Just had my dryer vent cleaned by them and I am extremely satisfied. My wife called up a hand full of places and got all sorts of prices and different levels of customer service. She felt that Chimney Star had the right balance of price, knowledge, and customer care. They gave a heads up before heading our way and showed up on time. Throughly inspected everything and proposed a couple of options clearly stating advantages of each. The final decision on the type of cleaning was up to me and he went on to do a great job. My dryer vent was badly clogged which is a huge fired hazard. Now everything is clean and my dryer is working way more efficiently. I will add this maintenance service to my annual list going forward.

Josh and the team at Chimney Star were great! I needed my chimney cleaned and my dryer vent reconnected after a roofer knocked it out of place during install. It was surprisingly hard to find someone that would handle anything other than just cleaning a dryer vent. Luckily, not only did Chimney Star handle it, they did it quickly and better than expected.Josh was so friendly that I casually mentioned I was considering eventually converting my fireplace from wood back to gas (it has previously been converted from gas to wood). He talked me through the whole process for future reference and made such great recommendations that I decided to just go ahead and have him make the swap.I would absolutely use Josh and Chimney Star again!

The cold weather blew in and the inside fireplace and the outside fireplace on the patio needed to be inspected before my parents used them after moving into their new home over a year ago. We were not going to let them go another year without using them. The inside fireplace was in great shape. The outside fireplace had several deficiencies and a code update, and the house is only three years old! Updates and improvements were made including a new burner, new ceramic logs, glowing ambers, and more. It is beautiful. Abraham and Moses were wonderful to work with…professional, respectable, and kind! Would we use them again and recommend them to others? YES!!!!

He arrived within minutes of the starting time of a 2-hour arrival window (which surprised the heck out of me!), was both friendly and professional, cleaned and inspected my neglected chimney. My house was not occupied for a long time before I bought the place, and the chimney and fireplace alike clearly were never serviced before it went on the market, so he had a LOT to deal with, but he was unfazed by the scope of the job. Our dryer hasn't been drying our clothes properly and I noticed a buildup of lint, so I made an appointment with Chimney Star and they came out the next business day. Abraham cleaned out the dryer vent system all the way out through the attic and the exit point of the house. Evidently this vent hasn't been cleaned in 20 years and was super unsafe for us and our pets. The bloackages of lint speak for themselves. My experience working with Chimney Sweep was fantastic. I needed them to clean our dryer vent and they were very easy to schedule with and had open availability. Josh (from Chimney Star) worked on our chimney/fireplace and was both great about explaining everything, delineating which issues were and were not health risks, and taking before & after photos. For 7ish years, we didn't use it and we don't think the previous owner used it either. But now it works great and we're not worried a about our house catching on fire or CO poisoning.
