AVCO replaced our roof in 2018 and did an excellent job. When the wind would be blowing, we were hearing a strange noise in our den coming from the roof. We called Matthew who was the salesman when our roof was installed yesterday morning. Within about 30 minutes he had Andrew with the warranty division contact us. He and Josh, a project manager met at our house and quickly fixed the problem. Their promptness and professionalism were top notch. We highly recommend AVCO Roofing for all your roofing problems.

Our roof leaked in February of 2018. My wife called AVCO Roofing and Cade Carnette came out to assess the status of our roof. He found bad hail damage, put his own tarp over it, and let us keep the tarp through the rainy season. Cade assisted us through the insurance process and explained clearly what the next steps were. The insurance company agreed that the roof needed to be replaced, so we met with Cade to set a date for the replacement. Cade explained in detail what we could expect to happen on the day of the replacement and gave us several color options for the new shingles along with several examples. On the day of the replacement, AVCO Roofing showed up at about 7:30 am and was done replacing the roof by 3:00 pm. All in all, AVCO Roofing made the process of replacing our roof streamlined and less stressful. We love our new roof and would gladly recommend them.

I called Avco to replace my roof when I had hail damage in 2018 and they did a fabulous job! Then again in 2023 I had a tree fall on my home and destroy part of my roof and had damage to the inside of my home. I called Avco and they handled the entire job. Let me first say it has been very difficult to find companies you can count on to do construction type work in east Texas. On June 16th a storm rolled through causing allot of damage in Upshur County. We had a large tree top lawn dart through our roof causing allot of damage all the way down to the carpet inside the house. We initially contacted a contractor to help with the repairs. As usual, 6 weeks into it we were still sitting here with nothing being done and no confirmation when work would begin. I found another contractor who has been fantastic “Jaggar Construction.” Mitch with Jaggar sent Josh with AVCO roofing out to inspect. Long story short; since our first contact with Josh at AVCO roofing, the process has been great. He is not afraid to get his hands dirty along with his crew. Josh has been fantastic communicating with us and keeping us in the loop every step of the way. AVCO sent out a top notch crew. Not only did they do a great job repairing and replacing our roof but their clean up after the job was even better. They exceeded my expectations. That isn't easy to do. If you need a roofing company for any size job do not hesitate to call AVCO roofing, specifically Josh. It is hard to find a company with integrity, great communication skills, and who takes pride in their work. I would go as far as to say I would put AVCO roofing up against any roofing company in east Texas. My money would be on AVCO. Thank you, guys, for a job well done. Wish we would have found you 6 weeks earlier.

I had Josh Thompson of AVCO come out to assess my roof. Though it was in good shape he noticed an old Directv dish & antenna mounted there that wasn't used anymore and was an eyesore. He offered to remove it at least down to the base mount so no holes would be left in the roof but it would make it look clean from the ground view. I highly recommend Josh if you're in need of any roof inspections.

The best part and first thing head and shoulders above all others is their personnel. When you hire first class people, you can be sure the work, integrity and ethics will be first class as well. Not only was the work performed quick, on schedule, flawlessly and beautifully, the Representative assigned to me, Hunter Hembrough went over and above numerous times. I cannot recommend AVCO over all competitors enough. One competitor lived on my street and attempted to rip off my elderly Mother. I met with AVCO after this incident and was on high alert for anything odd. Hunter IMMEDIATELY had my confidence and also had the job. We had a hail storm come through our town. I got in touch with Drake on Sunday night and he had someone call me from AVCO the next day. The gentlemen showed up ON TIME for the appointment. He was so professional and very informative. He was very knowledgeable of what needs to be repaired and what does not. He did not make up any false damages or claims, he was very honest. We were so thankful we do not have to file an insurance claim on our house. He also said he will keep our information and contact us if another storm comes through to follow up for any other future damages. He said he would stay on top of it. Replacing our roof by Avco was the best decision we could of made. Jacob worked with our insurance and walked us through the entire process. He answered all of our questions and made it so easy to pick out aroof color that matched our brick.The crew worked very fast and cleaned up when they were done. We were extremely happy with the new roof that AVCO in Sulpher Springs installed. We live in Emory approx 26 miles from S.S. and they always showed up on time and ready to work. Our home and property were treated with respect and they cleaned up everything including every nail that fell to the ground. My experience with AVCO Roofing was excellent. I worked entirely with Keith LaRue when we needed to get our roof replaced due to storm damage. He worked with us and our insurance company in order to get the work done for a reasonable out of pocket expense on our end. When his crew showed up to start the work, they were quick, thorough and professional the entire time they were at our house, which was only 2 days. Hopefully we won't have to replace our roof again for quite a while, but if we do, I'll definitely be calling Keith again.

While some people may not look forward to a new roofing project, AVCO knows how to assure a smooth process and how to provide the best customer experience. I was impressed from the very beginning with the responsiveness of AVCO and especially the project management by Eric Hill. Eric was professional, courteous and friendly throughout our entire project. He outlined all the steps AVCO would take, and he ensured they were executed perfectly. He's very knowledgeable about not only roofing, but made dealing with the insurance company an absolute breeze. 5 stars is just not enough for the amazing job this company did. Working with Josh was the best experience. If you need a new roof these people are the one's to contact. There is no way for my husband and I to explain how awesome it was to have Avco Roofing do our roof and gutters. Josh with Avco was such a blessing to work with. He is VERY professional. Josh answered all of our crazy questions and explained the whole process to us. It was amazing just how stress free this was for us. Josh took care of everything from meeting the adjuster, getting paper work to the insurance company, scheduling the crew and the gutter guy. We have done nothing but endorse the back of the check and pick out colors for the roof and gutters. The roofers completed the roof in 1 day. They started at 7 am and completed the whole roof by 3 pm on the same day. The man that did the gutters through Avco did a wonderful job as well. Gutters also were completed in 1 day. We never had to take off work other than to be at the house when our adjuster came out. I almost hate for it to be completed. It has been a great experience to work with such an amazing company. I started my roofing company search with three companies and received three bids. I selected to work with Richard Manross at Avco Roofing. I was not in a hurry to get the job done and I like to gather as much information as possible. Richard was very knowledgeable and was quick to respond to my many inquiries. He brought samples of shingles, gutter color's and information on company brands and pro and cons of each. I was given addresses to view previous projects to help in my selection of roofing color and styles. Richard was there to oversee the install and once the project was completed, he was also available to help with my insurance claim.
