I used Proverbial Contracting, LLC after hurricane IDA. They did a great job! Landon the project manager worked with me tirelessly to decide on a shingle and just the right color. He went out of his way to help me and for that I will always be thankful. Going through a major hurricane is stressful enough. Proverbial Contracting made the stress go away. Landon is always a pleasure to do business with. As the owner and lead inspector of Simple Choice Home Inspections out of Cleburne, Texas I sometimes inspect roofs that are not so great. A few months ago I had the pleasure of inspecting one roof that was built by Proverbial Contracting and I was thoroughly impressed. I was so impressed that I hired him and his team to paint the eaves to my own home today. And once again I stand impressed at the quality of work that Landon and his guys provided. I used Proverbial Contracting for a full replacement of my roof and new fencing. From the first day, I met Chad and Randi through project completion they provided absolutely the best customer service, professionalism and full transparency in all stages to the projects. They explained everything in plain English and very easy to understand from the type of shingles, the appraisal process and next steps. It was such a hassle-free experience as they took care of all the communication written and verbal with respect to HOA regulations, pulling permits from the city and working with Insurance. They were a customer advocate when the insurance and appraisal process missed items. They took care of all the time-consuming tasks and follow-up and I was briefed along the way. I am so impressed with their customer service that I am using Proverbial Contracting for additional contracting needs for home improvement. I give 5 stars and highly recommend Proverbial for roof replacement and general contracting needs.

After Hurricane Laura and Delta, we lost our roof, two bathrooms, two bedrooms and part of the living room. Since were were living in a camper anyway, we decided to build the addition my wife has been wanting. With all the work that needed to be done, I was leery about using an out-of-town contractor but I'm glad I went with Proverbial. Landon Jackson, the Project Manager, was always responsive and professional but more importantly, he was more interested in the quality of their work then he was in getting paid and leaving. He worked side-by-side with insurance adjuster and other sub-contractors. We had damage to our home due to a nasty hailstorm. Roof, screens, fence, grill center, and the list goes on....We contacted Proverbial for an estimate.Their response was fast and they were able to address all of our problems. Chad and Randi are always very helpful in every aspect for the replacement of my house roof. Chad is very quick to respond my question and always try to solve my concerns as soon as possible. In addition to roof work Chad also help arrange his team to help fix my fence, painting interior wall, and sprinkle maintenance work. Called this company at the recomendation of a friend. This company was absolutely an answer to our prayers. They are very prompt, and professional.They go way above and beyond the call of duty. Heater went out on the weekend during an extreme cold front. They were on the scene in no time and made sure my elderly fathers home was repaired promptly. They left several areas that are subpar after promising to fix them and have ghosted me without giving me a receipt or certificate of completion for the insurance company. Proverbial installed a new roof, siding, guttering and did some interior painting in a bathroom that had a small amount of water damage...
