Schulte was the only company that took the time to sit down with me to explain their estimate and recommendations. With the knowledge gained from the estimate and explanation, I was able to confidently compare the estimates and see how Schulte had chosen not to "cut corners" in material quality, in roof system components, and in finishing details.Purchasing a new roof - with the hopes that will ideally last for 30-50 years - is a big decision. We had a great experience with Schulte Roofing. Once the work started the only delays were rain. We had a metal roof installed and love it. The crew worked hard and were very polite, always asking how we liked it, etc. I would highly recommend Schulte Roofing. The workmanship, warranty and maintenance agreement are outstanding. Our sales person Jeff Hanks was GREAT. It took the time to explain everything and the different options for the metal roof from type of metal panels to colors, etc. Overall from the office to staff, sale person, to the hard working installers everyone was terrific!

I got bids from 4 different companies. Schulte wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive. But I felt very comfortable with Mark, the specialist that came out. And, the work that the roofers themselves did was spectacular. I was really impressed with how cleanly they took off my old roof. Very little debris on the ground and what did get there they cleaned up thoroughly. I'm very happy with my new roof and given the chance would use them again.

I called Schulte to check my roof after the big winter storm. Another company had approached me and told me that I would need to file a claim for a whole new roof. After having it evaluated by Schulte, it turned out that I only needed to have a few shingles fixed/replaced. Their service was excellent. Starting with the office personnel and the roofing specialist (Mike Schulte) that came to inspect our roof they were very courteous and professional in their duties. Once they inspected our roof and I called the insurance adjuster I was finished. Mike and his staff did the rest. Where to begin! We had a big hailstorm roll through the area and it hit our roof pretty hard. Schulte Roofing gave us a quote, worked with us on the pricing and we decided to proceed with them. Third time using Shulte and first time disappointed. Proposal was to "replace roof" and ended up with extra charge for removing. Shulte did offer 10% discount off additional charge and I instructed them to apply no discount as I felt this was not adequate and finished debating. They did not honor my demand and did what they intended anyway applying the discount. If you do use them make certain every detail, such as "Remove and Install" is included in the proposal. If ever the need arises, other than warranty, I will pursue other companies to perform the work.Service: Roof installation

We recently had Schulte Roofing install a standing seam metal roof on our home in Montgomery Texas. We were in need of a new roof and agonized over going back with composition vs metal shingles or a standing seam roof. We met with four different companies after we narrowed our selection to a standing seam roof and selected Schulte Roofing because of their willingness and patience and reputation. Mike Schulte met with us on multiple occasions both at our home and at their Navasota location. Their willingness to customize the details of the roof, width between the seams, height of the seams, and specific drip edge configuration was something none of the other roofing companies offered as an option. In addition, Schulte furnished us with a list of houses in the area with the specific type of roof, including color, width between the seams and seam height which enabled us to visualize the exact roof we wanted. This sealed the deal for us. They did an excellent job on the install and it looks great. I have complete confidence in their product and commitment should there ever be an issue.

Jeff at Schulte Roofing did a great job on our rental properties. His crew did a great job. Jeff and I were faced with a property manager who did not inform our tenants about replacing the roof. Jeff was courteous and kind to all the upset tenants and made sure he knocked on each door at the end of the project to make sure the tenants were ok. Our flat-roof commercial office building previously had the roof replaced by another roofing company. The previous roofer did such a poor job that we had multiple leaks within a month of the new installation. This continued for over a year and a half, until the previous roofer started to ignore our calls. Our insurance would not cover a new roof. We called Schulte to try and solve the multiple leaks. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I use to work at a storage facility in Plano TX. Mark was our rep and I have never in my career experienced a more unreliable rep. THEY GAVE ME SUCH A HEADACHE WHEN WORKING WITH THEM!!!!As the Manager of the facility I was told the job would take 3 weeks and the contractors would need to utilize ALL of our vacant drive-up storage units to spread out the material and make it easier to finish the job in a timely manner.(remember that...TIMELY MANNER)I constantly had to call Mark and ask where the crew was on days that we had clear skies and the response I received was baffling, "The crew has started a new smaller project and once they are finished they will come back and finish your roof". This was already past the 3 weeks Mark promised.I constantly had to pick up trash from lunch and screws in my lot to ensure my Customers did not get flat tires. I had SEVERAL customers complain about leaking storage units because it would rain in between the 3+ months it took them to finish the roof and my Customers received no face-to-face or phone call apologies from this company nor a check for the damage.EVEN WORSEI keep my facility dumpster locked at all times because I had 1,000+ storage units at my site and the roofing company kept a large dumpster at the back of my property unlocked out of view from the office for over a MONTH. Obviously my Customers took advantage of this when they were moving out and overflowed the dumpster. I had already requested the dumpster be removed prior to this issue and Mark promised it would be taken care of but he was always out of town not overseeing the work being done. It was not removed because the dumpster company refused to remove the bin when it was overflowing. Mark insisted I was responsible for removing the excess trash and when I refused he had his crew load up the excess trash in one of the vacant units they were occupying so I could handle it later.TO TOP IT OFFAfter the crew FINALLY FINISHED 3+ months later when I was told TOPS 3 weeks I found a storage unit with a lock remaining which Mark SWORE was not theirs. In storage we have to wait months to cut the lock especially when unaware of who is occupying said space. LOW AND BEHOLD THE UNIT IS FILLED WITH ROOFING MATERIAL.The entire time they occupied 12+ storage units WITHOUT pay the excuse for not removing the material was "We are waiting for a new buyer to purchase the excess material we did not use."Gee thanks Mark that doesn't help the thousands of dollars lost monthly because you can't get your sh*t together. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!OH! And they ruined $3,500+ of fresh asphalt parking lot with the sky lift and did not pay for the damage. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Shulte Roofing did a very good job getting me the quote, and then completing the installation. The roof was removed and a new OSB board decking was installed prior to installing the shingles. All were done to good installation practices. A septic tank lid which was below ground, was damaged by one of the trucks, but they fixed it quickly and at no cost to me. I would recommend these guys for your roofing needs.

The first time we called Schulte was for a bad turbine. While on the roof, they found that one of our roof vents was about to fly away and so replaced it too. Recently, we had a leak and they could have easily told us it was time to replace the roof, but instead determined it was the other roof vent, damaged by high winds. When it is time to replace the roof, we will definitely call Mark Jarrah to arrange.

This is the third time I have used Schulte Roofing. The last two times was because of critters destroying my roof. Schulte has responded quickly and listened to my concerns. They repaired the roof, and along with trimming trees and an exterminator, I am hopeful my roof will stay intact.
