I had to wait a while for them to come out, but the others I called were the same way - we'd had some bad weather. When they did come out, they gave me a fair estimate, actually much lower than what I thought it would cost, and sent a responsible, respectful man, Joe, I thihk, to do the work. He showed me the problem and what he was going to do to fix it. It included shoring up part of the roof that the builder had not done properly, but he did it for the same price as the estimate and was done in a few hours. Best thing I can say is that I would not hesitate to call Volkert again. Also, the office staff was very friendly and helpful.

— HIGHLY Recommend —Firstly, apologies to Gary and the GREAT people of Volkert Roofing for how late this review is. 2020– amirite? -smh-So, initially contacted Volkert roofing appx one week prior to Thanksgiving. While in my attic to start pulling down Christmas decs, what do I see? Outside. I see outside because there’s a legit hole in my roof. YIKES!! •_•After making several calls and getting delays of SEVERAL hours to TWO WEEKS, I give Volkert a call and Gary gets back to me with a TWO HR arrival estimate. I’m BEYOND thankful. He comes out to assess the immediate patch/fix and I ask that he give the whole thing a good pair of eyes so that we can do everything in one go— up to and including an estimate for a full replacement. He happily obliges and does his thing.He gives me the no frills lowdown regarding the ridge with the hole/patch and that I have sliding and with my shingles (pics from his phone included)— makes sense as my home (1 level, 1260 sqft) was built 1999 and this was the original roof. Gary was straightforward with what we could expect in a patching vs replacement scenario and, given the pricing estimate (due to the simplicity of my roof), I opted for the latter.How glad am I that I did? No words!! Besides getting to pick new colors for the singles to compliment my home’s paint job, the roof is now included in my homeowner’s insurance (they initially denied due to the roof’s age), there’s an additional manufacturer’s warranty and I can sleep soundly knowing the job got done and DONE WELL!!Gary is/was a consummate professional: prompt, GREAT communication, knowledgeable and was SO willing to work with my schedule (work is medical and open 24 hrs a day, so my schedule varies) and even helped arrange digital payment (because I don’t use checks and bank hrs for money orders? Who knows these days?) to get this all done ASAP.And you know what? It WAS. Everything came together and my roof was completed within FIVE days from first contact to billing. The team/work crew even left my home and yard SPOTLESS!!As a millennial and first time homeowner just trying to do the best with what they’ve got, I genuinely can’t say enough about how great Gary and Volkert Roofing were with what could’ve been an overwhelming experience and for that, I thank him and them dearly!! ^_^Services: Roof repair, Roof installation
