Last year we closed on some property and we immediately started remodeling. Our goal was to find a contractor that could not only help us add on to our existing structure but also build a metal shop on our property. I called several places in the area asking for a quote and timeframe, but nobody would show up. I finally found McKnight Construction and I asked him if he could build my shop and make our home renovations. He said he could and met with me a couple of days later. After reviewing our drawings and what we wanted to build he came back with an estimate and timeframe when he could complete it. He took our vision and ran with it and the results are fantastic, he can even work with hand drawn plans, if necessary. We love the home renovations and the shop is exactly what I pictured. After being referred to me by a neighbor who was happy with his work, Robby and his company have done three separate projects for me, including 1700 sf shop, 1200 sf shop, and added lean-to's. These were during COVID when pricing was through the roof. He did not gouge me like many were doing during that time. His bid was 29% lower than another local reputable builder. On one building, my colored doors were delayed due to supply chain issues, so he installed white doors temporarily to allow me to begin using the building. On the other project, his concrete subcontractor was afraid our creek crossing would not support the weight of the concrete truck, so rather than leave me to deal with it, he reinforced the crossing for basically his cost. McKnight Construction is a very professional and fair contractor who went above and beyond each time I have used them.

Mr. McKnight designed and built our 900 square foot shop, a 450 square foot lean to, and a 240 sq porch covering.The results are fantastic. Robbie was always patient and always proffesional. He takes great pride in his work and his crew are fast, efficient, and thorough.Mr. Mckight was the first on site to ensure our plans met our needs and the last on site to inspect the work and ensure we are satisfied.We have known Robbie for several years, he has been a builder his entire life and is a good man to work with.Strongly recommend you give him a call for anything you are building.

McKnight Construction recently completed adding a 15' sidewall and an 8' x 3' fence wall to my 30' open porch. The construction crew did the entire job in 2 hours flat. Mr. McKnight visited my active construction project twice. Once when they began and second time when they were almost complete. The construction crew were top notch professionals in their work and cleaned up the whole area when they were done. They had me come out and inspect their work. These are proud workers.
