I was referred to Skyler Herndon through my Hillside Townhome property manager. They were tasked to replace the roofs in our complex after the May 2023 storm, and they delivered on everything they promised. Skyler and his Project Manager, Troy Metiva, maintained contact with me throughout the process, and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the final product. They hit a home run! Very nice people. They replaced our old Spanish Tile with a metal roof and it looks fantastic! I am completely satisfied, and highly recommend them. Needed our 1 year old metal roof to be replaced after softball sized hail in September 2023 in Austin. Tabari and Skyler reached out to me as they were doing another roof in our neighborhood and I was immediately impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. Decided to go with them for our roof replacement and it was 1000% the right decision. The new roof looks better than the original, the guys took their time and did everything right instead of rushing to finish, and they quickly and effectively addressed any issues we had. We wanted to cover our metal pergola with a roof to provide additional shade. We talked with several contractors who wanted to do all sorts of very extensive changes to the pergola costing tens of thousands of dollars. Finished Work Roofing not only installed a top notch metal roof on the pergola, but they also installed rain gutters and added dektites to prevent rainwater from leaking past the drain vents on the roof. Finished Work Roofing is top notch!Our home is all stone construction and was built in the 1920s. Preserving the historic look was very important to us. Many of the construction skills and materials used when the house was originally built simply don’t exist today. Skyler Herndon and his team patiently and painstakingly developed a plan that would preserve the historic feel while elevating it with a slightly modern touch. They worked with our insurance company to justify and secure additional reimbursement dollars. They coordinated work between metal fabricators, traditional roofers, masons, painters and others.The outcome was stellar! Finished work did an amazing job on our new roof! We had gotten a new “lifetime” metal roof from another company and were sickened to see the pictures Hunter showed us of the shoddy workmanship and damage to our roof that was only a few years old. 😢Hunter offered to make the situation right and helped us navigate all the paperwork with our insurance company to get a beautiful new roof. The workers and everyone we dealt with during this project were so professional and helpful. These guys know what they’re doing! They are efficient, polite, and we have yet to find a nail or scrap of metal in our yard from the job. Hunter made countless trips to our house to make sure we had everything In order.
