We hired Jeremy / D-5 construction to address the issues caused by the winter storm earlier this year:1. Completely replacing the roof in the garage, and2. Remove old bathroom vanity and install a new one.The communication throughout the process was great; I was never left wondering what the next steps were or worry about work being performed that wasn't covered by insurance. It's so refreshing to find a contractor who knows how to communicate both through email and text messages.I am also pleased with the work itself. The garage looks great. Not only did D-5 replace the ceiling, but took the opportunity to fix the wiring and upgrade the outlets and switches in the garage.The process with the vanity replacement was also transparent. We sent D-5 a picture and link of what we wanted, and they bought and installed it. No attempt to upsell or any other shady tactics.Jeremy and his crew were nice enough to fix some items around the house that were not in the original scope of the project. He could have easily passed on small fixes where aren't money-makers, but he took on that work and I definitely appreciate it. D-5 Construction replaced my roof, gutters and screens, as well as stained my arbor. Absolutely loved working with both Jeremy and Hayden. They were there when insurance adjusters showed up, handled all aspects of the insurance process (including filing supplemental claims and staying on top of the adjuster for payment at completion), stopped by during the project to make sure everything was going as expected, and kept me in the loop at all times. My roof and gutters look great. They also did a great job cleaning up. Top quality company. Would recommend them to anyone!

Due to terrible hail storms over the past two years Jeremy has replaced my roof twice! He came to the house the day after both storms the next day! He personally made some quick repairs to prevent any further damage and to protect the interior of the house. His estimates were very accurate and I really liked that they worked with the HOA and the insurance company.They scheduled the work to fit our schedule and it was finished on time.I really liked that Jeremy inspected the work when it was done to make sure it was up to his standards! I found them online and was happy to see a highly rated construction company so close to my home. I called them to get an estimate on repairing my patio. Jeremy came in and gave me an estimate. He was professional and asked to contact him when I was ready to move forward or had any questions. I contacted them after a few days as I was ready to move forward after clarifying a few things. Juan picked up the call and said he will have Jeremy call me back. I waited that day and the next day and did not receive any call back. The day after I left them a text since they had communicated with text before but this time no reply. I waited 2 more days before calling back when Juan picked up the call again and I explained him the situation, so he said he will contact Jeremy, find out what was going on and call me back shortly. He called back and said Jeremy had been busy but it was unprofessional to not call back in a timely manner. Juan said he will come this time and take a look at my patio and was going to come today afternoon. But he did not show up and no call to notify anything. By this time I have tried for over a week and 4 times to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they have acted very unprofessionally and I was expecting to be treated better.Responding to the reply to my review :I did not try and schedule another employee (Juan) instead of Jeremy who initially gave me the estimate. If you read the review you will see I tried for almost a week to reach Jeremy, but whenever I called your business, Juan would pick up and after our discussion, he was surprised that Jeremy had not contacted me even after he delivered my message to him, so it was Juan who offered to come and take a look because according to him it was unprofessional of Jeremy to just ignore me. And when would I attempt to negotiate the bid? I was not even able to reach the employee(Jeremy) that originally quoted me. By the way I was ready to move forward with the full estimate provided to me, and just needed to clarify a few things and was kept hanging at that. And I was in no need for an immediate job. In fact I waited a week before deciding to go with D-5 construction and was ready to wait a few more weeks to get started. Yes I rated another business but not because I was looking for a cheap or immediate job. I have given both one star and five star reviews to businesses. I rate a business based on their ability to provide quality service and communicate properly and you have failed miserably at communication. I understand being busy, but is it so difficult to take out a couple of minutes to answer customer's questions who is going to hire you for a project?

Very professional overall . Attention to detail was excellent . We never felt rushed during mettings and had all questions answered promptly. Help with dealing with our insurance company was greatly appreciated as well. The actual roof, gutter and fence repair were completed in a timely manner and the work was done right the first time. Small details like pressure washing our driveway and checking in daily during construction were greatly appreciated . You get a personal touch and attention that is lacking with many other companies Do not hesitate to use these guys, they are fantastic!

My roof finally gave up and started leaking after 10 years of hail storms and inclement weather. At first, I did not know what to do or who to call. I called my home insurance company and filed a claim and then I started the search for a contractor online. I accessed “Home Advisors” and performed a search for the best roofers in my area and D-5 Construction came up as number one. The next morning Jeremy was the first to call me and offered his services. Having read the reviews about his company I did not think twice about having him come up and inspect my roof. Jeremy was right on time and very professional. He explained to me the whole process and what to expect from my insurance company. Needless to say, I hired him on the spot to do the job. He went out of his way to show up and meet the adjuster in person when the insurance company came and inspected the roof. From then on I did not have to do anything, Jeremy was in touch with the adjuster at all times and got the roof done in one day!! The D-5 crew did an outstanding job on our new roof today. Completely tore off old shingles and replaced any decking that was damaged. Everyone showed up exactly when they said they would and worked hard all day. Crew did an excellent job of installing the roof, from prep work all way to cleanup. A neighbor in our neighborhood Facebook page referred D-5 Construction for a gate repair that we needed, but they did a whole lot more than just repair our gate! My husband called to get (just) a quote to replace our broken privacy fence gate & the owner went to our home to assess and called him back within a couple of hours with a quote to replace the gate, and also mentioned that we had missing shingles & definitely needed to have our roof replaced. My husband explained that we had filed the claim 23.5 months earlier, but the original contractor never completed the work and he had just returned our (large) deposit earlier that month and that we would not have time to have the roof repairs re-estimated to adjust the almost 2 year old prices to current prices & costs. Jeremy, the owner, asked us to give D-5 Construction the chance to replace our roof & although we were doubtful, we agreed. After signing a new contract, D-5 did *ALL* of the necessary calling and legwork that was needed! I cannot say enough positive things about this company & the family that owns/runs it! They literally had 11 days from the day we signed the contract to have our roof & full fence replaced to ensure that we would not lose the insurance's depreciation funds & updated prices that would have cost us almost $10,000 in out of pocket costs

Called D-5 Construction after water started leaking into our house after a bad storm. They were here in just a few hours. Very detailed about what needed to be fixed, and reasonably priced. He was quick to come get it fixed before the next storm hit, so more water would not get in. Jeremy Duerksen did a great job and we will definitely call again whenever they are needed.
