I can’t recommend Freetail roofing enough. They just put our second roof on our house and they did an amazing job. They are very communicative throughout the whole process. They sent someone out right away to look at the roof and talk with our insurance. The insurance adjuster was late and they waited patiently for them to show up so they could go over everything with them and then again with me. They provided pictures and worked with insurance on replacement costs. They came out to replace the roof and started at about 7am and were done by 4. They worked extremely efficiently and did an amazing and thorough job. I will call them for every roof I ever need. I recommended them to my neighbors down the street and they had a very similar experience. Choose them and you won’t be sorry.

After having worked with Travis and Michael for many years doing occasional fixes on our roof we were finally able to pull the plug and get a new one. From the beginning, Travis had great communication and Michael came out and walked the roof with our adjuster as we had had hail and wind damage. Michael even came back to South Austin a week later to delivered samples so that we could choose the roof tile. We went with the upgrade that has a great warranty and when Brian and his fantastic crew showed up they were efficient and clean. I had some shingles come off my roof and had someone come fix it. Bad idea! As the person who fixed it did a terrible job and charged me $250. I reached out to Freetail Roofing and the owner fixed more than I asked for at material cost! He re-did all the bad work and made sure the shingles would not blow off. I will be using Freetail for a full roof replacement when ready. I cannot recommend this company enough. Good, honest business is not always easy to come by.

Very quick and reliable service. Highly recommend for all roofing needs! A heavy rainstorm in Kyle,TX led to a leak in our living room. Freetail came out the next day and repaired the leak! We will be using them for any future roof needs!

I have used Matt Melchor from freetail roofing twice now for 2 different issues and both times he has exceeded expectations. He was able to come out next day after contacting him and assessed damage even with hail storms just the day before (and I know that’s a busy time for roofing businesses.) He kept me updated during the whole process even sending me before and after pictures while I was at work so I could know the job was getting done right. I feel that Matt is one of the most trustworthy people I have ever met and I will only use Matt for any future repairs needed.

These guys know roofs. I had a multi problem flat roof that had sags where rain water would pool causing leaks and eventual structure damage. I had two roofing contractors refer me to Michael "He's the only roofer in town with the expertise to solve your problem".He and Travis came out the next day and spent an hour inspecting my roof then another hour plus with me explaining the problems, solution & patiently answering all my questions in terms I understood.The next day Travis emailed me 2 itemized proposals, pricing and warranties for my flat roof home and a composition shingle roof for the guest house.The crew was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, accessible and very accommodating.I airb&b the guest house. I found Freetail Roofing during a frantic 4am Google search after our roof started leaking from this recent winter storm. I left a voicemail and received two phone calls a couple hours later from a representative and then the general manager. We had a plan in place for someone to arrive that afternoon to inspect the cause of the leak and provide a temporary solution if possible (since our roof was still icy and rain was in the forecast, a new roof wasn't possible just yet). Mike the MK owner, is a professional and not your usual contractor, he is very responsive.Mike and team proved themselves not just by installing a new roof for us but by fixing another contractors bad job. They even were on call when we were still fixing the previous contractors bad roof job. We were so impressed, we decided to have them do the siding, and they also did a great job. Had Freetail replace patio cover posts on both deck and roof and also replace gutters. Michael was extremely knowledgeable about both and his work crews were positive, showed up on time and cleaned up on a daily basis. They also did some extra work at my request with no charges. Wanted to wait a bit before writing a review. It's been just about 6 months since MKCS finished a multitude of work at our home. We had a new roof, patio cover, and gutters added. They contracted with others for the patio cover and gutters, but everyone was professional and did excellent work. They even replaced our stove's vent cover which had leaked for 7 years despite 3 different contractors having tried to fix it. Since they replaced it we've had no problems. Like with any major work, there were some hiccups/miscommunications but they were minor and I would happily recommend MKCS to anyone in need of roofing services. They know their stuff and they get it done right - the first time. The owner, Michael, is very concerned about customer service and satisfaction and was a pleasure to work with. They do not lowball their estimate for the bid and for us the bid was the final price. No unexpected surprises or unforeseen expenditures. We've not had the best luck with contractors in the past but we were pleasantly surprised by MKCS Construction. Would hire them again should the need arise.

I have been totally satisifed with the quality of the work MK Construction has done and that includes a roof, kitchen renovation, installation of a door with sidelights, as well as a deck. All electrical and plumbing work was exemplary.Mike and his crew were awesome about cleaning up after themselves. The metal roofing project left shards of metal around the yard but every last one was picked up before they left. Mike made himself very accessible and easy to reach by phone, e-mail and text. The crew were polite, knowledgeable and actually a joy to have around.I would highly recommend MK Construction.

We needed a full new roof plus fascia and gutters on 3 sides. We requested proposals from 3 roofing contractors based on positive reviews from various sites. MKCS was the only contractor with a proposal to handle the entire job directly, and also was the only one to propose solutions to several tricky roof problems we have had for many years. Their proposal was very thorough and it was the only one that didn't leave us feeling like we had to research every aspect ourselves to make sure nothing was left out. MKCS was really responsive, and once we selected them to do the work, it was completed quickly and well. We were so happy with the initial work that we added some additional exterior painting that was done in conjunction with the new fascia and gutters. If you value quality workmanship and attention to detail, MKCS is likely the roofing company for you.

I found MKCS on a Google search and they had great reviews so I emailed them through their website. I also emailed other companies that do similar work and MKCS replied to set up a free visit/estimate quickly. They were also the only contractor that responded out of 4 that I contacted. My rep was a gentleman named Kendall and he showed up on time, during the weekday, and during lunch time which was nice. He gave me an estimate on the work I requested (siding repair and gutter replacement) and also talked to me about my roof. The roof is old but I never felt like he pressured me to replace it, just gave me the facts, and a couple quotes to replace it because I asked for it. I ended up only doing the siding and gutters like I planned but will use them in the future once we do replace the roof.The quote and order process was simple and easy. The work was delayed but only due to weather and Kendall kept me updated on the schedule . When the work did start it was done well and quickly. There was only one hiccup due to a last minute change in the contract (we added gutter screens) and they we're out to fix just two days later.I hope they don't mind me saying that they actually did some additional work to the siding and on my exterior chimney trim which had some water damage. There was some leftover material from the work they quoted so they, at no additional charge, made my house look better than what we were hoping for. That material could have gone to waste, but they used it and absorbed the labor cost. What more can you ask for?

Lucky met with the insurance adjuster and made sure that all of the storm damage was noted. Amazing company!!! They worked hard, and quickly finished our roof without any problems...WITH the best clean up I have ever, ever seen from a roofing company!!! Our neighbors even commented on the work ethic, and clean up of MK construction!!!
