In September of 2023, the Austin area had a severe hailstorm go through. There was extreme damage to the Condominiums that I was in a Community Manager for. I reached out to several roofers to ensure we could patch and seal existing leaks and get a quote on a full replacement of the roofs for all the units in this community. I have since left the company I was working for, and am not sure if the Condo Association went with Mammoth. But what I can say is this:Mammoths response was near immediate. All patches were in place in a matter of 24 hours. As additional storms rolled in, additional leaks were found and the team at mammoth always responded with a couple of hours to ensure that minimal damage was encountered by owners. Not only that, but their bid for the entire rework of the entire communities roofs, glass, and siding was clearly the most professional and the most thorough report and breakdown I have ever seen. Mammoth is one step ahead of the majority of roofers I have dealt with over the years. You can't go wrong with Mammoth.

I dont have documentation for the record I have to say (allegedly) In essence, this company seeks to designate you as a W-2 employee while expecting you to engage in door knocking without any guaranteed base pay, salary, or provided leads, and with the expectation to meet a monthly quota. If the company does not offer any financial support or assistance such as leads, salary, or base pay, then the classification as an independent contractor is more appropriate, relieving you of the obligation to meet a sales quota.Following my conversation with Scott via Zoom, I adhered to instructions and contacted John, the sales director based in Georgetown or Round Rock. Initially, it was implied that training would be compensated, but later clarification revealed that the role would transition to a commission-based structure post-training. Despite this, John insisted that I would be classified as a W-2 employee.In a polite and professional manner, I inquired about the rationale behind classifying the position as a W-2 employee when no leads are provided, and there is no base pay or salary post-training.Upon seeking clarification regarding lead provision, I discovered that the role predominantly involves door knocking, with no leads supplied. When I expressed concern about this inconsistency between W-2 and W-9 classifications, I was assured that Scott's statements were accurate and that the position is indeed classified as a W-2 employee. Additionally, it was emphasized that there is a monthly quota to fulfill.I am perplexed by the designation as a W-2 employee in light of the absence of provided leads, lack of base pay, and the predominant focus on door knocking. Given these circumstances, it seems more fitting for the position to be classified as a W-9/1099 independent contractor role.John and Scott, I am uncertain if there has been a misunderstanding, but the absence of lead provision alongside the commission-based structure suggests that the classification may be more appropriate for an independent contractor rather than a W-2 employee. Since I do not have documentation I have to say (allegedly) once again. John has a horrible attitude definitely do not recommend working this branch if you are looking to diversify your sales experience. If I got John name wrong please correct me.

The level of knowledge and professionalism I received from Kyle Bergeron is what gave me confidence to utilize Mammoth Roofing for the job. Mammoth installed an entire roof following a hail storm which caused damage to the roof and gutters. James, our Mammoth representative, handled everything (of course he had the Mammoth staff giving background assistance) and the whole project went smoothly. If ever we had any questions, James responded immediately. The materials they used were of the highest quality (I believe better than the original.) Actual installation of the roof and the new gutters was painless and Brad, the project manager, followed up with us to insure we had no additional questions and to do an additional sweep of the property to insure there was no construction debris that was missed in the initial cleanup. By the time our project was finished, we felt like Mammoth Construction was part of our family. Yall check out how good my roof looks! I have to give Nathan a shout out. If you need a new roof I highly recommend you reach out to Nathan.Our roof was damaged during the storm we had a couple weeks ago. I contacted Nathan Pace on the 19th and I had a new roof by the 22nd. Job was completed that same day.When something seems to good to be true it usually is. Well that wasn't the case this time. This truly was the absolute smoothest transaction.Our insurance company is writing us a check that also is made out to both us and our bank. This was a major concern for us since our bank is located out of state. We were worried that it was going to be such a pain to get the checks cashed.So when Nathan told me not to worry that he would take care of it, it truly did take alot of stress of my shoulders. All we have to do is sign the check and his company will deal with hunting down the banks signature. I am not going to lie that was a huge selling point for me.
