Do not hire this company. After the hail damage in April 2021 we hire them to repair our roof. When we got our gutters replaced a few months later we found out that the roofers did not install a drip edge which was included in the price we paid. We attempted to contact Berlin and could not get ahold of the owner. The team who partnered with them during the repair returned our calls and came out to I stall 1/2 of the edging but then told us to get the gutter company to do the rest so now we have to pay out of pocket and hope the roofers will reimburse us.

After a recent flood caused by a pipe exploding in my second floor guest bath, I was devastated to see every room in my house virtually destroyed. After dry-out, etc., I needed to find a reliable and contractor who could do all of this work within a reasonable time so that I could get back into my home. I was very scared as I hear many contractor horror stories. I asked a group of homeowners in my subdivision if there were any contractors among us. My insurance company had referred me to one but they were based in San Antonio and that distance made me VERY uncomfortable. After my appeal to neighbors in walks Jay Berlin with a great quote and a great attitude. He made me feel comfortable that he could do this quickly and on budget. I asked for references and he happily provided 3 right away. I called them all and they were all very 100+% satisfied with the work provided by/through Jay, as am I.Jay's team (under his direction) were thorough in completing work, there were a few times I thought something would look better and they took my suggestions. There was a minor incident with one of the painters but as soon as I called attention to it, "it was handled". There have been some lagging small items (finishing touches) that took a little longer to get done but overall Jay was really easy to communicate with and he had no problem discussing what needed to be done and incorporating changes I wanted to make. He made some suggestions on cutting budget in some areas to have what I really wanted in other areas. I have to say, Jay Berlin Roofing "kicked butt" on this project. 7 rooms needed to be re-finished, re-floored, painted, trimmed, doors, carpeting, bathrooms, new vanities and 99% of the job was done in less than 2 weeks. This included his time away from the project working with me to pick out colors. That made me and my dogs having to stay at a hotel a much shorter experience...and that my friends made me completely happy.In the end Jay is not just a good contractor he is willing to go the extra mile for his customers. An example of this is that after the flooding the restoration company threw many things in my Master Bedroom Closet. It was "the" safe place that got no water. I had just moved home and on the second night there I was lying in a temporary bed downstairs and I heard a loud bang, only to find out that the master closet shelves had all let go and all of my clothes and many of the items placed in there by the restoration company, had over weighted the shelf/hanger rack causing it to separate from the wall. My clothes and belongings were everywhere. Jay did not have to take this repair on. It was not in my contract. He didn't ask for extra money. He just fixed it without complaining. I would recommend this company for any house project you have inside or out.
