Replacing the roof in our house proved to be a pleasant experience thanks to the professionalism of Brandon Howard. From the beginning Mr. Howard was very clear explaining the process, costs, and description of the job. We are in Splendora and when we were hit with hail on March 21st we sustained so much damage in my neighborhood that only a hand full of houses did not require repairs. We contacted Madd Roofing and they were here within an hour to inspect our damage. Fortunately our insurance agreed the roof repairs meant an entire new roof on our 5 year old home. MADD Roofing was at our house at 6:30 am and didn’t leave until the roof was finished at 8:30 pm the same day. They upgraded our shingles and so much more. Not only all that but the project managers and owner were here throughout the day and were inspecting everything as they progressed on the roof. This is an amazing company who is dedicated to making sure you are protected and happy with your results.

Brandon came to our home and provided a detailed presentation that included product samples to be used. We went with a 50 yr. Class 4 Storm Shingle. They took every precaution to protect the exterior of my home, including windows and pool. After the strong storms swept the area in January 2023, our 16 year old roof decided to completely give up the ghost and started leaking like a sieve. Adding to the equation was the fact that we had installed solar panels on the left portion of the roof. There were no leaks detected on that side but there were multiple major leaks around almost all exhaust stacks on the right side of the roof. We had aluminum pans collecting rainwater in the attic and minor drywall damage to the interior ceiling. Needless to say, we were a hot mess for about a month while we dealt with the insurance company. (They denied our claim…shocker, I know)We contacted two roofing companies for estimates. The first was a recommendation from a friend across town and they were less than sympathetic or helpful and the earliest they were able to arrive on site was two weeks. The second was a local company I had seen advertised on YouTube and you can’t miss their trucks and trailers driving around town. They had availability the next day and they sent out a technician to at least “stop the bleeding”.I cannot say enough about Brandon from Madd Roofing. A very down to earth, straight to the point employee who was/is willing to go the extra mile to fix the problem. He inspected the roof and concluded that a majority of the water was seeping through the exhaust stacks both in the attic and potentially the stacks that had no attic access. He was also concerned about a couple of plywood sections that may potentially be rotten from the leaks. Without an agreement or contract signed he purchased these exhaust stack “donut” seals as a temporary solution as we discussed my options. They worked very well, again with no commitment. That is very rare these days IMHO.As I stated earlier, the insurance company denied my claim which was not a complete surprise. Anything from this point would be out of pocket. He stated he could fix the leaks without a new roof but the roof was approaching its end of life and I agreed. The secondary consideration was the solar system on the roof. I figured it would be better to disassemble the system, install a completely new roof and reinstall the system and be done with it. He never tried to sell me on a completely new roof or just the repair. All Brandon provided were options and past experiences which I really appreciated.There were many options and we boiled them down to three. I won’t get into the details but the quotes were very reasonable. I received two additional quotes from other companies and Madd Roofing was on the lower end with the same brands. We opted for the solar barrier with gray shingles and I thought that was it. Come to find out Brandon put a lot of thought into my project and he stated before the work began that he was going to put an extra rain/ice barrier in the solar system footprint for an extra layer of protection. He also stated he was going to install an aluminum rain guards at the top of the solar panels to prevent a majority of the water from running under the panels. Triple redundancy is attention to detail in my book. They also threw in a solar attic fan at no cost which works great.We’ll, the roof is finished and I could not be happier. All of the Madd Roofing employees were wonderful to work with and yes…in my case…the Owner DID come out and inspect the project upon completion. We talked for about 20 minutes and was a real class act.The solar system will be re-installed in about a week and Brandon told me that he wanted to be present when they do their work to make sure they install it properly and not damage the roof. This would be two weeks after they have finished the job and had been paid for their services. That tells me they care about their craft, work and their customers. Congratulations Madd Roofing, you just gained another customer for Madd Air too to service my HVAC.Thank you for reading my entire review. I am so happy with my new roof. Brandon and Heather were great with helping me, with the claiming process with my insurance. Once my insurance approved the claim Heather notified me and and got me on the schedule. The guys showed up on time and were very polite and respectful of my property. The guys worked all day in the heat and got my new roof on and made sure they cleaned up and left my property as it was before they arrived.Brandon and the whole team did a wonderful job. I called Madd Roofing for a leak at a roof jack and about installing a new vent for our range hood. They scheduled us right away. The guys came out, replaced the old jack, installed the new vent, CLEANED UP, and left. Price was well below the service they provided. I'm always hesitate about roofers, we so many fly-by-night companies who will cause a problem and then want you to claim it on insurance.

I liked everything about this company. Excellent I first spoke with Yuri and although she said she just started working she tried to answer all my questions, very nice. I left all my information and was contacted first thing Monday by Brandon. We talked about the process, materials, warranty and cost. Also it was great they offer financing or you can use credit card. I got an estimate over the phone, which was emailed. I did my homework searching for the best price, materials and company and after praying which company to go with there was no question, Madd Roofing was and is the best company to go with. I Called Brandon all the time, questioned everything (at all hours) and Brandon was kind, professional, so patient, answered and explained the information on the roof, he was very respectful and helpful. It couldn't have gone better, Brandon did what he said, came to the house early and got done in one day, WOW!! I definitely recommend using Madd Roofing, OH!, and he even installed a solar attic fan at no cost, what a blessing this whole experience was over the top. A January 2022 tornado damaged my roof in Trailwood (Kingwood Texas). Brandon and Charlie inspected the damage and had the roof replaced within 2 weeks.
