We used Mr. McNeil and his company Stars Construction to add a lookout deck and convert attic space to a living room and bedroom with an en suite bathroom. We were extremely happy with both results and with Mr. McNeil's work ethic. We had this work done on our second home so we were not on site to see the work progressing and so Mr. McNeil sent us weekly updates with pictures and phone calls. He gave us a completion date and finished before that date. While the work was happening, there was a terrible freeze in Galveston and we had a pipe bust. Mr. McNeil 1. found the leak 2. brought in his plumber to fix the leak 3. Repaired the ceiling around the leak after it was fixed. This went above and beyond what one would expect from a construction company. When the work was complete, Mr. McNeil finished the "blue tape" list quickly and let us know that if we found more issues he would come back to fix them. The completed project is a beautiful space that we are excited to welcome our friends and family to enjoy.
