Had a great experience with Longview decks. Adam was great measured and had me a price the same day. Johnny and Brad were the best! Quality of the work was Top Notch!! Used all ground contact lumber yellow wood! Brian finished up with lights. Did a great job! What a shame that an almost wonderful experience turned into a major disappointment. The project began good after I waited extra time for their self-proclaimed “A team” which turned out to be just one guy. But he was good and I was happy with his work. Then…he had a disagreement with Longview Decks so he quit. Then I was stuck with their “B team” apparently. The general attitude of the project shifted from “quality” to “how fast can we finish this deck?” So, did they finish the deck? Sure. Was it a good quality job? Meh. Some of the wood they used started oozing sap in the heat, they broke my cover to an exterior wall socket, they left several holes for screws unfilled in the roof, the removed a couple trim pieces of wood without replacing them so it looks unfinished, they kept the remaining fasteners I bought that were not used (many), they also kept several large pieces of unused wood. I bought several gallons of paint for the project to match my existing structure; after they finished, they left me NO touch-up paint…not even the can I had before. But the really sad point is: everything I just pointed out has been communicated to the company (they even sent management on site to inspect) and never returned my calls or emails. But they asked me for my review SEVERAL times…so here it is. The work itself was fair, but the several peripheral issues, cast a shadow on the whole project.In a word: DISAPPOINTED

Longview Decks built a large wood and metal carport for us. We had specific plans and pictures of what we wanted. They worked diligently to build it to our requests, communicated very well and were efficient. There were some tweaks needed a few months later. They responded to the problem and found a solution. We would definitely use them again.

Overall it was a good experience. The communication was great, and it was done in a timely manner. The only issues I have is with the actual deck. It is very pretty and functional, however, it has already chipped in several areas, there is a spot that’s uneven, and the door that was made with latches is very tiny and defeats the purpose of being able to put things underneath the deck for storage.Services: Deck installation, Patio decks

Adam Brown and his crew at Longview Decks helped me when I needed good quality and professional work done. They came in after another company made a huge mess building my new deck and rails and did a fantastic job turning a disaster into a beautiful deck that I am very proud of. Longview Decks actually had to remove the entire rail (that was only 3-4 weeks old)on about 100 ft of deck and build it all again. I highly recommend Adam and Longview Decks to build a quality deck of any size. I wish I had contacted them from the beginning and saved myself a great deal of stress! You should contact Adam to build your deck. You will be glad you did!

I used Longview Deck to install my pool and build the surrounding deck. I worked closely with Adam from the beginning. We took down some existing deck, installed my pool and built a new deck around the pool. Every interaction was professional, time lines were met, finished product is better than I could have expected. I would highly recommend them for you deck projects and will definitely use them for any future projects.

Just an amazing experience. They came out visited and looked over our backyard. They provided a number of verbal options and when we decided on a direction, it only took a couple days to get a quote with the right materials in mind. They were very cost conscious and talked at length about the product that would provide the best longevity. Very professional and responded great to text as well.

Longview Deck did an excellent job rebuilding our deck that was destroyed by a tree. Longview Deck ReviewWe hired Longview Decks based upon a thorough review of the options in our area as well as online reviews and Better Business Bureau research. They did an outstanding job building a beautiful front porch, back porch and carport on the house we just built (will try to find a way to post pictures of them). The crew they had out here was outstanding (especially Kevin) and in my opinion went above and beyond in taking what was a basic vision and turning it into a beautiful and fantastic reality. The attention to the tiniest of details on the woodwork and trim to suggesting better ways to do something I had requested made it turn out fantabulous. Quality work and skilled artisans are not cheap but Longview Decks was not the most expensive and they weren’t the cheapest which tells me they know what they are doing and price accordingly and fairly based upon labor and material costs. I had a budget to work with and they helped me work within my budget and still created an outstanding product for our home. At the end I would use them again and I recommend them to anyone that asks if I know a company that does quality work and sticks to the plan. Lastly, had them come back and build me a well house that just rocks. Huge fold down door for easy access and removable roof parts to allow access to top of the tanks for repair. They pulled that together based upon a discussion of what I needed. Longview Decks is a great company, family owned small business that does huge jobs with great crews and outstanding final results. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

John and Don were skilled carpenters paying attention to every detail. They kept the job site tidy and kept me informed each step of the way.
