5 Star HVAC was very responsive, efficient and priced well. I was working with a very tight deadline when I requested quotes for the replacement of the HVAC system through Yelp. They were the first ones to respond. They worked with my tight schedule and came out to give me with a quote within 30 minutes of my initial call with them. I was provided with low, medium and higher priced options. They were able to assemble their team and get the HVAC installed the same day. They kept me updated throughout the entire process. The final price was not one penny more that what they said it would be. The most important part is that my tenant is happy with the final result. I love that they offer a 10 year part and labor warranty. I highly recommend them.

Highly responsible and very professional. I had an issue with my nest smart thermostat that required a c-wire being installed. They quickly assessed the issue and resolved the problem same day. The technician Pedro was honest and said I needed parts as in two capacitors and a starter but I was hoping to get out with the $55 special air tune up and ended up over $800 but again he was being honest on my older unit and no pressure. Glad I had funds to keep unit running. Sometimes you need to pay more than expected to save more. Said unit could go out in heat of summer without the recommended parts and in Summer would costs more as system would be not working at that time. So do as necessary and in the long run you be happy. Also gave a $2300 dollar lower bid on a new system over a leading competitor. Good service with honesty.

New unit installed last year. Installers were prompt and professional and price was very competitive. Experienced a minor issue this year and the response time and service were great. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to others.

Pedro and his team did a fantastic job on replacing my two HVAC systems. Both units were on the roof of a two-story condo complex. He got the crane and all the team on it and they did a great job. The price was right too. He offered me 3 price points, which was useful - most other quotes were not upfront like this and only offered a single price-point quote. Pedro is super nice, professional, and he listens to what you need. The team showed up on time, did a great install pretty quickly. I am now very happy with my AC, and will continue to use 5 Star for maintenance, and any other issues I have!

5 Star HVAC did an amazing job installing our new HVAC system! We had problems with our old unit and Pedro gave us several options for repair or replacement. They were able to come install the new system the very next day! Totally worth the money! I’ve never had contractors do such good work. They’re the best and I highly recommend them to anyone.

I sent in a message asking for my AC to get serviced at about 7pm and had a response a few minutes later saying that a technician could be at my house first thing in the morning. That was really great because the temperature had already been warming up quite a bit during the day, and I was concerned about leaving my three dogs at home with no AC while I was at work.Having an AC company that can respond so quickly when you are dealing with Texas heat is an absolute must. Pedro, the tech who came out, was on time, very polite, and showed me the problem without trying to upsell me on anything. He also cleaned out part of my AC so it would work better completely complimentary.I will definitely be calling these guys again next time my AC needs to be serviced.

They were great, my AC went out and they came out fast and had it working again in less than hour. Staff was great and told me about the yearly service program, it’s a good deal so I got it and they took the repair cost off from what the did, and it came out cheaper. I recommend 5 Star and I will be using them again.

I approved the price for a new Rheem heat pump and a new Air Handler. The next day, they came by and completed installations with new bigger copper pipe for better cool air transfer. They also relocated heat pump to new location for better access and service later. Very quick service and professional.

My AC went out over the weekend and with the temps being around 105F I needed someone to come replace it as soon as possible. These guys were able to come out first thing Monday and got it taken care of for me. I was very pleased with their service and the unit they installed is working great. I wasnt home at the time they did the work and it was nice that they were able to contact me by text to let me know the job was done, and I called them up and made the payment. Pedro and his team came out within a few hours of my request. I had another company evaluate my system before scheduling with 5star and was told I needed to replace my 4 yr old unit, and did nothing to help. 5star on the other hand was able to get me up and running in less then 30 mins after visiting my property. Do yourself a favor. If you need ac help make sure 5star is your first call. I signed up for their service plan as I know I can trust their team.

I woke up Monday morning during our cold snap to find my thermostat was at 60*. I had replaced the unit when I purchased this home 9/17. Unfortunately, the referral I had received from the realtor did not work out to well. I often wondered why my one room was always so warm. The previous HVAC left no room for return air. I was shocked when I called and I had an appointment that same morning. Took a day to look for the part, and they were very honest that even replacing the part it would more than likely have the same issue next winter. I knew they were being honest, not happy to be replacing a unit under 7 years of use, and right after Christmas. They fixed my system so I would not go below 60 until Saturday when they could replace the unit. I work from home, they even worked around my schedule. The cost was more than fair, the work was excellent, and I forgot what it felt like to have air circulating. Going forward, the only company that will work on my unit heat and air!! You will not regret using them.

I don’t know what to say. On March 16 Mr.Pedro and his crew came and installed my new AC unit. Mr.Pedro is very nice and friendly.My English isn’t fluent enough to speak or write but when I spoke to he and he listen and when I text him and he responded. He and his crew were very friendly. His crew were working hard and it took two to three hours to installed the AC unit. Keep up with great work.

Our downstairs HVAC was not working in the midst of a hot summer and we were in desperate need of cooling off. We spoke with several companies and 5 Star HVAC was the easiest to schedule an appointment time with and work around our busy schedules. 5 Star HVAC gave us a time window when a technician would arrive and once they had a better time estimate within that time window, texted us. The technician quickly diagnosed our problem and explained the issue in thorough detail. They told us about our options, were patient and answered all of my questions to help me understand the pros and cons of each, and had great communication every step of the way. Recently, we had a follow up visit to inspect our HVAC and they helped us identify an issue with our upstairs thermostat sensor for our heating—just in time for winter.

They basically just sent a guy come and charge me a $110 trip fee. The guy said my AC unit is old and should replace an outside unit and left. He told me that the company will send me a quote later. One day after I still not getting any quote or solutions. Now they texting me my job has been completed and asked me to give them a five star review! What a joke. I have to call another company come, and identified the issue, giving me a quote and finished fixing my AC problem within two hours! I would highly not recommended this company, that’s too ridiculous.

My heater stopped working while it was in the teens to twenties outside and on a Sunday. Five Star was quick to respond, and Jose was great to work with in coordinating the replacement the next day. The technicians were friendly and thoroughly cleaned up when the job was done. My invoice actually ended up being a little less than quoted - icing on the cake.

My HVAC unit unexpectedly went out during 17 degree weather 2 days ago. Troy and team came out the same day. I asked them to install a new unit. Bc I knew mine was old as dirt. He went over a few options with me and even showed me how I could make buying a new unit more affordable. He told me what I needed and what I didn't need. They had it installed the very next morning. I had one issue with the installation and they came right back out and fixed the issue. Troy and David are very nice and prompt. I can tell they care about customer service. 💖 I’d call them again.
