Stephens RoofingI’ll start this review about Stephens Roofing by saying this experience with them is the experience other business should model themselves by. My roof incurred damage from several south Texas storms and it needed replacement. Stephens Roofing was recommended by several coworkers. When I researched different roofing companies, they returned with excellent reviews. After contacting Stephens Roofing, Zane arrived to inspect and estimate the replacement of the roof. He was extremely personable, professional and informative. Zane answered all my questions and made me feel more like part of a family and not another paycheck. The interaction with the insurance company was seamless and fluid quickly progressing to the scheduling of the roof replacement. The crews arrived promptly and eager to start. Juan the Job foreman carried on with the feeling of being part of a family. He was informative and supportive with the crews to get the job done. The crew worked hard with a positive energy, helping each other, laughing and smiling, while staying focused and on task. The job was completed quickly and accurately with the crew doing a great job of cleanup. Tommy the Production Supervisor arrived during cleanup and was welcoming and personable. He and I walked through the job for an inspection and made sure the job was to my satisfaction. That following day a heavy storm passed through my area. I got up on the roof just to inspect after the storm. I noticed a couple items that I would like changed to prepare for future storms and contacted Tommy. The next day he arrived to inspect the changes and had a crew out to make the changes to my preference. Tommy and the crew were understanding, supportive and without hesitation completed the changes. Tommy did a great job at making sure my expectations were met and the job was complete. The follow up for billing arrangements from Jessica, Olivia, and Sierra made taking care of the bill comfortable and stress free. My family was hit by some unplanned life emergencies requiring financial obligations. Jessica, Olivia, and Sierra were understanding and unexpectedly helpful with making payment arrangements to fit our needs. Stephens Roofing from the beginning to the end of the project has exceeded expectations and has gone out of their way to make sure our family was taken care of. I don’t say this often about other companies, but Stephens Roofing had a “Family” feel through the process, making our family feel as part of their family. Amazing job Y’all. Thank you so much.

As you can see in photos neighbors oak tree was growing over and onto roof. Had tree service remove intruding oak tree and then contacted Stephen's and started inspection and resulting repair process. Derrick went the extra mile and contacted original roofing company vendor to get matching shingles. Great price and great service from Derrick and there team. Work performed quickly and with such efficiency I didn't know they had already come and gone with repair completed. Zane and Stephens Roofing came recommended to us by our neighbor after we had hail damage from a storm. He made the process so easy and quick! He worked with the insurance adjuster so we did’t have to worry about anything, he took care of it all. He walked us through everything to make sure we were getting the best roof possible without having to pay over our deductible. His team came out a couple days later to replace the roof. They did an excellent job and we are happy with it! If you are looking for a reliable roofer, I recommend Zane and Stephen’s roofing!

This company did a roof repair for my uncle charging about $1700 and about six months later the roof keeps leaking and they keep sending more people to repair and they can never find a problem but in the meantime my attic and interior keeps getting damaged.. I called another Roofer to see if I can fix it and they discover that the repairs that Steven Roofing did have nothing to do with the issue and that’s why it didn’t work. The sales person who sold me the service never even came back to do a quality check after the job was done to make sure that things were done correctly and now I have to pay an hour $2000 to another company to fix it

It has been 2 years and they have done nothing except damaged my windows and my home. I have leaks that they have never resolved. They give their bull about "we attempted to call you to resolve" after I constantly called and emailed them of the many mistakes and damage done. I also allowed them to send on 4 different occasions 4 different subcontractors to fix and every single one of them said they will not because the fly by night roofer Stephens had to install did it improperly and damages were to many for them to handle. I call and emailed Stephens to let them know what the contractors said and that not even 1 repair was done yet all Stephens does is call and mail letters for me to pay the small balance I owe of 1600.00 I should have never paid them anything at all yet I did since they place fear in us that they would place a lien on our home. Everytime it rains I have to worry and get buckets or pails out. What I'm showing on the photos is just a small percentage of everything they have done to harm us emotionally, mentally, and financially. My old roof was better than this roof they installed. At this time I want a full refund and an additional check for damages as well as Interest that the amount we paid would have earned. It's sad how they tried to rebuttal my wife when she posted our situation and the negative review we did and yet they still have not come to fix all the damages and to apologize. Even when I listed just a few photos of how their workmanship and reliability is they never still have not truly cared to resolve. Anything. They want to dispute the rating so fast yet forgetting the damage and emotional and financial strain they placed on my family.Service: Roof installation

Called Stephens Roofing early in the week of February 5th or 6th Shay Garcia came out. She was very accommodating and informative and very helpful with also dealing with my insurance company. Had lots of hail damage and rotted vents and missing shingles.leaks in my attic. She was able to get me a new roof. By Friday of that same week February 9th I had a beautiful new roof. They got here at 7:00 a.m. and were done by 4:00 p.m. I didn't expect it to happen so fast. I was so pleased with the speed of the job. Before I knew it they were gone and job well done. The whole process with Stephens Roofing was excellent. From the initial inspection, to the coordination with our insurance adjuster, to the choosing of the right shingles for our house, to the actual installation, everything went smoothly. There was no rushing--just careful work--and thorough cleanup after the job. We've seen the debris left by other roofers in the neighborhood! Communication throughout was excellent. They did an excellent job replacing my shingles after hail damage. Recently, I thought I had a serious problem with water being drawn into my roof through the ridge vent and animals getting into my attic through the side vents.Cash, a man that I’ve learned to trust, came out, looked up in my attic and checked both side vents and determined animals are not able to get in because the screening is still intact covering both side vents. He also determined there was no evidence of water being drawn into my attic.I was thinking I was gonna be needing $5000 worth of repairs to seal my vents and prevent water from getting into the attic. He determined that there was no need to do either one, because there was no problem and no evidence that a problem had occurred.In addition, there was no charge for his inspection.I’m so relieved to have somebody I can really trust. I highly, highly recommend these people.Less reputable dealer might’ve found reason to fix something where there was no problem.Michael Tyler.

From the minute I requested an appointment the customer service was top notch! I can't say enough about Matt Bean, he was very thorough, and guided me along the way. He took the stress of dealing with my insurance company completely off of my shoulders. He was extremely professional, friendly, he knows what he is talking about! He got to my house before I did and was already finishing up. He took his time to explain everything to me, he answered all of my questions and even after he left he sent me more information and guided me!! Tommy the inspector was just as friendly and professional as Matt! I don't know who does the customer service training for Stephen's but it needs to be bottled up and sold to every organization that deals in customer service!!! Stephen's Roofing and Remodeling just completed our roof remodel. It is beautiful! They were super friendly and helpful every step of the way, even with my many questions and concerns having to do with estimates, insurance companies, mortgage companies, and time lines. They were extremely patient when we needed to place things on hold for a few months and quick with an adjusted estimate for the insurance company when we were finally ready to proceed. The crew who did the work was quick and efficient, they left a clean work space, and did a lovely job on my roof. The process was far less painful than anticipated, and every interaction with the staff was pleasant and positive. Everyone was very helpful and polite. Derrick is the person that took care of me. They just got through with my roof and the men that came out today replaced boards and part of the roof. They did a wonderful job. Very courteous and cleaned and hauled everything off. I didn’t see any nails or roof tile anywhere. After the work was done and the men left, Derrick called a couple of hours later. I was afraid to find someone to do this job, being how things are today. I didn’t want to get ripped off. My wife and I had heard about Stephens Roofing through ads on KTSA radio, so we called them. When Derrick contacted us and my aunt to review the situation, we were impressed with his knowledge and his willingness to work with us. He worked with the insurance representatives to get the best deal with the least "out-of-pocket" costs for my aunt. We were contacted by a Stephens Roofing employee named Zane Jackson (I believe it was in April 2022).1st let me say this, Mr. Jackson (Zane) was extremely professional with us and explained every aspect of this process to us (potato-head style for me, which I appreciated). Zane informed us that there was copious amounts of hail and wind damage on our roof and helped us with the entire process.We have USAA insurance, and they couldn't be bothered with helping us out in getting our roof replaced from obvious damage and leaks. Zane stuck with us and continued to fight on our behalf to get our obviously damaged roof replaced. Unlike my insurance company that I have been a member of since I was 16 years old.Eventually we had to hire a private adjuster to fight the insurance company. Again Zane stuck with us and continued to update us on what was going on. The private adjuster agreed with Zanes original assessment and eventually got us awarded a new roof.The crew was at our house on a Wednesday and finished with clean up on a Friday. The roof has completely changed the way my house looks.
