I had my metal roof installed in 2014. With all the rain we've had lately, I wanted to get it inspected, especially around the pipes. John came out to inspect and resealed all the pipes. He also noticed a loose board from the siding and secured it for me. All of this was at no charge to me. They work to keep their customers happy, even years after the work was done and payment received. I cannot thank Southwest Metal Roofing for their help, patience, cooperation, and compassion regarding the transfer of the roof’s warranty from my name to the new homeowners after recently selling my house.I also want to take a minute to thank them again for the roof itself. I loved, loved, loved that roof and couldn’t help but feel so damn proud of it every time I drove into my driveway and saw it. I mean, every time! And while I knew it would help decrease our utility bill, I didn’t know exactly how dramatic of a change it would be. Thanks to Southwest Metal Roofing, I believe my average CPS Energy invoice was in the neighborhood of $150 a month — for a two story, almost 2,500 square foot house. Un. Be. Lieve. A. Ble.The day the new homeowners had the inspection scheduled just happened to be the day our neighborhood was hit with a storm that produced massive hail. My kids and I were nearby and driving in it, as it produced pieces of ice falling from the sky that were literally the size of my fist. They sounded like indescribable explosions hitting my car (we were thankfully able to take shelter under the very last available spot at the local Sonic). My realtor informed me that everyone at the house that morning did, in fact, also suffer the hail’s effects. But when it was all over done, and the inspector looked at our roof again, he turned to the buyers and their realtor emphasizing that we had “a damn good roof!”I don’t doubt I’ll be calling them again when I need roof estimates at any future home I move into. I not only had people stop by the house to compliment my roof and ask who did it, but any time anyone needed a recommendation I enthusiastically threw their name out there. I’ll always be proud to have crossed paths with them, and feel lucky to have done business with Southwest Metal Roofing.They should just be glad I don’t create their public relations or marketing campaigns. My brain would be stuck on the one word everyone’s seemed to use to describe and compliment my roof .... dayyyummmm .... “The best damn roof you’ll ever own!” LolIt’s been a pleasure to do business with them.

I got serveal bids from 28000 to 50000, southwest metal roofs was the 28000 and came recommended, I was weary because they were the cheapest, but they did an amazing job from start to finish, I would highly recommend this company

As a result of a San Antonio hail storm, our insurance company determined we needed a new roof. We decided to replace traditional shingles with a standing seam metal roof because it would look great and last forever, even though it would cost more. After doing a lot of research, we determined Southwest Metal Roofing Systems was the company to go with for quality and service; they’ve been in business for over 30 years. We’re so glad we did. From first contact, throughout the December 2018 replacement, and final contact we experienced staff members throughout the company who were polite, efficient, and thorough. We love our new roof and skylights. A couple months after the work was done, we noticed some minor damage to an interior ceiling around a skylight. Rex immediately responded and sent someone to assess, then fix the problem. Our positive experience plus stories from friends who regretted they didn’t call Southwest Metal sealed it for us: this is definitely the best company in San Antonio to work with for your new roof.

We are very pleased with our Terra Cotta metal roof installation. The roof is beautiful. We were given an estimate in a timely manner. The work began when stated and went smoothly and quickly. The roofers cleaned up daily and did not destroy any bushes. Everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this company.

One of my concerns was that I was not being kept informed of the daily status of work. When I told Rex that I was told that it would take about four days from Danny. He told me that he wasn’t suppose to say that. When I brought to Rex’s attention that workers were arriving at work different times every day, ranging from 8:00 and 11:45. It was apparent that Rex was unaware of this. When I asked about who and when someone from Quality Control would check the work, I was told by Rex that I had their “number one team” working on my house. When John came by to inspect the house after the crew left, I asked him when I was going to receive a copy of the warranty. He was surprised that I hadn’t received it and as of today, 31 October, I still don’t have a copy of a warranty. Rex was identified as the foreman and I saw him twice. Once on the first day when he came by to get money and the day before completion for a total of about 15 minutes. People have mentioned that they like the roof but not the time frame it took to finish my roof.

Very professional with huge customer focus. I have known them for over 17 years. Today I have my new roof completed. They finished it right on time and kept me in the loop step by step. It was interesting to watch the workmen ( I have a Ring System) . The leaned up every day and had some kind of rolling magnetic thing that picked up any left over screws so my driveway is safe to drive and walk on.

We hired SW Metal Roofing Systems to replace our composition roof with a new metal roof. The staff was very knowledgeable and took time to answer all our questions about options and colors. Work crews were very polite, efficient and cleaned up after themselves daily. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we love our new metal roof. Cindy, the person answering phone detoured me from dealing with this company. Talked down to me as if I could not afford new roof saying "you know metal roofing is 2-3 times more than composite roofing." I said ok. Her reply "well we're not able to go out till end of June to give est." (I called May 9, '16) I went with a more expensive competitor because they walked me step by step and made it painless for me. You're losing customers with the negative representative you have greeting your potential customers. Keep that up and you won't have to worry about anymore negative reviews........you'll be out of business.

Just got off the phone with Danny looking to get a quote for a client as I am a solar contractor. The client needs a new roof and all He said to me is "sorry we are not interested" and hung up the phone before I could say anything. This comes across as being very shady and bad business not sure how they really treat people at this point so be cautious.

Terrible experience nothing but problems and in the end they were not willing to take responsibility for all of their mistakes. Very poor job done, they did come back and repair some of the stuff, but only after it was pointed out.
