Capitol Roofing really went above and beyond for me. Josh was on my rooftop several times during the process of trying to get my insurance company to acknowledge the hail and wind damage. When they finally did, Capitol Roofing had everything prepped and ready to work within the week! Not only did they replace the roof beautifully, but they were also able to replace my badly worn and torn window screens, old damaged gutters, and the attic exhaust fan. The crew was quick, diligent, and took extra care to cover the windows and entries with plywood to protect them from falling debris. They left the area clean and tidy and did just a beautiful job!

My roof was damaged by wind and hail this last year and Josh Mercer came out the same day I called -to inspect it. He found some damage and I contacted my insurance, who sent their own person to look at it. I noticed that the areas chosen by this person avoided areas I could see damage on, and I took pictures of the markings. I contacted Josh and he came back and re-marked and submitted pictures to my insurance and then came back AGAIN to walk the roof with the adjuster. Needless to say, Josh's presence and knowledge helped convince my insurance there really WAS damage. Not only that, I had a check in hand and the work was scheduled by the next week!I got my roof replaced, my ancient attic fan, my screens and gutters as well. Let me just say that the entire roof, screens and cleanup were done in ONE DAY! Josh was on site overseeing and assisting the crew, which was amazing!The crew covered all the windows and doors with plywood and laid out tarps to protect as much as possible from the debris and also went over the yard several times to clean up. They are conscientious and respectful of the property, and do a beautiful job, pay great attention to detail and use excellent quality materials. The cost is appropriate to the quality. I called Justin out to do a roof inspection after a bad hail storm. What stood out for me was this crazy story. My insurance sends out not one but two adjusters, and the adjusters who I pay end up arguing while on my roof as too if they should cover the damages or not. Justin called me and let me know what was going on, but not to worry, he would take care of me. After this scheduled inspection, my insurance company sends another adjuster out without my permission. I called Justin and he stepped in once again to prove that my roof need to be replaced. Guys if you want a company that will go the extra mile and really make your burden theirs, call Captial Roofing and Construction. edit: I had to update my review because I continue to be blown away by this company. I had a water leak Christmas Eve, and they were over at my house very quickly with fans and helping me with water mitigation. After a hail storm recently, one of the caps on a pipe jack had come off. I sent Josh a picture and jokingly asked if it was covered under warranty (it was obviously from recent hail damage.) I kid you not, he was on my roof less than 30 minutes later and had it fixed and didn't charge me a dime. I will absolutely be a customer for life. OUTSTANDING customer service.It has taken me awhile to write this review because I didn’t even know where to begin with the exceptional service I received from Capitol Roofing and Construction and Josh Mercer. Josh went above and beyond to take care of what we needed and made sure it was done to our satisfaction, He even knocked down a wasps nest by my front door for me. I felt like a friend was taking care of us.I initially called them for a leak in my roof that had caused some damage on the inside of my home. I told him we wanted new flooring and painting but needed our roof fixed first. He informed me they could take care of all of it. It was so nice dealing with just one company to get everything done.He met the insurance adjuster at my home and he worked with them to get me a new roof on my house, shed, and gazebo as well as new gutters. He worked with my insurance about the claims prices, I just had to tell them where I wanted the check sent.After the roof Josh and the flooring expert , David, came to my house to discuss options. It was a bit challenging since I have a sunken living room but wanted an LVP floor. They did such a great job and I love our new floors.Josh walked my property with me and I told him everything I wanted painted/repaired. They worked with my timeline. I was unhappy with some of the crack repairs, but Josh listened and walked through my house again, taped everything I was concerned about, and it was fixed that day.Because I was getting multiple projects, they. Gave me a fantastic deal on flooring and painting too. I highly recommend this company and Josh Mercer. I am so happy we found Capital Roofing and Construction. We previously had a different company come out to replace rotted trim/fascia on the front of the house and we were not happy with the job they did. We contacted Capital Roofing and Construction to give us a quote to redo the bad repairs from the previous company, replace additional rotted trim/fascia and repair squirrel damage. We received a quick response from them and Josh and Aaron were at our house within a couple days to check things out. It was obvious right away they were very knowledgeable and experienced in their trade. The quote they gave us was 100% appropriate given the cost of materials right now and a respectable rate for labor. Aaron used quality materials like pressure-treated wood and he and his colleague had wonderful attention to detail. These guys were troopers and put in as much time as they could over multiple days during one of the hottest summers. They even worked weekends to keep the job timeline on track. They always let us know when they arrived and gave us updates before they left for the day. Aaron always came to show us any issue he found and consulted with Josh so they could let us know our options for fixing any issues. Josh, Aaron, and their team were a huge pleasure to work with and I will go to them again for any future work I need done. Initially hired these folks to do a roof replacement from hail damage. The folks at Capitol Roofing are great. Everyone I have dealt with – Justin, Adrian and Kelli, plus some of their other workers – have been thoroughly professional, helpful, courteous and pleasant to deal with. They started with replacing my roof and gutters. They dealt with my insurance company and made that process go very smoothly. When it came to doing the work, they showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and finished when I was told they would. They also handled a separate project in my house, and did another top-notch job on that – plus José and his dad, who did the job, couldn't have been nicer and more conscientious. Contacted Capitol for a skylight repair. Josh Mercer came out as promised, on time, very professional. Reviewed the problem in the attic, and fixed the issue same day. He did not charge me for the repair. Let me repeat that, he did not charge me for the repair. Was at my house about an hour, up in the attic where the temperature was about 100 degrees. I called Capitol Roofing and spoke to Kelli because there was a leak in my roof. She set me up an appointment with Justin and he came out and inspected it. Turns out I needed a new roof and there were lots of hail hits I didn’t even know were there. He called the insurance and got it approved and I had a new roof in two weeks time. It was the easiest thing I’ve ever had to do. I would recommend this company to everyone. They did all the work and I am very happy. Thank you Kelli and Justin for everything.

This winter storm has taken Texas for spin. Unfortunately, we had our pipes burst in the evening. I must have made over 15 calls with no luck. One large plumbing franchise said they could squeeze me in March (almost 3 weeks out). I called Capitol and from the beginning the phone service was exceptional. She lets us know the owner lived locally to us and would stop by that same night. He arrived with COVID precautions in mind. He was able to spot on where our leak occurred and advised that tomorrow he would be able to restore water and repair the pipe. We received multiple calls from the front office in the morning letting us know time lines and time frames on why the delays. They owner came and inspected the work performed and again provided time lines for Sheetrock repair.I have had to deal with contractors in the past but have never received top of the line service.Thank you all at Capitol Roofing & Construction, LLC for al that was provided.
