Had B.E Construction come out to add onto our back patio. They came out and did the estimate and then ghosted us. We would call to get an update on scheduling but get nothing back.Finally they got back on it and we moved forward since Brandon is a friend of a friend.We have 2 gates leading to our backyard and they were told which one to use as the other gate needs to be leveled and doesn’t open. They asked if they could trim the bottom of the gate and we said no. They did it anyway.They didn’t level the concrete they laid with the existing patio and there was about a 3/4” drop off.When they cleaned their mixer, they just dumped it out in the street and left it.Brandon’s dad, who did the work wouldn’t return calls so I got in contact with Brandon. I told him of the issues and he said he will get it resolved.They put a patch of concrete to level out the patio with the existing but now we have 3 different colors of concrete as you can tell it’s a patch.To solve the gate they cut, their solution was to screw a pine board to the bottom of the gate on the inside. This is an 8ft cedar fence, not cheap pine.I contacted Brandon again He said they will replace the pickets… that was over a month ago and we’ve heard nothing.At this point I’ll just call it a loss. I would highly recommend avoiding this company at all cost.

BE Construction has done multiple projects for me and I would definitely use them again. First project involved numerous repairs due to the heavy rains in May 2015 (wettest May in Texas history). This involved some creative solutions due to the poor design of my home. The team was able to put together some good long lasting solutions. They also relocated some HVAC units, adjusted and reinforced 2nd floor beams that had warped, refaced 2 sided corner fireplace, repaired leaking back doors, repaired leaking drainage piping under the slab, among other smaller fixes throughout the house.When I moved into a second house, BE Construction helped install a second attic access door for a large attic area and added a vent up through to the roof from the kitchen to vent cooking smoke/smells out of the house. Easier job, but still done very well and very quickly. They were up front about availability, cost, and timing.

We had Larry who is Brandon's dad do a job for us. We hired him to install a foundation for a home addition. Larry showed up and gave us whole speech about how he could do it for a fixed price and gave us a completion date. He also told us he had a large work force and no job was too small. Fast forward, we believed him, hired him and are now out of thousands of dollars. Larry took the job and was here most days working by himself. He occasionally brought another two guys whose work was always shoddy and Larry had to go behind them fixing it all up. 5 weeks into was was supposed to be a 4 week job, Larry told us he wanted more money or was not finishing the job. He abandoned the project and leaving half of our house uninhabitable. Assuming the apple does not fall far from the tree, I would beware using his son Brandon for any project as well.

Brandon is fair, honest, and works to “make it right”! He handled our entire roof replacement insurance claim and made the whole process super painless for us. This company put on our roof and not even a year later we were having a roof leak. We’ve attempted to call him to come out and fix the problem but we just get the run around. They don’t honor their warranty....Not a trust worthy company.
