Ruddy’s replaced our roof earlier today. They upgraded pretty much everything. They are VERY thorough and attentive to detail. We have a lot of plants and other decorative things around the front and back porches that they got out of harms way and put back when they were done. Ruddy's Roofing has now replaced our roof twice within the past four years, both times due to hail damage. When the insurance adjuster came to review the roof for damage after the second hailstorm, he commented on how well the roof had held up since it was installed. On both replacements, Ruddy's crew was outstanding. They left the driveway and patio cleaner than they were on arrival. On the second replacement, the work actually got done early because we had a chance of bad weather on the originally scheduled date. Ruddy's put a new roof on my fathers house in 2017. Great work and they were kind enough to give some guidance on the rebate process for veterans that was offered at the time. The roof is still holding up well after all the storms the last several years. Now, after some storms in spring of 2023, we reached out to our insurance company about the roof on the garage apartment. Fortunately they contacted Ruddy's. After the 2020 hail storm in Georgetown, we hired Ruddy's Roofing to replace our asphalt shingle roof after seeing the quality of the job they did on our neighbor's house. Ruddy and his son Jake are a family business and clearly care about the quality of their work. They and their crew did a first-rate job on the house and out-buildings. Before the work started, they worked with us to understand the insurance process. They were patient with us as we contracted to have other repairs and painting done on the house prior to starting the roof repairs. Ruddy was very responsive on email and phone to our various queries. The day the shingles were delivered from the supplier, Jake arrived early to coordinate the process. On the day the work was done, Jake was on site the entire day ensuring the job site was kept clean and organized and was able to answer the many questions we had. The crew that Ruddy's works with did a fantastic job, including dealing with the odd-ball construction on our small observatory building. The crew was very professional and detail oriented. After the work was completed, Ruddy and Jake thoroughly cleaned the site and rollered for nails. We were very pleased with both the work completed and how pleasant the process was. We highly recommend Ruddy's roofing.Update 2023 - After another hail storm this year, we once again had Ruddy's replace the shingles on our roof. The insurance adjuster complimented the quality of Ruddy's previous work. This year, once again, they did an awesome job, were very conscientious about covering the landscaping, and left the place spotless after the job was completed. I had an exceptionable experience with Ruddy and his son Jake. I had several different companies take a look at our roof, and both Ruddy and Jake both spent the time and effort to explain everything they were seeing, and provided me with options - not a hard sell. After some debate we did decide to do a whole roof replacement, as opposed to a smaller repair. They were extremely communicative throughout the entire process, and I always knew what the plan was, when they would be there, anything special that I needed to know, etc. Everyone involved was very professional and courteous, and they knocked the job out in a day with results that look great. Ruddy's Roofing replaced our worn-out roof in March 2019. They did a great job at a reasonable price. Just two years later, in April 2021, our area had a major hailstorm. Over the next few months, everyone in the neighborhood replaced their roofs, but I dithered. I was sick at the thought of spending a lot of money to repair or replace our nearly new roof. But I finally called Ruddy after we had a small leak in April 2022. He has experience as a claims adjuster, and worked with our Allstate insurance adjuster to make sure that we got everything covered that we were entitled to. So it ended up costing us very little to replace the entire roof. And, as before, Ruddy's did a great job on our large, complicated roof. They used high quality materials and their roofing crew was very professional and thorough. Ruddy and Jake tarped the yard under the eves and covered the AC compressor. They cleaned up the the stray roof pieces and nails. And they got the whole roof done in one day. Jake is the son, he came to fix my roof in 2019 and explained everything with photos so I could understand without going on a two story roof. He is so respectful and caring. This Kiddo is following in his father's footsteps and I admire that. THE BUCK STOPS HERE! Had a flue pipe leak caused by poor workmanship from original roofer. I called Ruddy late on a Friday and he texted me right away. Heavy rain was expected the following Monday so I wanted to get this fixed quickly. Ruddy came out himself outside business hours to fix the issue. Ruddy and Jake and the crew did a great job on our new roof! As a relatively new home-owner, dealing with a roof felt a bit overwhelming. Ruddy and Jake were really good about explaining things (in fact, I needed them to explain the ridge venting system like three times before my brain finally got it). But they were more than patient and thorough, and, honestly, just great folks to talk to in general.Speaking to the kind of folks they are, Ruddy even advised me to call to update our homeowners insurance, which I didn't even think to do. That five minute call saved me $100 annually.Also, the color of shingle my wife and I picked was coming from a different location than normal and was slightly different from what we had seen in the sample book. So Jake took the time to come out and show us what we'd be getting. We couldn't tell the difference too much, but you can see how much level of detail they put into their work.They were onsite from about 7am to 2:30pm for a roof that's about 2,400 sq ft with garage. They did exceptional work! There were no surprises except for how much better the house looks!We couldn't be more happy with the roof and the service that Ruddy's provided! I found out I needed a new roof when I changed Homeowner's Insurance companies, and my agent highly recommended Ruddy's Roofing, saying he was honest and dependable. I called them and Ruddy and his son came out the next day and gave me a thorough explanation about what was needed and what it would cost. Ruddy’s Roofing replaced our entire roof in March 2019. My wife and I were very happy with the way the whole project went, and are pleased with our new roof. Working directly with the owner of the company is rare these days, but it sure did make for better communication and scheduling throughout the process.Ruddy and his son Jake were very thorough in examining our large shingle roof, which is complex and has several different slopes, and Ruddy determined exactly what was required to make the roof water-tight. His bid was very reasonable, and he didn’t push any unnecessary options. We didn’t pay him until the job was finished, and he didn’t add any extra charges to the original price.A large crew showed up early in the morning on the appointed day. They worked fast but did a first-class job. My hat’s off to them for their professional work. The installation quality is easy to see when we look at our new roof.Ruddy and/or Jake were there for the whole job, supervising and keeping things cleaned up. If you’ve ever had a roof replaced, you know how much of a mess it can make. Ruddy’s worked hard to minimize the mess. Before the work started, they laid down tarps around the perimeter of our house and protected the AC compressor from falling debris. During the job, they picked up loose pieces of shingles that had missed the tarps and ran magnets around the yard to pick up loose nails.To sum up: Ruddy’s Roofing is easy to work with, reasonable in cost, and does great work. We recommend them highly.

We have had two great experiences with Ruddy's Roofing, both to repair damage caused by other local roofers. Our roof was poorly patched in 2018 which caused extensive damage inside and outside our home. We called Ruddy to diagnose the problems. He came out two days after my initial call, told me exactly what was wrong with my roof, showed me pictures of the shoddy work done and explained why it had failed. Ruddy also volunteered that half my roof was still in good condition so wouldn't need any attention. I was amazed! His crew arrived on time after letting me know what to expect on roofing day. Ruddy was on the roof with his team photographing the damage as it was revealed so I could better understand why I was having to replace new roofing. A roof (and den) that leaked like a sieve have been bone dry ever since. Ruddy's team finished on time and cleaned up perfectly.In 2020, after having our chimney cleaned and recapped, we noticed a new leak under the carpet in our living room. After checking the sub floor, we called Ruddy again for a diagnosis. The bad news was that the roof of an addition had covered the poorly made flashing around our chimney. The problem was hidden to most people. Ruddy was able to determine what was wrong and solve the problem. His chimney expert came out to verify the scope of work and tell us exactly what to expect. Again, Ruddy was there on chimney-repair day to photograph the original problem and the repair before the roofing was relaid. He even showed me a short video of his team creating a custom fit flashing on the spot.I only wish Ruddy and his well qualified team did other work. I would hire Ruddy's carpenters, electricians and plumbers, too if I could! You will find Ruddy to be honest, knowledgeable and easy to work with. After researching different roofing contractors, I chose Ruddy's because they had a great number of 5-star recommendations on many different web sites, and I was VERY pleased with the entire experience. Ruddy and his son Jake came to my house and told me what they were going to do and exactly how they were going to do it. I have a large roof, but his crew was large and knocked it out in one day, and either Ruddy and/or Jake were on site the entire time. Frank and his son Jake are a blessing. I filed a claim last summer after being hit hard with hail damage on my roof. Because of COVID, my insurance provider sent out a third party inspector who was inexperienced and did not capture the damage well enough for the adjuster to approve my claim; it was denied. Then I called Ruddy's Roofing. Frank came out, inspected my roof and showed me all the damage just within a couple of square feet. He recommended I call my adjuster and request another inspection. Frank was helpful in that he met with the inspector and made sure all the damage was captured appropriately the second time around. My claim was instantly approved after that. Frank even reached out to my adjuster and reviewed the damage report and estimates to insure my claim was approved to cover a full roof replacement and code upgrades. He saved me thousands of dollars. On the day of the work, his crew showed up on time, were courteous and professional. They laid out tarps around the house and constantly cleaned up after themselves. I was impressed at how clean my yard was after they completed the work and how quickly they completed the job. They had a team of 7 on the roof and knocked out an entire roof replacement from 7 AM to 1:30 PM, including their lunch break. Jake was onsite all day to answer any questions I had and to monitor the progress of the job. Frank showed up as well and made sure I was satisfied with the final result. My roof looks great. Ruddy’s Roofing just completed a chimney removal and patched up the resulting hole in our roof. If I had to sum up the entire experience in one word, it would have to be “Wow”! From beginning to end, this was one of the best and most pleasant experiences we’ve had throughout our remodel. We primarily dealt with Jake, who is the owner’s son. Jake is incredibly courteous and responded to all our inquiries and requests in a quick fashion. We initially obtained three different quotes, however, the deciding factor for choosing Ruddy’s Roofing over the others was their impeccable customer service and responsiveness (aside from their raving online reviews and competitive pricing). They scheduled us quickly, showed up on time, completed the project swiftly and left our property clean without any evidence that work had been done. How on earth they were able to match the 10+ year old shingles on our roof is beyond me. You can’t even tell we had a pre-existing chimney structure. Jake and his crew chief also went above and beyond by removing all of the chimney structure inside our attic, which saved my husband and me a lot of work! We recently were in need of some minor roof repair and in researching contractors were told that there would be a $500 minimum just to get on the roof. We were fortunate to hear about Ruddy’s Roofing and called Ruddy to schedule an appointment for a free estimate. Great company! Jake had previously helped me out with a minor repair last year as well as an inspection after this year's ice storm. On both occasions, he struck me as someone running a straight business so I called back after my roof was totaled from a hail storm. He, and his father (Frank/Ruddy), were both helpful in explaining the process with the insurance claim since I had never been through it. The crew that did the work was professional and efficient. Other than the new roof, my property showed no signs they had been there.
