I wish I had read these reviews prior to spending almost $9,000 on an enclosure! The contractors would start and then get pulled away for the rest of the day. We were promised the door would be sealed so that rain wouldn’t come in, well guess what? First rain and the enclosed patio was flooded after I installed flooring! The paint job was absolutely ridiculous!! Promised two coats and it barely looks like one was applied. Messaged them on Facebook and was told the job was completed to their satisfaction. I paid in full up front.

I had a screen room put in. I have to say in Texas it is needed. Wow what a difference with Texas mosquito and bugs. My wife and I can enjoy our coffee on the porch now. I had the best crew of guys and the office girls was great. I had questions and they answer all of them. Tim is a stand up guy in my book. He would come visit and make sure I was a happy camper during the build. I can't talk enough about our screen porch. Good job! and thank you!

I was somewhat surprised that the quality of work I received didn’t match some of the previous work I’ve seen via pictures online. This company build our patio and about halfway through the job I noticed quality control issues. After several correction attempts, I made the decision that some of these issues I would have to tackle myself. One such issue is a leaky roof that this company attempted to fix multiple times, the roof still leaks. I’m having another company tear up and repair the roof to prevent water damages and fix any other potential quality issues.Update: As I’m going around the patio correcting some of the quality issues I saw some electrical work that required posting. Picture below is the first of 3 fixtures I’m correcting. At first sight nothing seems to be grounded. Both switches turns on the lights and not split to the fan as required.🧐OMG is the only word I could muster that this electrical work didn’t catch fire. Word of advice for this company, I suggest you don’t let your apprentices or non license individuals to ever touch someone’s wiring again. I remember clearly who did this wiring, it was a young black female, I think she had braids or dreads.UPDATE: I guess I won’t be able to split the fan and lights. They ran a two wire instead of 3 wires. I will be getting an electrician to run the proper wires.

The worst customer service extremely unprofessional with every response about concerns with the project. I hired this company to install railing in the backyard patio. The subcontractor did not measure correctly and piece mealed the handles and not secured properly. It’s unsafe to use and they refuse to fix it. I will need to hire a true professional to fix this shady work.

The absolute worst contractors ever!!! They remodeled my kitchen and rushed the work. They did it their way because for some reason they couldn’t do what I wanted after they had already demoed. I didn’t know they were coming to demo until the morning of when I was told I’d be notified weeks in advance via email. The workers wouldn’t work all day and some days wouldn’t come until after 10AM. They made a mess everywhere and did not clean up behind themselves. Everything was rushed and half done. My cabinets were put in backwards and they put the wrong screws in them. I have long screw coming through my cabinets and they never mounted my dishwasher down. To top it off. The lady in the office, Laverna, told us our loan would be interest free for a year and that was a lie!!! So I signed a contract with the belief I could pay off my loan interest free only to find out it wasn’t true. Mind you I called her multiple times to confirm it and she told me it would be. I will NEVER use these ppl again and I DON’T recommend anyone to use them if you want quality work and honest ppl. Tim the owner, Ed the foreman, and Michael the worker are the only ppl I have something good to say about. They were awesome and worked with me very well!!! I just wish Tim would hire better ppl and have better communication with his customers. By the way Laverna told me the backsplash I wanted was too expensive but I could buy my own and they could install it. How can it be too expensive when I’m paying $15,000.00???!!! She still refuses to admit she lied to us about the financing and had the nerve to be rude because I called her out on it!!! DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

I had a porch added approximately six years ago. The roof leaked immediately. They did repair it, a few month later, same leak appeared. They repaired it again, same leak appeared. The third time it leaked, the repair lasted for a while. Today, when I called complaining about the exact same leak, I was told to hire a roofer. They only guarantee their work for one year even though the problem obviously was never properly corrected.

I had a patio overhead done in my backyard. It took a little time due to getting the permit and materials. When the team showed up, Tim gave a timeline and the team executed. I'm loving the end product, I couldn't be happier. Thank you Tim, and team for making it happen.Service: Home renovations

Very untrustworthy to say the least. Office people Very unprofessional. Will build you a pretty picture of what they will do, however they won't complete what they are supposed to and are constantly lying. We had a deck built which was never completed. Don't waste your money or time. You've been warned. Very shady especially the owner.Service: Install flooring

Community Builders was contracted to build a deck with a ramp to make it easier to get in and out of our RV.Tim came out twice to provide us two different estimates as our priority’s changed. Sales experience was top notch and very professional. This was supposed to be a one day install.Day 1: Two crew members showed up around 1:00pm. They had a small amount of materials in the back of their truck. They started the job and had to leave to get more materials. They were unable to complete their work on Saturday. Crew advised me they would be back “Tomorrow.” to do the railing.Day 2: I now had the opportunity to walk on the deck, the ramp was extremely wobbly. The joists for the ramp was made with stud wood and not pressure treated wood. And the ramp had a very odd sharp angle at the end. To top off this day, no one contacted us and no one showed.Day 3: Their office called because of an email I sent expressing these concerns. They came out shortly after and built the ramp again. This time, they had the same sharp angle and the ramp stopped ~ 1 foot short. No wobble this time. Same thing, they didn’t have enough materials to finish the job so they were going to come back out “tomorrow”.Day 4: I politely asked for the gentleman that has came out the two previous times to NOT come out anymore as the issues were not being resolved. The workmanship severely lacked.Day 5: They came out early in the morning to see what the issues were. Agreed on the issues, and came back later with the materials. The ramp was rebuilt again, this time without issues. The railing was complete. And Tim shows up to express that “they are done and not coming back out” also that “we don’t count the amount of times it takes, just that you are happy.”Day 6: I was able to walk and inspect the deck, the deck is 80% what I expected it to be. I called their office to make sure that this is $2750 worth of work after all said and done. They offered no remedies or apologies.Tim, the way you communicate with your customers after they had a HELL of an experience is not okay. The way you made statements to me and tried to get me to agree that everything was good, was very manipulative. This may work on some people, but this just shows how low you think of your customers.Overall, a terrible experience. I am happy they did right and finished the deck.If you have dogs, make sure you clean up after your job is finished. Tim, and the crew will only grab large objects as part of their clean up.I left all information in this review in order for someone who is looking work to be done, to form their own opinion.

They don't deserve the star I had to give writing this...I had my back porch area screened in. The frame was not build in correctly causing the storm door to lean make the door itself nonfictional. I called well over 30 times in over a 10 month period to have this corrected... Mind you that this was done November of 2020... It's going on November 2021, The door nor the frame is still not repaired. I only have a one year labor warranty...This is crazy...I can't use a brand new door in fear that it will come down any day... You've been warned... From what I'm reading from others, I'm not the first.UPDATE: The day after this post, I had a representative come to my home... shook my hand and insured me that the door will be taken care of within 2-3 weeks. It is now Jan 4 2022... I haven't heard a word... Comments was replied to this post to make it seem if I am the one to blame... They took my money... lied to my face.... If they really wanted to make things right, things would have been done 13 months ago... when I first told them that there was a problem.... And they wonder why I'm upset... Well... time to take it to the next level.... I can't stand dishonesty.Service: Remodeling

We had them come out and enclose our porch last year. I am so disappointed with the whole process. We had a leak where the roof attached to the original roof. They never fixed it. I finally had them put up a gutter, solved the problem of water getting on my material. The room became my sewing room. Solved the problem of water getting on my material but not the leak problem. They were supposed to come back and do a leak test, I am still waiting. We also had a leak on the floor, never got that problem solved. I called Tim and he said they were going to come out last week. NEVER happened. I have called community builders several times to get my problems takes care of, they don't even answer my calls anymore. I am not a happy camper! I want my issues resolved. I would not hire this company again. Very disappointed with them.

I paid cash in full up front in November for new siding on my home along with a bathroom window. Workers showed up without prior notice on Jan 20. They wore my lawn thin in more than one spot by setting up in the grass instead of on pavement. They left nails all over the place for my children to find, even after I asked them to remove them. Pencil marks were left all over the white trim. Paint drippings on the porch. The bathroom window install was a disaster. Iteration #1 resulted in a broken shower tile and a new crack in the wall. The fix resulted in a decent looking window, but broken tile was filled in with foam and covered with caulk instead of being properly fixed. Is smearing caulk into cracked drywall the way to fix that issue? Very unprofessional, but I was willing to be done with them at this point since the job had gone several WEEKS beyond the contracted completion period. If you like sending numerous emails and texts, being ignored, assured you'll be taken care of over and over and then ultimately left to figure out how to fix the inattention to detail that Community Builders practices as a matter of habit, then this is the team for you. If I could have paid the cost, received this mediocre result and not had to deal with the long and frustrating headache, I would say it was worth it. The company leadership is supposed to take on that headache, so for that, this was a not a great value at all.

I would have given them no stars because anyone who wants to have a big project completed should stay far away from this company. We hired Community Builders over another company because they were cheaper - you get what you pay for. Hired them to enclose our rear patio with EZE Breeze windows and install a door. It was suppose to be 2-3 day project turned out to be a 3-month project that started off bad. 1. No quality control - There were window vents shipped to our house that did not meet the specifications outlined in the project. 2. Project did not start on time. 3. Condition of several window vents installed were unacceptable and needed to be replaced by the manufacturer. Tim and Chris (received top customer service award by company) assured us that they would correct everything to our satisfaction but then there was the water leaks after a rain storm as we waited for the replacement window vents. Chris was very understanding, apologetic, asked that I take pictures and he would address the leaks when he returned with the replacement window vents. Chris and his team showed up with the window vents and started caulking areas where we discovered leaks. A blond hair guy with the company showed up and started badgering us about not signing off on the project preventing them from getting paid (we financed project). He became combative with my wife and I calling us “thieves” and accusing us of not intending to pay (unsubstantiated). Tim and this guy kept telling us that we had a warranty and wanted us to use it to complete their incomplete work. Our concern was when/if they came back after getting paid (read someone else’s Google review). Of course, we were offended when called thieves and thought it was a strange thing to say considering we put down $3k of our money. This guy dismissed the crew before they could complete the work. Still have a window vent to replace and areas to caulk.

After contacting 5 contractors, I hired Community Builders to come out and enclose a patio with privacy solar screen. The staff was absolutely amazing to work with. The gentleman that came out were professional, friendly, and courteous. And the price was very fair. The job was completed in one day.

We hired this company and asked for a specific type of deck . I was at work when they started the job. When I returned home they started the deck , and it was nothing like we showed them in our pics. So we had to arrange our deck differently due to them not following the diagram we showed them. I am now dealing with there inferior work with my deck . They used bad wood in the built of my deck ,and now I’m dealing with the issues and have another company now fix the deck , 7 months that the deck was build and we are spend $2.000 to fix it . My steps have come off of the stringers and then ,they did incomplete railing work also. They did not do clean work at all. In my personal opinion I would not ever refer this company to anyone. The owner is most definitely not about customer satisfaction.

We have several projects we want to do on our house. We had several bids on a couple projects to start out from 3 other companies. Community Builders was the lowest so we went with them. Tim came out to discuss all our options and wrote up a nice quote for us. We had them add insulation to our attic, including taping up HVAC conduits. They also installed a replacement window in the front of our house and they caulked all around the house, around all windows and doors and where the walls meet the roof. They cleaned up after themselves nicely. I would highly recommend using them for any remodels or projects like we did. We plan on using them again, soon.

My name is Andrea and I want to tell you why I like working for Community Builders Siding & Windows. It's simple. When I speak to a customer after the job is done folks are happy. That is so rare in construction, know what I mean? When we work on a house we treat it like it's our own. When I make an appointment for our team to visit your home for a free quote, I have the confidence that it will be time well spent and you will enjoy discussing your plans with someone from our team.

Removed existing quarter log siding and replaced with steel siding. Removing the siding was a major task, but they did a good job and removed all debris. The workers kept me informed throughout the process and the business owner visited frequently.
