The whole experience with Tom and his team was amazing from the consultation to the insulation removal/installation. Tom gave great insight into what to expect and the benefits of removing the old insulation, which we really wanted and what other companies weren't offering. They also installed attic door insulation covers on both of our attic entrances which is greatly appreciated since one of our access doors is in our primary closet. Having owned this 1978 built house for 10 years, the rock wool insulation also from that year….. I said to myself, I can do this I can remove the old and replace with new insulation. And procrastination. Got one quote, and procrastinated more… Finally, after installing new AC and ductwork and it struggling to work….my partner, she had had enough.She saw the GEO-Insulation truck, and wrote down their number. Being an avid watcher of Google reviews, She looked up GEO and liked what she saw. She scheduled an appointment to get a proposal. From the time, Tom Porter Came to our house to give us a proposal, his professionalism on insulation stood out. Not once has anyone explained to us why We should not use batt Insulation again in an old house and why blown in is recommended.We decided to go with Geo insulation. Fast forward to installation day, Tom and his worker showed up on time and very quickly and efficiently got blown in insulation into our entire attic in the time promised. Clean, attention to detail. Found spots with no insulation in attic. Took care of that.And promised a one-year come back in case of need if insulation got disturbed. Tom and crew installed fresh insulation into our attics. They are fast, friendly, and incredibly efficient. Tom came by the house first and reviewed our current insulation where he explained his process and what we needed to help our house stay cooler in the summer and warmer in winter. The most impressive part is he actually explained we didn't need additional solar barrier only fresh fill and a few spots filled that were missed by the builders 20 years ago. His quote was the best we received and on the day-of they arrived early and were finished in about 2 hours. I'll be recommending Geo to all my friends.

Geo- insulation is a very professional company Tom came to my house to give me an estimate of the work that needed to be done along with the cost also gave me important info about my insulation in my attic and gave me some info on the type of insulation they use and the r rating overall very respectful and very knowledgeable.The next day was the install they came in and ready to work , they pulled there equipment out and got to work at the same time being very careful not to break anything they use blankets wherever they needed to put equipment down so they wouldn’t damage the floors the install was fast also cleaned up after themselves after the work was done he explained all the paper work. Great work guys very happy with the results energy bill shows proof coming from another trade worker I recommend Geo -insulation.

I recently hired Geo-Insulation to install a radiant barrier in my home. My attic is already much cooler (I have been hauling stuff up there) and they installed more blown in insulation.Tom, the owner, came out to my home and provided me with a bid. He didn't try to give me some sales pitch or upsell me on getting a "good, better, best" solution based on how much I had to spend. He was straightforward and gave me the space to make my own decision about what I wanted to do. He was respectful of me, my time, my home, and understood that I had done my research on the product I was purchasing.When it came time to do the work, he was out here himself with another guy and completed it quickly. I'm really happy with the work and the way I was treated and the fair pricing I got for the job.I will definitely call Tom in the future for other services.

Geo-Insulation came today (Sunday morning) to top up the insulation on our new (to us) home. Tom and his team were punctual, professional and we were extremely happy with the results. Tom also installed a barrier at the top of the attic stairs, that unzips, so everything in the attic , stays in the attic!We looked at the reviews for this company and interviewed Tom before scheduling the service. Our home was built in the 1950's with a very low pitch roof, so our attic barely qualifies as a crawl-space. Years ago, squirrels and rodents gained access and left a horrible mess to deal with. Other quotes we received to clean out the attic and install a nice, thick, cozy blanket of loose-fill fiberglass were MUCH higher, due to the difficulty of navigating the tight space. Tom with Geo-Insulation was very prompt, professional, accommodating to our schedule, AND provided the most reasonable (lowest) quote!! Tom even filled out the CPS rebate form for me to sign! Josh and his crew were incredible during the work. They were very professional, thorough, answered all my questions, and cleaned up after themselves. Living in the summer heat of San Antonio is going to be so much more comfortable, easier on our energy bills, and less stressful on our HVAC, thanks to Tom, Josh and the crew at Geo-Insulation.

Our experience with Geo-Insulation was excellent. Tom came out for a consultation and was very informative and took his time to answer many of my various questions about different insulation types, what would be best for us, and about critters that can get into the attic. He gave us a quote which was much less expensive than two other quotes we got from other companies, and he said he'd beat anyone's price.The removal/install team was always prompt and professional. They removed old insulation, air sealed, sanitized, sprayed solar barrier, and blew in new insulation. They even installed an attic tent over the attic stair entry for better insulation.Tom also submitted the CPS energy rebate form for us and we got our rebate in the mail a month or two later. Would definitely recommend Geo-Insulation!

Recently moved into an older home in desperate need of new insulation as the old stuff had matted down to just a few inches and all rafters exposed. A few areas missing insulation completely due to some reno work. After getting a couple quotes and also wanting to have a radiant barrier applied to the under roof to better help with the summer heat, Geo-Insulation had a very competitive rate to do both. Install was pretty straight forward and went smoothly. Already seeing temps a bit more balanced throughout the home and excited to see the gains come summer time.

The owner and his team did a wonderful job. From the beginning when I was getting a quote, the owner himself came out to my house to not only quote it out but education me on the process. My house was built in 1980 without changing out the insulation while pests in the attic in the past. I received a quote right away and then informed of the rebate from CPS. The team showed up on time when scheduled and completed the job in 2 days. It was a bigger job as they sucked all the old insulation out which I double checked after they left and they truly sucked ALL of the old stuff out. His price for the work needed was by far the best compared to other companies wanting more for less.The crew arrived on time got everything prepared and went straight to work with the attic barrier and insulation. They were very respectful cleaned up very well and made sure I was satisfied with the work performed. I got a call from Tom the next day to see how everything is going. Tom did great with answering all our questions and presenting several options. He also responded quickly to get us on schedule. On installation day, the installers were polite, quick and cleaned the are as if they were never there! I could immediately feel the difference in temperature on our second floor which used to be a furnace. We now get to enjoy that are of the house during mid-afternoon summer heat!
