Our home was constructed by Camilla homes in 2006. After both floods Harvey and Imelda it became noticeable of the poor craftsmanship by Camilla homes .CJ and the guys replaced all the hardie plank and even repaired a section of rotted roof decking and shingles.They were very patient with us when we changed our minds midstream about paint color. We originally thought we wanted our hardie to be stained, but decided to go bolder, red with cream trim. I believe these guys thought we were either color blind or out of our minds. The paint job came out fabulous and we couldn'tbe happier with our firehouse red house.These guys worked rain or shine, sun up to sun down to attempt to complete the job prior to my husband's hip replacement surgery. They went above and beyond of their call by: 1. Returning my trash cans from the end of the driveway for me. 2. Made an incredible step out of scrap wood to allow my hubby to maneuver in and out of bed after his total hip replacement. 3. Killed multiple wasp nests for me. These guys are amazing. Very personable and happy to help in any way they could. We really enjoyed having them around.I highly recommend them to make your house a home.Service: Exterior painting

I had high hopes when calling this company, but was very disappointed in the end. I had set up an estimate two weeks ahead of time and got a call an hour before they were supposed to be there saying they were tied up. No biggie at all totally understood things come up. I then rescheduled my estimate 2 weeks out again and got a call saying they would be at my house in 45 minutes. Never showed never called and when i reached out to see if they were still coming no response. Very unprofessional.

After making a few calls trying to get some exterior repairs done, I saw a review for CJ’s Construction. The review had me calling him immediately, and a nice surprise with an answer on the first call, by CJ himself. Within that same day we had an appointment and started discussing repairs. Throughout the whole process I was kept updated and given thorough explanation of any additional repairs that he recommended be corrected. As he was finishing up our initial work scope, we already started discussing the next set of updates and repairs. Looking forward to working with CJ’s again! It is hard to find a dependable local person to do "handyman" type services. Googled local services. Called CJ and he came out, looked at the work and provided a quote all within a few days. Everything was easy on my end as CJ provided all of the materials. The work was done professionally and showed his knowledge and abilities in construction and repairs. Everything was done right!Very satisfied with the work! Definitely recommend CJ's construction and repair business. Planning future projects and will be calling him to do the work.

CJ and his team came out and replaced our facia and a couple areas of soffits. They were on time, skilled, and honest. CJ didn’t hesitate to get us on to the schedule in a time that was much needed for me as we needed our facia project completed for other projects to begin a few days later. They did an amazing job refacing and painting kitchen cabinets, installed new countertops and backsplash, new ventihood, removed old flooring and installed ceramic tile in hall, kitchen and laundry room! Installed new exterior door and interior door! It looks amazing! CJ always answered my texts and phone call quickly! Hired this guy to replace water damage in my ceiling. He showed up the day he told me he would, on time. I’ve had problems with contractors before not showing up and not calling to tell me anything. He did a great job hanging the sheet rock and blended it perfectly with surrounding pieces. 10/10 recommend him to all my friends.Services: Drywall installation, Drywall repair
