I have used Good News Roofing twice and been very pleased. The first time was when I was remodeling a home and needed a new roof. As luck would have it - it was just before hurricane Harvey’s arrival. We debated whether we should wait or not and I decided to give them to okay to start. Unfortunately, they had completed about 90% before they had to stop due to weather. Craig assured me he had secured everything as well as he could, the same as if it were his own home.As soon as I could get back to the home after the storm, I was quite relieved to discover that the new roof made it through perfectly and there was only some very minor leaking where the old roof was and that was basically due to the inferior way the old roof had been installed. Craig offered to pay for Kilz and painting of the area. There was no damage to the Sheetrock. Since the contractor had not yet begun painting, we told him it was not necessary.Craig and his crew completed the job as soon it was safe to do so and they did a wonderful job. I was given a variety of options and we discussed the pros and cons. He did not try to low-ball me with his cheapest possible price and then try to up-sake me. Nor did I get a high pressure sales pitch to pay for the top of the line. We discussed and reviewed the options so I felt like I made an informed choice that best fit my needs.Having been so pleased with Good News Roofing, it was an easy decision to use them again when I had another property that needed a new roof. They did a great hand nailed instillation on both buildings for a very fair price. They were easy to reach, easy to talk to and did a thorough clean up afterwards.I have no hesitation recommending them and will certainly use them again.
