I was looking for a sunroom added on upstairs that looked like it originally came with the house and wasn't an add-on and that is exactly what I got. People coming into the house cannot tell that the room was not an original part of the house. They match all the colors inside and out, even the cedar accent beams are a match to the old ones.At the beginning when I had to go out of town for a family emergency Mitch and Justin were extremely understanding and worked with me so that the work could continue while I was gone.Anything that I had concerns about they continued to work with me on until it was resolved to my satisfaction. I now have the sunroom that I wanted and a great game room for my family and friends to come over and enjoy.

Had a relatively simple, small outdoor kitchen idea that MHC took on. Never thought of hibachi grill but Mitch suggested it and it resonated with me. Justin, Leah, Jeff & rest of the crew were very professional and worked to ensure we were pleased with work at each step. Cost was also very reasonable relative to other proposals we considered. We'll look to enjoy the new outdoor grilling space for years to come.

Contractors hired by MHC had issues:1. Showing up on time if they showed up at all2. Painter tried installing trim- poor job. Had to be redone3. Tiler tried installing trim, had to be redone4. Job initially was planned for 10 days, it went 17 days. 1 job added where they worked a Saturday to make up timing. Again, this goes back to punctuality or lack of.5. Two different painters on job6. Different tilers on job7. Lack of clean up daily. Trash left on lawn for over a week8. They only dusted one day. Has to pay our housekeeper extra to clean up their mess9. Tiles looked good when done10. Painters had to do multiple touch ups11. The owner/ Project Manager- I felt he was over his head or had too many projects going at once12. This company will not get any recommendation from me. I asked for the owner to call to discuss issues, never happened

I cannot express how happy we have been with the quality of work we’ve received from MHC and the level of professionalism and pride taken in the services performed. I’m actually very surprised to see someone leave a 1 star rating, there are always two sides to a story (personal opinion). We’ve worked with MHC on numerous projects over the last 4 years and have never been disappointed. We bought a project home and have had both remodel and new build work done over the years, and all has been top notch and reasonably priced. Most recently, we found out on short notice family was coming to visit and we needed some immediate work done to make a guest bathroom more functional. Not only did MHC fit us in last minute, but later in the evening when we had a water line crack (completely unrelated…old house woes) Mitch himself came out to help get things fixed to make sure we were in working condition for our guests. We will continue to use MHC without hesitation. The next project is a complete kitchen remodel and we’re very excited to work with MHC!

We had a water leak below our master shower and needed some significant repairs made. Fortunately we found MHC during the bid process. Of all the contractors offering a bid they were the only one who offered suggestions, asked questions and provided guidance rather than simply take a few measurements and email me a bid a few days later. This is the sort of service I was seeking. The team led by Mitch and Justin are top notch from start to finish. We were so pleased with the assistance provided on the initial shower demo and repair we ended up remodeling our entire bathroom, changing out flooring throughout the downstairs and having a pony wall built upstairs to replace a banister overlooking the living room. All projects were completed timely and we couldn’t be happier. They never take a dollar for any work up front. Our projects were relatively large and all payments are made in progress of the job. In other words, you are paying for work they already completed. You get invoiced once per week on Wednesday for the work completed since the last invoice. Therefore, you do not have to fear paying for work that is never completed. Also, they will go shop with you at your flooring/tile supplier of choice to answer questions and provide guidance while making your selections. I loved that as it helped us avoid any selections that might complicate projects or not be as high quality as we wanted. These guys are truly custom contractors and not pushing ready made products trying to churn out high volume. We have additional upgrades and additions we plan to do to our home over time and MHC will always be our contractor.Services: Tile work installation, Install flooring, Tile work replacement, Demolition, Paint indoors, Repair water fixtures, Remodeling, Drywall installation, Plumbing fixture installation, Repair flooring

Jason, Jessica, and James (and Justin) all contributed to my new bathroom remodel which I love. Jason and Jessica also completed the backsplash of my kitchen just before they bathroom. The team did a great job. Easy to work with, configured building solutions when confronted with issues. Other qualities were being on time, responsive, easy to work with and very respectful. Thank you guys for working with me all the way in Waller! I appreciate it and when I need more work done on the other bathrooms in the near future, I know who to call :)

The overall experience was going ok throughout the build but as we got to the end of the project they said they had no crew to come finish and I had to find a different person to hang my doors and do my trim so I could move in to my new addition. On top of that once they got the paid for the work they had completed they never came back out to clean up their mess so now 3 month later I still have a huge pile of construction debris behind my house that I have no clue what to do with. Word of warning with this company don’t pay them until they finish the job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very disappointed with how our job to replace our front door was handled. We were initially given a quote and told they would follow up to schedule. They never called back. 1 week later we called again to get them scheduled. We should have know at that point not to use them. Jon finally showed up to do the work and left it half completed. The alarm was disconnected, the lock piece of the door was left off(he said he couldn’t get it to fit) and the inside trim of the door was not even complete.When I arrived home I simply screwed the lock piece on. Not sure why he couldn’t do that. They busted the entire frame of the door to remove it and told us they would replace it. He never showed to replace it. I called the project manager,who was apologetic, but basically said that if he doesn’t know he can’t hold his guys accountable. Not only did we pay for the initial service but we just had to spend another $400 on another door. Will never recommend this company. Very disappointed with their customer service and follow through

I used Handy Man Can for the for time this year to install new electrical outlets on the exterior of my home. The estimate I received was very competitive and the installers were great. They were on time and very professional. I am very pleased with the outcome of the work and will use Handy Man Can again for my future projects. I used My Handyman Can for some professional odd jobs around the house. My roof, some rotten trim outside, baseboards, a broken window, and a hole my husbad cut to get to the waterlines for our fridge. They showed up on time did a great job & we love them. The owner was friendly, she answered my calls anytime I had a question. I don't usually hire people to come do things at my house because I am a worry wort. But, Will definitely call again when my husband needs a break on his honeydew list!

All started off good, got out really fast to give and estimate. But then didn't hear anything for over a week on my estimate. Had to call and ask what happen? Was told someone got hurt and it even put them behind on estimates. I ask why no one called to let me know. That when they said oh you will get it today. But I had to beg? And the kicker is its the highest estimate of the three I did get. Most people didn't even show to give estimates? Sorry guys I also ask them to quote a friend needing work at her house. She still has no quote but she won't beg either. Oh Mitch and Justin why do you lie? You came up with a context for my friend and when questioned why all the scope of work wasn't on the contract she was told not to worry it would be done. No one should sign a contract without seeing the full scope of work to be performed. When I tried to deliver the deposit check the contract still was not ready so no I will not hand over that much money without what is going to happen in writing. Why let your people and yourself lie like this? You preach being honest and up front. But not with us at all...
