Edited for a response to company: As mentioned by your previous victims on gaslighting, here you are. Why should I trust you? This is my house, and I am unhappy because of you. I have a reason to complain if the service is substandard and dishonest. I have tried to contact you on various issues, and as always, you are out of town or do not return phone calls- just an email & text tough guy. I have evidence to prove my attempts and correspondence, which was collected by the appraiser who finalized the results of our project failures. Contact me for mediation like a man instead of attempting to justify your crooked business on google. I have every right to speak the truth.Posted April 26th- Avoid this company immediately! Seek Yelp reviews! I am posting this not to seek repairs or discounts from this company. I have paid our contracted dues, and we have voiced our concerns about SATX remodeling to Andy and Mark.I am a 21-year retired Combat Veteran who is greatly disappointed in this company. I recommend that all who value timely service and respect for the consumer clear of Andy and His team (Previously known as A&L renovations), and if you are a veteran, please connect and inform our community- this occurrence triggered some extreme anger for me post-retirement. Please do your research and ignore the high ratings; I have spoken to several contractors who have heard of his company and are cleaning up his work. I am a person of integrity and understanding, but this company has been a nightmare to work with. Andy will only communicate via text message and avoids all opportunities to discuss concerns during the project timelines. There is zero property management, and he has never visited my home to review the work. His subcontractors have voiced their concerns about not being paid for their services, which resulted in a contractor abandoning us during our floor renovations. During the floor construction, our floors were demoed, and tiles were laid improperly. When I voiced my concerns, Andy did not care and sent over someone who works with him to validate my claim before attempting to fix it. The result is damaged flooring, which we must replace sooner than anticipated, incomplete work in our Kitchen, and now patio repairs, which he promised were under warranty- Now leaking after six (6) months of completion.To make matters worse, one of his contractors mentioned finding work on my property on an Indeed posting. This leads me to believe that these subcontractors are inexperienced, not licensed, or have yet received a background check- which he lied about. We were under contract for 25K dollars for a patio awning, flooring, kitchen cabinets (painted), and kitchen light fixtures work, which seemed to be reasonable, but as they say, if it's too good to be true, don't trust it. Within four months, we sought other companies to fix the damages and requested for him to be reported to the HUD. Andy has attempted to resolve the issues, but the contractor's craftsmanship has hindered our contract completion. My family and I were unsettled during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Andy did not try to complete any of these deficiencies and voiced that his contractors were scheduled on other projects, preventing them from completing ours during our availabilities. I recently contacted him about the warranty he promised on my patio awning, which started to leak, and he has not responded. It's sad! Now, I must take him to small claims court, along with others, for the repairs. Sadly, this individual has a secondary career in medicine. My wife and others have placed reviews on this account only to have them removed. This guy should not be trusted; if you see photos on his site resembling my Kitchen's colors, white cabinets, and grey flooring, those photos were from my wife's post, Jodi Mitchell, which Andy had removed.***Be aware of the 5 star reviews*** that will follow this post to increase his rating. Once again, I have served and lived my life with the utmost integrity don't trust this company.

What should have been an easy project turned into something complicated through a series of unfortunate events, however, the whole team was flexible and understanding and did not take advantage of the situation, but rather worked with me to complete the project as quickly as possible without jacking up the price. I was very happy with the work provided and I will 100% call them again.

SATX RemodelingWe hired SATX Remodeling to help with a drywall patch that was an eye sore in our living room on the ceiling. The technician showed up early prepped the room and removed insulation before cutting into Sheetrock. The job was done clean and professionally. I’m glad that was finally taken care. We would recommend SATX Remodeling for any of your drywall patching needs.

I never write review, but I felt it important for me to write one in hopes others don't make the mistake doing business with these people, especially those more vulnerable. Andy is a scam, a crook, takes advantage of others. Theres no management, he doesn't oversee any work, he just goes after. I hired him to do a job of which they hid that they didn't intend to do, they just covered it up and figured I wouldn't see. I later found out that he at no point told the workers to do it. When question they said Andy doesn't care about the work, so long a he gets paid... Aside from that, the work was horrid. The workers clearly have no idea what they're doing. It was the sloppiest work I had ever seen, and done completely incorrect. I ended up just not saying anything, and hiring a actual professional to come and redo everything which costed thousands more. Andy offered to fix the issue, but how do fix someone flat out robbing you on work, and having no care at all about the work, just getting paid... I felt he wasen't a good person at all. I hope this helps to not make the same mistake, read the reviews, Andy has bad reviews everywhere, don't fall for the fake good reviews.

Mark lead this crew and he did phenomenal work. He paid tremendous attention to each and every detail, accommodated each of our requests throughout the project, and communicated with us at every step. We could not be happier with the way the floor and stairs turned out. I highly recommend this company for any remodeling projects.

Andy, this is a public service announcement, and a public message to you to stay off our property. Do not email or text me or my wife again, do not step foot on our property again, or we will call the cops on you. You are a crook, you are manipulative, you have gaslighted us and you have stolen from us. By your own admission you have withheld thousands of dollars from us and your subcontractor. We have paid you for the work you performed even though you did not complete the work (and we have pictures to prove it). We could come after you but we want nothing to do with you. My wife communicated this to you many times, but I will say this very publicly here and I hope you listen now - stay away from me, my wife, and our property, you are harassing us.

After dealing with another company ( nameless) the worker was working in my attic and here comes this foot though my brand new ceiling. I just closed on my new house and this guy ( from another company) fell though my ceiling. I really appreciate and enjoyed SATX remodeling for sending Mark my way. He was on time, clean and very honest. After looking at the details of the damage he went over what needed to be done and what we could save. His work matched the current texture and wall color of the builders. After finishing the work Mark cleaned up and ensured all items were picked up. Amazing service, they resurfaced my standard tub. From start to finish I would recommend this business, was able to schedule someone to come out within days of me calling. Other places were charging $400 - $800 for this service, they did it for $200. The chemicals used were so strong they killed a hornet that somehow got in my house, and as soon as he finished he cleaned up everything and even noticed that it made a bit of the clear coat on my cabinets get messed up so he went out to his car and put a brand new clear coat on them. 10 out of 10 service, will recommend to others as well as use again in the future.Services: Refurbishment, Interior finishing
