I continue to see Girard recommending himself on the local Facebook page, yet doesn't respond to my messages. I am expecting full replacement of the hardieplank or a full refund so I can have it redone by someone else. There's no way around this without removing the nails- although I know he's trying to get away with just painting over them. Do not use this company, they use cheap/faulty supplies, don't stand behind their work, and when you report a problem Girard will respond angrily or not at all. Horrible experience.

We had issues with some hardie/cement boards over our back patio (more an issue with the original builder's lack of quality work). Needless to say, Girard was able to expedite and complete the repairs same day with quality work and professional service. We will be using Emerald again.Service: Roof repair

On or about July 11, 2022 we made a quite sizable down payment to Girard Gagliardi of Emerald Roofing & Remodeling, LLC for a covered addition to our back patio. The job was estimated to take roughly 3 weeks per Girard. After nearly 3 months of issues - including his inability to retain subcontractors, multiple failed city inspections and with VERY little work completed, Girard quit.Girard Gagliardi/Emerald Roofing & Remodeling, LLC has since refused to refund any of our down payment, despite requests via text message and demand letters sent to his home, place of business and email. The letters were sent certified mail, so we know they were received.I’m short, I would not recommend Emerald Roofing & Remodeling, LLC/Girard Gagliardi for any project, ever.

The owner Girard was very professional, explaining every step in the process and assisting in processing the insurance claim. Upon first contact with Emerald Roofing we were very confident that we made the right choice. Every step of the process was very professional and the owner, Girard is very involved in the process. He is very knowledgeable of Insurance companies and how the process works. He took a lot of worries and stress off of our shoulders. Fantastic to work with. We had roof damage to our rental property and we live out of state. My insurance agent we have down there recommended Mason at Emerald Roofing and glad they did. Mason was very thorough and was easy to work with (even being states away). He worked very well with the insurance adjuster and within a week of my call to him for a look at the roof and him meeting our adjuster my roof was in process of being replaced. Pleasure to work with you all and though I hope I don't have to call again for repairs from another storm - you all will be my first call should I hear there is another one!

Emerald roofing designed and built a patio addition to our home. Considering this project required a large capital investment, naturally I shopped around for quotes (4 in total). While Emerald wasn't initially my first pick, after comparing other quotes, Emerald quickly stood out among all the others. Their prices were fair and management was transparent from the start. I had the pleasure of working closely with Girard and Shawn and they gave timely updates along the way. They let me know well in advance when the contractors were coming out. I'll be the first to admit that I can be overbearing with questions, but they both were extremely patient with me and answered my questions regardless of the time of day or how stupid the question was. There were delays on the project, but they were mostly due to inspections falling through (the city inspector was a nut job). The patio is now complete and I'm extremely happy with it. I'll definitely be using Emerald again for future projects.

Thanks for a great deal and very professionally installed new roof. I got 5 estimates Emerald was the best price and materials used. They also installed a solar attic fan which has made my AC function so much better and still a better price than other roofers without the attic fan included. Thanks Again Girard!!

Girard came out after our heavy storm Friday night to check out a small roof leak into our air vent for us.He was able to fix it pretty quickly and was very helpful and professional! We will definitely be calling Emerald for any future roof repairs.

Girard has provided excellent and professional customer service. His company was chosen to replace our roof as a contingency of the purchase of our home. Although his contract clearly states that the warranty is non-transferable, because we were not involved in the choosing of the roofing company, he's going above and beyond to help us remedy the situation. We will continue using Emerald Roofing and Remodeling for future projects as well.

Highly recommend! When our house flooded due to a toilet valve, they came in to help with the remodel. Replaced sheetrock, door frames, vinyl plank flooring, and baseboards. They re-textured the walls well and repainted! Girard and his team were on time and communicated well during the process. Our house is back to normal and is beautiful again! They also helped with spots on our roof and when it's time for a new roof I will be calling Emerald!

Girard did an excellent job with fast service. I contacted him on a Thursday to see if he could do some minor work on my roof on Monday. But instead he suggested to do the work the next day, Friday, since rain was in the forecast and he didn't want to wait in case there was a chance my roof might be leaking. I would suggest anyone to call Emerald Roofing if you want someone who cares about the customer.

Mine involved re-roofing. Gerald, the owner personally take care every phase of the work starting ripping the old shingles, unitil cleaning and walk through are done for the completion of the work. Monitoring the work often on the days of the works to make sure the guys working on the roof keep the quality of work which is really good. I am completely satisfied and will highly recommend to anybody. I am sure based on my own experience customers will be very satisfied.I thought the pricing is very reasonable and low among the bids I received.Response to my questions/concerns on anything related to the works were given importance and were taken care of by supervisors on the job without any hesitation.The work was scheduled for 2 days but the work was completed half a day early. The work was scheduled right as far as more manpower than required.The whole area was cleaned, all nails picked, debris picked up.While I couldn't go the very top of my two story high roof for visual inspection, the owner brought a drone to show every part of work. I was given the pictures taken from the Drone.The owner Gerald also register the GAF Warranty information.I am completely and fully satisfied and will recommend highly and sure you will be very satisfied.Peter P. I would like to thank Mr. Gerald and Ms. Kellie for their professionalism, honesty, and thoroughness. My mom had a roof leak which ended up needing a whole new roof. Kellie inspected the attic & roof so carefully, and I was amazed at how thorough she was considering it was really hot that day. She explained to me what is needed and didn’t give me any run arounds. Gerald contacted me soon after and walked me step by step on the process. I also mentioned to Gerald that mom had a few rotted sheet rocks caused by water damage and he took care of it. Gerald provided a time and date for the work to began, and his team arrived on time and they literally went straight to work. His team was very polite and cleaned up all the mess-I’m very impressed. Today we had Girard from Emerald Roofing and Remodeling come out very last minute due to an issue with the roof after replacing our water heater. He is a wonderful man! He repaired the roof as well as checked in the attic to make sure there was no leaks or previous leaks we did not know about. If you are looking for a stand up roofing company this is the business you want to call. We have told our realtor about him so she can give him referrals as well as set my parents up with him to look at their pergola tomorrow.
