Owner Don S. And his team are fantastic. I’ve had two roofs done by them over the years with the most recent being this year after the hail storms. They treat you very well and not just like a number. They show they care and it’s great to not find nails all around the yard and in pool etc. They do great work and assure they leave the job site well cleaned up. If there’s any issues at all Don takes care of you. My roofer of choice… no question about it. Five stars well earned over the years.

Cole helped me out really well. This is the second year I am working with him (the two major hailstorms in two successive year :(). In both cases I did not have to do a thing other than filing the claim, he did the heavy lifting of getting the roof and other damages repaired quickly and also worked with insurance directly to ensure the claim goes through smoothly. Outstanding service. Best roof we have ever had. Don was amazing through the whole process. We didn’t have to do anything with the insurance company except file the claim. He took care of everything. He even made arrangements with other contractors to do repairs from the hail damage. Don did my mothers roof a few years back and everything went smooth for her. She called him about her gutters and he had someone out the next day. He won’t blow you off after he does the job. I’d highly recommend him to do your roof.

I highly recommend Home Team Roofing. Don helped us work with our insurance company and the shingle manufacturer to cover our hail-damaged roof, and then his team did a first class job of replacing it. This is the second roof they have replaced due to hail damage and I have been very pleased with their work and their helpfulness both times. Right from the beginning when we first met Don and Carla after a huge storm came through our city, I knew that no matter how many roofers stopped by and left us a business card that Home Team Roofing was going to be our Top choice.First, they were very professional, genuine, patient, informative and honest.What I like most was seeing the owner (Don) right out there on the spot after the storm ⛈ (not that he needed to be there), but it spoke volumes.Don & Carla both came out, told me about their roofing company and they went the extra mile by making sure that my insurance company knew everything about the damages the storm caused to my home. Dan Patterson and Don Sorrentino with Home Team Roofing helped me get a new roof after my insurance company initially declined to pay. They met with my insurance reps and argued my case for me. These guys know roofs and can spot damage that is not obvious to the untrained eye. The removal of the old roof and installation of the new roof was completed in one day during normal business hours. It looks great!

Dan Patterson of Home Team Roofing made my roof replacement, due to hail damage, a great experience. Handsome Dan handled everything. I chose the color and watched the workers do their thing. The men were neat and professional, and the yard was spotless when they left. Dan took time to check with me to make sure all was well after another storm. My family and I recently had a wonderful experience with Hometeam roofing! My parents are in their golden years and I constantly worry about them being scammed. Hometeam Roofing alleviated any concern I had with their professionalism from beginning to start. Great communication and project management skills from our project manager, Dan Patterson. Dan met their adjuster to get everything approved and the insurance process could not have gone better than it did. We are extremely happy with this company and would recommend Hometeam Roofing to anyone who may need a new roof due to hail damage.

My mother and I do not know much about roofing other than ours is very steep and it needed to be replaced. We chose to go with Home Team Roofing despite having a lower bid initially. The time Cole Missimo, their project manager, took to explain everything before a contract was signed was impressive. And the value and service presented to us seemed too good to pass up. Thankfully, we were right! With Cole, we had someone walk us through the insurance process and put on a quality roof. As you can imagine, we had so many questions as this was our first time getting the roof replaced. While some were legitimate, I’m pretty sure some were silly. Cole remained patient and kind throughout the entire process. He always took the time to explain things to us, and nothing ever felt rushed. He is very good at what he does, and I highly recommend Cole Missimo and Home Team Roofing to anyone seeking a professional experience and a job well done!

I had a great experience with Home Team Roofing. After going through the hailstorm in March, I needed to find out the damage to my roof. After seeing the great job they did for my neighbor, I contacted them for an estimate.Seth came to my house and explained the whole process. He was very helpful in answering any questions I had. He provided a very reasonable estimate and explained in detail what my out-of-pocket expenses would be. At the end of the job, my out-of-pocket expenses were exactly what I was told. There were no surprises.Seth also worked with my insurance adjusters and really helped simplify the process for me.The work crew did a fantastic job. They were thorough and very professional. As the roof was being replaced, Seth answered all of my questions and concerns in a timely manner.After the roof was replaced, all of the materials were cleaned up. Seth was very meticulous in making sure all of the nails, roofing, and debris were removed from my property.I highly recommend Seth and Home Team Roofing and will definitely use them again for any future roof repairs.

Hometeam Roofing did a wonderful job this season by replacing my roof from the hail damage in the spring. Home team Roofing did a beautiful job replacing our roof this year. Diego was able to select shingles that really gave the look of our home a nice facelift! He was easy to work with, and helped us through the process of making the insurance claim etc. This was totally new to us as we are newer home owners... but Diego made the process very simple, efficient, and painless. The crew that replaced our roof did it all in one day. They were very careful to check our yard for any loose material and nails. We had a dog and small kids, so we were worried about nails... but they did a great job cleaning up! We were blown away with their promptness, and professionalism. I will be recommending them to anyone who inquires about roofing companies! Super happy with our roof and the whole experience with this company!

You need not look any further than Home Team Roofing to find an excellent and professional roofing company. Before getting a hold of Don we had 4 different roofers come out and one after another they began to put me in a state of panic that there was seriously something wrong with the structure of my 1960's roof. From day one Don assured me that the roof was solid as a rock and we hired him right on the spot. Met Charles Byrd 3-4 years ago when I did not need his services. Called him after the bad hail storm and he came out the next day. He took a little more time to walk me and my husband through the insurance and roofing process. He kept our adjuster on point which was a huge relief for someone who is not as versed as he is in this. Within a very few days, I had my claims money, a new roof, new (and better) gutters within one day, and looked like no one had been here except for the great looking roof and gutters! Update: After posting the original review below I was contacted by the owner in late 2017. After some back and forth, he agreed to send a team out to my house to look at the roof. 2 men visited after some weather delays and eventually they came back to do the repairs. I'll only know if the repairs have finally solved the issue when we get a hard enough rain again, but until then I will change the review from 1 star to 4 stars since the owner did make an effort to make good on the roof and make me satisfied, even after several years had passed.My house is in Overland Park, KS and Home Team Roofing did a roof installation in 2011. In terms of the original installation, I didn't have any issues to complain about. They installed a GAF shingle to replace wood shake shingles after a large hail storm impacted the area. This company was one that had been used by several neighbors in the area. After the original installation, we had a rain storm and noticed a small area above our master bathroom was leaking on to the ceiling. I contacted the project manager immediately. Instead of the Project Manager I had worked with coming to my house, they sent out an employee I had never spoken with before to address the leak. This employee did not speak any English, which made it very difficult to explain the situation to and to understand their interpretation of the issue. They attempted to fix the issue by taking a hose on the roof to recreate the leak. This was unsuccessful as I'm assuming the wind had to be blowing the rain in a specific way. Without the ability to pin point the issue, the employee left a separate phone number for us to call if we noticed it again. This was frustrating as it didn't solve the problem. We essentially went from a roof that didn't leak to a roof that did leak, but only replaced it because the original was 11 years old and insurance was going to cover the replacement. Over time, we did not notice the leak in subsequent rains until a few weeks ago. We received a hard rainfall and the leak appeared again in the same area. I have reached out to HomeTeam using the original invoice I was given of which the local number appears to no longer be in service. I then attempted to contact them using the original business card of the Project Manager. This number is no longer in service and it asks that I call what appears to be a Wichita number. I did reach someone a few weeks ago using the Wichita phone number, who said they would have someone call me back. I never received a phone call and so far 2 emails have gone unanswered.I believe I've traced the original company to Home Team Roofing in Dallas, so I'm leaving my feedback here so others don't fall in the same trap I did of using a company that is either not local but just sent teams to Kansas City after the hail storm or refuses to follow up with previous customers or is just bad enough they don't want to even respond to previous customers who have issues. Knowing how much money they received from the insurance company, but yet still left me with a lingering problem, I now know the impacts of not using a reputable company. I should have chosen someone with a local presence. Now I can't even get a phone call returned.

HTR put a roof on about three years ago. First-class work. I've followed up a couple of times over the years - needing proof for insurance - to reinspecting - and they answer the phone, are very responsive and turn-to on the request. Even though I live in Kansas City area, they treat me like I live two blocks from their HQ.

I had a lot of shingles blown off my roof after all the windy days we had . And called Home Team to come checkout damage .Mr. Patterson came out and inspected my roof , replaced the missing shingles and told me all was well AND did not charge me for any of this .When my roof needs replacing, i will definitely use them .
