MacKenzie Restoration is an amazing company. I started with them when I needed an entire appartment cleaned up after a family death. Their price was lower than any other company we reviewed. Every single item was digitally itemized and I received pictures short;y after the cleanup. After the cleanup they provided indoor storage for my family member's belongings. When I arrived in town to gather a few belongings, I was surpriseed to see MaKenzie Restoration had placed every item out, systemically organized to ease my search. They were able to donate any items I did not need. Then, I needed a complete renovation of this 1983 "gutted" appartment. I was surprised to find out Makenzie could handle this also. Tim, project manager was amazing. Prices were completely reasonable, no hidden charges. The project took several weeks. I put it on the market and it sold in 24 hours. Drew, Preston, and Carter all did such an amazing job inside and keeping us informed in anything they did. All 3 guys were hard working, trustworthy, and extremely professional. They did such an amazing job! I would request those 3 young men if I ever do have any other issues.The project manager that was assigned , David. He was great. He was very professional and kept me in the loop about everything going on. His contractor Roberto and his men were great as well. I couldn’t have asked for better men to complete this job. They worked hard and made our home look brand new. If you can request a project manager. I would definitely go with David but as long as Roberto comes with. Both great guys.There were issues, but it wasn’t on any of the labor part. If I can tell anyone anything about hiring MacKenzie, it’s this. If they give you an adjuster which they will assign one to you, make sure it’s NOT Greg. Completely absent from the entire project, was extremely pushy for the deposit immediately so they can get started, yet they wouldn’t start for 2.5 weeks, was told multiple times he will be coming to assess the home, never did show up. He sent technicians for him. The technicals were great, but Ole Greg must have been enjoying himself never returning phone calls, nor answering his phone, and giving the worst estimates to us that were completely wrong and consistently change the overall price …..again everyone was great EXCEPT Greg. Ask for someone who actually cares.To the demolition team, David, Roberto, pack out crew, thank you so much. You all did amazing work. You all stayed in touch. You all understood what was going on. I am the Office Operations Coordinator at the Pregnancy Care Center. I originally met John Mackenzie & Jonathan Clark from Mackenzie Restoration when we discovered a family of raccoons living in our building. Mr. MacKenzie came over to assess the situation and then put me in touch with Jonathan. That's where our story started. A few days after we found the raccoons, I walked into the Center, right after the July 4th Holiday Weekend, in 2019 and walked into the biggest water leak ever. We immediately contacted MacKenzie Restoration to see if we could borrow a big fan. Mr. MacKenzie and Jonathan Clark not only sent over a big fan, but several fans and a crew to clean up the mess. We started working with Jonathan on what the plan was for our floors and all the water damage that we had. His crew was amazing. They cleaned up the damaged area, gave us a game plan and started the restoration process immediately. The team knew we had to try and keep business as usual and so they worked with our hours to try and get the job done as quickly as possible. As we chatted more and more, we started building not only a working relationship but a personal friendship as well. It has been a year later and we went from repairing a portion of our damaged floor to a brand new ceramic tile floor and new paint on our walls. This truly has been a blessing for us here at the Center.We did run into a few challenges along the way but we all worked together to get the job completed. The customer service from everyone involved at Mackenzie Restoration has been phenomenal. Anytime we had questions or concerns, they were quick to respond and even when we needed to make changes, they didn't hesitate to make those changes for us. We not only discovered a great business here in San Antonio but we have also made lifelong friends with Mackenzie Restoration. This company has definitely gone above an beyond for us and we couldn't be happier with the results.If you ever have restoration needs for your home, I would highly recommend MacKenzie Restoration. Recently I had smoke damage due to a small fire, very stressful time for me, it was right before a vacation, and I had family visiting. From the initial process of making contact with Joe Lusca to completion ending with David, the team not only displayed the highest form of professionalism, but the work was phenomenal. There was a slight adjustment when it came to scheduling, but David was available to answer questions after hours and through text. He understood my time crunch and made everything possible. There was a change in contractors, so David brought Anthony on site to start demo and restoration. David worked so hard and quickly to meet my schedule. He sent daily text and pics of his work, he also acted very quickly to any concerns I had. His craftmanship was PHENOMENAL. You can't tell any damage was done. One of my doors needed to be replaced, but the model isn't available anymore. David fixed the frame so precisely that the door looks new. He was very honest in what he could complete daily and was very punctual on arrival. If the entire MacKenzie team work ethics and craftsmanship are like David and Anthony's, you will not be disappointed. House fires are scary by itself, knowing a restoration company has your best interest as a priority, calms the anxiety. Who could ever forget San Antonio’s snowageddon of 2021?Last February I received a call from a very good tenant of ours reporting several broken plumbing pipes. “Water everywhere” Yikes!There was never any question of who We should call. my family room and roof were destroyed by another company that my insurance company sent two years ago after hail damage. For 2 years I had water damage every time it rained. I finally got to have Mackenzie come and repair the whole mess. Joseph was the first contact - very patient in explaining and getting things together. Jonathan Clark came in as project manager and bought out top notch people to replace the roof, repair all internal damages, paint and refinish the floor. Jonathan kept on top of it all - my family room looks spectacular. He kept me updated and made himself available whenever i had questions. I couldn't be happier. Amanda Campos came in to have an antique couch repaired and reupholstered-she kept in contact with me with updates. The couch is gorgeous. Jonathan Clark was the project manager that we worked with for the repair/construction piece of our water damage. Let me just say he was FANTASTIC!!! He went above and beyond through the whole process. Not only did he have amazing customer service, making sure to be available for all of our questions or concerns that we had but he also jumped right in, helping us work out a problem his phenomenal contractors found (more damage to the back of our hot water heater). I cannot say enough how AMAZING Mr. Clark was!!! His contractors where amazing too. Extremely high quality work, they were so professional and polite the whole time. The contractors and Jonathan really made an effort to get the work done around our schedule so not to disrupt our lives. This is the second claim I used them. The first time my insurance company recommended them for inside wall repairs due water pipe damages. Love the entire staff at Mackenzie. They wasted no time in showing up. Called insurance company early Friday Morning and Christina and another young lady were at my house around 9 am helping pack items as my entire first floor was flooded. I didn't expect all the help I got so that was a blessing. You need all the help you can get when you find yourself in this horrible situation. Greg came out on Saturday to see damages and start preparing the insurance cost to submit to insurance. Every day is critical so the sooner Mackenzie moved the sooner insurance would approve things. Very grateful that Greg showed up on Saturday he had the paper work to insurance company in a few days. Great job to Greg! Once insurance approved cost, Jonathan comes with his crew which is the BEST!!!!!!!!! I love David and his crew they did a beautiful job not to mention they are very professional. MacKenzie Restoration was outstanding on the mitigation efforts I recently needed for a homeowners insurance claim. We had water seeping from under a toilet and under a few adjoining rooms' floors. Not a fun way to start the day. However, Keith Owen came in and saved the day. He took a couple hours on a Saturday to start the mitigation process and seal up the immediate affected areas. He was prompt, professional and courteous. He wore a mask and gloves so my family and I felt safe. He communicated every time an update was needed over the next few days as the dehumidifier did it's job. On Thursday Keith brought a 3 man crew to remove additional flooring. Unfortunately, the adhesive prevented a complete recovery and they had stop so as not to prolong the efforts unnecessarily. Keith apologized (although he had no reason to) and explained once the company started the replacement process, a flooring contractor would finish the removal and installation. The kids enjoyed the music selection the crew had playing and even laughed when the crew sang along to "Puff, the Magic Dragon." While unfortunate that I needed MacKenzie Restoration's services, I am happy that they ended up at our house to help us out in tough situation. As I mentioned before, Keith is a Godsend and he truly epitomizes unparalled customer service. I will update review once the work is finished, but if the crew that does the repairs is only half as good as Keith and his crew, I've got no worries.

Update: Want to thank Jesse and his crew for the huge job they completed at my house which spanned several months. My home was severely damaged by the April hail storm. My home now looks great!A.B. and Simon responded quickly and addressed the unexpected water in our house. They quickly set up fans and dehumidifier and drove over 50 miles 3 days in a row to test moisture levels in our home.
