Worked with Rick for 2 years on repairs from Hurricane Laura. He worked with us to navigate insurance, helped to make the most of our low-balled insurance payout, and moved through the challenges of the pandemic - always with a good sense of humor. It was nice to work with Rick and his Dad, and thankful that we were finally able to complete the project. I’m pleased with the outcome. I can not say enough good things about Rick and his guys. Loved having him and his son's around working on our house. They are a great family and do everything in their power to make the job look great. Everything was top notch. Did everything we ask for and more. Came out better then I ever hoped. Cabinets was the only hold up and that had nothing to do with Rick and his crew. Will use them again. I have read reviews about Rick not answering and not completing work and all I can say is, he always answers and came out any day I needed him to. Have been done with project for months and still hear from him from time to time just checking in on us. Awesome awesome Godly man and family. Thanks for working on my daugher's home after the last hurricane. There's just some things a dad knows he needs help with. This company sent out a crew and finished all the detail work when I couldn't and didn't have time. The paint job looks great. The old carpet was removed and gotten rid of before I was off work. Gold Medal Builders charged $32,000 for a kitchen remodel (no electrical work, appliances, lighting, sink/faucet or flooring included in that price) that was contracted for 4-8 weeks turned into a 5 month plus project that I ended up having to hire someone else to repair/complete. From leaving my refrigerator unplugged for days, not cleaning up at the end of the work day as promised, scratching the sink, damaging the faucet, tearing up the insulation blanket on the dishwasher, bending the leg on the clothes dryer, framing the entry to <32” so no appliances would fit through into the kitchen, could never get the cabinet guy to show up, tracks mounted crooked drawers, multiple shades of stain on the cabinets, counter tops had to be replaced, grinding wheel cuts into finished cabinet face, uneven Sheetrock seams and an even worse patch job, overspray on light fixtures, paid extra for some plumbing upgrades that were not done, left lids off paint buckets, all the way to promises of completing the job and leaving saw dust and Sheetrock dust covering the walls, light fixtures and in all cabinets and drawers. Promises quality work for the price, but definitely does not deliver.

They come out and take pictures of what you want done (not listening to a thing you are say) then they drow up a contract that they don't read AT ALL That is very very vague. They messed up my house more then they fixed it, the owner ALWAYS ALWAYS HAS EXCUSES about why he can't get anyone out to my house; by the way that is his job and that is what I was paying him for. I just want to say if you want you'r house, garage or anythig else done or fixed you will be in for a long long long Waite. He stared my house in June and by November he had still not finished or even attached to, trying to get to do anything was like a nightmare. So no I would never EVERY tell anyone to hire them.
