Don't let Carl's charm fool you.I had my entire roof redone, one part was flat, another part shingle, and my porch metal. I held back 25% payment because they poorly and sloppily installed a termination bar on the flat area (To which I never agreed to have installed. They showed up the day of work and said they couldn't get the parts to install drip edge that we agreed on.), covered holes in TPO with caulk, didn't install flashing over exposed wood, installed TPO tension plate upside down, created a void that will collect water under my bathroom window with the flashing they installed, left jagged cut metal on the porch area.I brought all of this up to them and they came back and hammered on the termination bar plus added more screws, and added a piece of flashing to the jagged cut on my metal porch. I told them the work was still not acceptable and they ghosted me.Fast forward only ~7 months and the shingle area of my roof around a turbine vent leaks through my ceiling fan in the living room during a storm. I called Discount Roofers and Carl came out, admitted that they got in a hurry and did a poor job, but in the same breath said I was 'too needy' and that's why they ghosted me. He demanded that I pay the rest of what they were owed before he would fix the roof that was never installed properly in the first place. I told him he wasn't getting a dime until the roof was right and he just walked away and drove off.With the money I held back from the Discount Roofers job I hired a company out of Tenaha to come fix the issues that Carl wouldn't and they pointed out additional things that were done wrong and will cause issues down the road but I couldn't afford to fix at the time.Based on my experience I would not recommend Discount Roofers to anyone, if you have a competing bid, please take this review into account.

Had an excellent experience with "Discount Roofers." I had an initial concern simply because of the name, which sounded 'cheap.' However, I listened to several people that highly recommended them and I am glad I did. After the gentleman measured the roofline for the measurement and I agreed to the quote, Carl, the owner, came out personally to look at the roof with his crew as they began the process. Workers were all very courteous and professional.Then crew finished tear-off and new roof installation in a day.I was rather impressed. I used to do roofing many years ago and my roof has many, many valleys, lookouts, varying angles and vents to work around.The crew had some final finish up work and cleanup the second day and went above and beyond with the cleanup. Not a single nail or piece of shingle was found after they left. They even cleaned the leaves off my decking (that was certainly not theirs to do), but they went above and beyond. The roof looks great and I consider it money very well spent. Would recommend to anyone.

I was very pleased with my experience with this company, from start to finish.Mr. Singleton came out right away and looked at my roof. He was very informative and thorough. He discussed a few different options and told me the pros and cons of everything, and left the final decision on everything to me, without any pressure. He was available to work on my roof right away, but worked around my schedule easily and patiently. He came to check on things multiple times, and even did a walk around to inspect the job and cleanup after.His crew did a great job. They got it done quickly and cleaned up very well. Out of a complete roof replacement, and tall grass from me needing to mow my yard, there were only a total of 5 nails left in the yard after the initial cleanup, and those 5 were found right away on his final walkthrough. Very few pieces of old roof were overlooked on cleanup and left behind. A little bit of overlook on the ground is to be expected, especially with taller grass. They did a wonderful cleanup job.The roof looks great and I felt comfortable about the whole process the entire time.Services: Roof repair, Roof installation
