Contractor Roy Metcalf, among others from different roofing companies, came to my home after the latest storm that sprung a leak and came through our ceiling in our daughter’s bedroom. Several other companies didn’t even honor their appointments we setup. Not only did Roy make his appointment, but he was literally the only one that even sounded genuinely concerned about the issue we had with our roof. And not only that, but his estimate was the most competitive. He kept in touch with me over the course of the next week and kept reassuring us they would get out as soon as they can amidst all the storms we’ve been having. When they came to do the job they were fast and thorough and did a much better job than the company who initially did the roof 10 years ago before we purchased the house. I’m grateful for people like Roy who still know what it means to provide people with truly good service to their homes in these times. I’ll always go back to Firefighter Roofing for anything we need in the future and highly recommend anyone else to do the same.

We had a great experience with Firefighter Roofing. Brent was easy to work with and was not pushy as we evaluated our options for complete roof replacement. The day of the project went really smoothly. I'm thankful Firefighter Roofing worked with the insurance company to work out the payment side of things too. There was a communication lapse between the Firefighter main office and the repair team that delayed the completion of the project for a few days, but things happen, and the job was eventually done. I would recommend this company highly.

After a storm blew through we had damage on our brand new home. The roof, fence, and window were badly damaged. Several roofers and contractors came out and quoted us. Chad Hopkins came out very promptly to quote us. He was very knowledgeable, not pushy, quick at getting us a quote, his crews were readily available, and had very reasonable costs. He came recommended from a friend of ours who had Chad install their roof. Chad very efficiently coordinated the work on the roof, fence and window. The day of installation, Chad was here and available to answer any questions and make sure we were pleased with the work. Great communication, always felt at ease!

I recently had some work done on my roof prior to moving into my new home, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Firefighter Roofing and Brent. We discovered a leak inside the house and called Firefighter Roofing based on our neighbor’s previous use. Jeremy Edgar called back quickly and was out that day to inspect the roof. As we were traveling Jeremy worked directly with the insurance adjuster which was great as it expedited the roof repairs. Jeremy worked seamlessly during the entire project ensuring we were well informed of the expected timeline and completion. Big thanks to the team at Fire Fighter roofing. I worked with Chad Hopkins, sales/project manager and Carter Payne, project foreman. Outstanding team to work with. Answered all of my questions and helped navigate the insurance claims in simple terms. All communication was excellent. Really appreciated the “what to expect” letter a few days prior to the roof install. The day of the install was hectic and fast paced, but at the end of the day, I had a beautiful roof. The team made sure I had a proper installation, and fixed a few items identified as shortcuts by previous contractors. Understandably, there was a huge mess during the day, but in the end, there was no sign of construction debris, at all. They exceeded my expectations.

Our roof is less than 5 years old, but the shingles are the cheapest of cheap -- and many shingles blow off in EVERY single storm! The original roofing company is gone under, but I reached out to Roy Metcalf at Firefighter Roofing and he not only came out to inspect our roof that very SAME day, he also promptly completed the repairs right away! Chad was great to work with, thorough communication… explained exactly what we should expect before, during and after roof install. Materials arrived at 0530. Job foreman was there to check-in materials.Crew started 0730 after thorough consultation with job foreman. All workers were polite, to us and each other.Their cleanup left my yard cleaner than when they began 😁They were finished before noon!Chad was awesome! Brian (job foreman) was great! I give Firefighter roofing my highest recommendation! I called needing a quote to fix a leak in our roof and received service immediately. Roy came out within 10 minutes of our conversation over the phone and diagnosed and fixed the problem with no cost! Roy got to work straight away to give a temporary fix to the leak to get us through the storm rolling in. He has let us know we can call him at anytime if the patching and sealing don’t stave off the leak but so far they have! We have plans to permanently fix the leak with Roy when time allows. I know Roy has our best interest at heart which is a rare feeling with those who have specialized skills.

I had 2 small areas on my roof that needed shingles replaced after high wind tore them off. Called Firefighter's roofing about the "Ridge Caps" on my roof. Another company came out, during the Eclipse, looked @ my roof and said the Ridge Caps were in need of repairing/replacing. They did NOT offer to do the job; they were very low key; did NOT try to pressure us into replacing our current roof, with their product. I contacted several roofing companies, through "Angie", Fire Fighters being the 1st. Others are scheduled to come out tomorrow, to "estimate" the "fix" for our roof. I am going to CANCEL those appointments, as "FF" has already been here, ^& SOLVED our issue.Roy Metcalf (Project manager) came about 4pm, today; he inspected the 44 linear feet of Ridge Caps on our roof. He said, it was in good shape for a 7 year-old roof. He said there WAS about 2 feet of shingles that were loose, but the Ridge Caps were fine.He got some roofing nails out of his truck, some tubes of sealant and proceeded to nail down the offensive tiles, placed sealant all around Ridge Cap. He said to give it a couple of HEAVY wind storms, to see if this solved the problem. He gave us his card, the company card, and said, to call him on his cell IF any problems occurred.The total charge for the inspection & nails & sealant & labor? $)).$00.00!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Roy Metcalf, project manager, was so great! He was very responsive and prompt with his communication. He genuinely cares about the people he helps and the job he does. When we had all the rain in late October and November my roof sprung a leak. Not only did Roy do a thorough inspection of my roof, but he also checked the interior of house and attic to make sure nothing was going unnoticed. He patched the leaking area and followed up not once but twice with me to make sure the patch was holding. I'm so glad he did because one patch did require a second look. He came over so quickly to make the adjustment and that really put me at ease. With the quote that he provided he answered all questions that I asked and game simple explanations that I could understand as I am not a subject matter expert in roofing. He was patient, kind and knowledgeable. Firefighter Roofing and Roy Metcalf will be my first call next time I have a roofing issue, and we all know living in Texas there will be a "next time".

I had a concern that I had a small leak (I heard a drip, but didn't see water coming in). I did a chat before 8am, had a phone call by 11:40, and had Chad out to take a look by 1:30. Even though he was confident that the problem was with the chimney and not the roof from my description, he still went up, checked my whole roof, and took detailed pictures of the problem areas on my chimney. Nothing wrong with my roof, and no charge to come out and check for me. Chad was professional, and gave me a referral for my chimney repair. Will definitely be calling again for all roofing needs.

After a recent storm, we could see damage to a wind turbine on our roof, so we called Firefighter Roofing to see if they could inspect the rest of the roof for any more damage. Roy came out the same day as our call. He let us know what he found and what options we had for repairs. He also repositioned the wind turbine that day to make sure that we would not have a leak from more rain that was forecasted.Roy was great to work with from beginning to end. The repairs were reasonably priced, everyone was friendly, and response times to questions and scheduling were prompt. It was easy to work with them on a date for repairs and all the work was done well. I am not sure what more you could ask for? AMAZING company!! I cannot recommend them enough for all of your roofing needs. Roy came within hours to our house to check out a leak and found the problem, and had a solution and quote very quickly. I can tell he is a very honest and honorable guy. Had a leak start dripping in our laundry room ceiling after the most recent storms. Called the guys at Firefighter Roofing and they made it out same day to check it out. Roy came and thoroughly inspected the attic and roof and found our problem. He explained everything and showed pictures of the problem areas on the roof vents. He patched and sealed everything up so it wouldn’t be a problem in the short term while going over what could be done for a permanent fix. They came back a few days later to perform the permanent solution and did a great job. Roy was who we dealt with on site and was very professional and great to work with.
