These guys are top notch!!! In all our years of dealing with various contractors, I was expecting yet another terrible experience (especially with huge price tag for a new roof). My good friend recommended John Bacon after we had a tornado damaged our house. Initially we had problems with the insurance adjuster. John went the extra miles working with the adjuster and got our house put together better than before. Recently, we had hail damage to the roof. John came through again and had the insurance claimed and roof repaired in less than two weeks when most of the people in the area were still waiting for their insurance adjuster to show up! John does good professional work and friendly service. His is like a good friend. He offered good advices as we move along the insurance claim and repair process making it much less stressful. This is the second time we hired Bacon Roofing to replace our roof and we have been happy both times they did work for us. John Bacon evaluated the damage to our roof and later met with the insurance adjustor while the adjustor evaluated our damage. Bacon Roofing replaced our roof and gutters, replaced a vent that was improperly installed by our builder and added two more vents to our roof. Never in my life did I think a roof on my home could look sexy. Seriously, I drove up to my house and all I could think was that roof looks great and I didn't even have to pick out colors or style. I don't think there could be a more pleasant experience of getting a roof replaced. John Bacon is very kind and professional. He has a lot of integrity and cares about his customers. When I first contacted him about our roof leak, he came out within the hour and repaired it. While on the roof, he could see that our roof had quite a bit of hail damage and needed to be replaced. Our roof was fairly old, so I was apprehensive about the whole insurance claim process and whether we would be able to get total coverage. John was patient with my many questions, took extra time to explain everything, and did an expert job working with the insurance adjuster to get us all the coverage we needed, including the replacement of our damaged decking. His crew was also very hard working and professional. When the work was done, they did an excellent job of cleaning up our yard. There was no evidence of all the construction that had just gone on for two days! When it was all said and done, we had a beautiful new roof and I feel like we also have a new friend. John Bacon did an amazing remodel on my master bathroom. They enlarged the shower by 50% and the tile work is gorgeous. And the price, using the highest quality tile, fixtures, and glass, was cheaper than those "one day" pre-fabricated shower installs you see on TV all the time.John's crew also painted the outside of my house. Done in two days and it looks fantastic!John stays involved on every project from start to finish. Best customer service ever.

We had some siding damage during the recent storms. I chose Bacon based on the reviews here, and was not disappointed. John came out on a Thursday afternoon, inspected the damage (and our roof too), gave a reasonable quote, put up a water barrier, and said he'd get us on the schedule 'hopefully by Saturday'. Well, on Friday afternoon (the *next* day), it was done! His crew were very professional and personable, and did a great job. And they left my roof and driveway cleaner than when they got there! I have known John Bacon owner of Bacon Roofing for several years and never needed his services until about a year and a half ago.Our house was hit by strong hail storm and I needed a new roof. I did not even hesitate to think of anyone else but John Bacon and his company to put my roof on my home.Why? Because knows his stuff and he is trustworthy!Example:Several years prior to this incident there was a small light hail storm in my neighborhood all my neighbors were scrambling to get their houses roofed but to me it didn’t seem like there was that much damage in the neighborhood. I called John because I trust his expertise and He came out and did his assessment listened to my questions about my roof. Then He looked the roof from top to bottom since it was older roof and he said you don’t need a roof right now.He was spot on, I did not need a roof and he was not greedy trying to do quick roof repair when it wasn’t necessary. That said a lot to me about the fact that he knows his stuff.So, now backed to John’s great service on my home’s roof when it did need repair after the big storm. His team repaired and fixed it properly. The job was done professionally!! He worked with the insurance adjuster and got a proper estimate for the job. John made sure the roof was done right and any issues that he saw from the home builder, he had his crew correct and fixed properly. I had the best experience with John Bacon and his staff! John clearly understands the business and the needs of the homeowner. He went above and beyond in my opinion. From the initial inspection of the damages to the roof through the installation and to the end of the process, John provided thorough explanations of his assessment, he was attentive to our questions, he has an upbeat personality keeping things positive in a not so happy situation (total loss of our roof due to winds) he kept us involved and aware of the processes. We had entered a contract to buy a new home and needed to sell our current home fast. Inspector indicated our existing home needed a roof before sale could be finalized. Everything happened so quickly we ended up needing new roof in about a week. Recently had my roof repaired by Bacon Roofing.The workers were quick, polite, and cleaned their work site well.They worked in less than ideal conditions, but that did not stop them from finishing promptly and they too time to blow out my gutters and ran the magnet over the yard, concrete, and flower beds to clean up nails.John Bacon was extremely polite and communicated repairs well.If there was a way to give more than 5 stars, I would.

A truck from this company rolled coal on an open-air cab tractor on FM 1655 in Wise County on June 20, 2023. It completely obscured the tractor and roadway. I'd avoid this roofer unless you want somebody with the behavior of a five year old working on your home.
