Honest service. The project project manager checked out my roof after a hail storm and let me know there was no damage. When a second, more damaging storm came through I immediately called Vidal Construction back. Joey worked with my insurance adjusers and worked within my needs and schedule. Joey even helped me out with getting my solar panels reattached when I found out my original solar company went out of business. Great service! Communicated with me every step of the way.

Vidal Construction handled our leaking roof after recent heavy rains. The team was quick to respond, communicated every step of the way and were honest and up front about their pricing. They did a quality check days after the initial repair and discovered a secondary leak. There was no price gouging or trying to take advantage of the additional work. Aside from materials, the additional work was included with the original quoted price. They were also considerate and respectful of the property, leaving no trash, debris, or materials on site. You couldn’t ask for a more fair, honest, and competent team to repair your roof. From the smallest leak, to to a tree collapsing the entire roof, I would choose Vidal over and over again.

A few years ago, Joey had replaced my neighbor’s roof. He informed me that the roof replacement was going to occur the following day, what to expect, with emphasis that if there were any accidental damages to my home they would repair it. He offered to do a courtesy inspection of my roof to determine if my home had hail damage as well. Unfortunately, I was denied coverage by my insurance company that year.As a result of the hail storms in 2023, my insurance company approved roof replacement due to hail. Joey was extremely informative of the steps I needed to take and met with the insurance adjuster to ensure all additional damages were not missed. I was happily surprised to find out that my gutters would be replaced as well. Both repairs were done quite efficiently from start to finish. Questions and issues were addressed promptly. Excellent customer service! Going above and beyond to pressure wash my driveway as well. I am extremely happy with their service.

After the recent hail storms we were constantly getting bombarded with different companies trying to get our business to replace our roof, but after meeting Joey we knew instantly that he and his company were the ones we wanted to go with. I used Vidal Construction a month ago to install my new roof and I couldn't be happier! Joey, the site manager checked on the installation progress throughout the day. I was also impressed with the way Joey walked my wife and I through the entire process and answered all our questions. It was a very smooth transaction. Joey even handled the HOA approval, which was seemless. They also provided a courteous pressure wash after completing the job. The hailstorm that occurred earlier in 2023 did quite a bit of damage to our home. We contacted USAA and they provided us a list of repair companies through the Contractor Connection network. Ultimately, we chose Vidal Construction and they didn’t disappoint. Joey Vidal came to our home and explained all of the work that would be accomplished, the differences in roofing colors and materials, and the timeline for completion. Due to his professionalism, we didn’t feel pressured and we liked that his company had our insurance company’s backing. There were multiple projects that needed repairs. He worked with us throughout the different repair processes and kept us informed on everything. He was present throughout, showing up multiple times during the day and inspected the work as it was being done. The people that work for the Vidal Construction were professional and took pride in their work. Every one of the repaired and replaced items were done with an attention to detail. We would use this company again and we would recommend this company.

ZERO stars: I'm writing this in the hopes of saving someone out there time/money/hassle. I am extremely disappointed in the service I got from Vidal. I had a flooding incident and had to remodel a bathroom - new tile, vanities, tub, paint, and resetting a toilet. Nothing major. The first project manager was so bad that I was doing his job for him, and trades were showing up out of order, wasting time. I guess this was happening on other jobs because they fired him. Then they sent in a contract tradesperson who was so rude that he kept pressuring me to pay him on the side to finish the work. He spoke Spanish and no one in the Vidal office was communicating with him, so he kept coming to me since I speak Spanish. So here I am trying to tell the office what kinds of materials he needs because they didn't order the correct type/amount. (This is guy #2, mind you.) They were super behind (the 2-week job took >6 weeks) so this guy slapped together the work so fast that TWO other trades people warned me his tile job was bad. They were right. Not 2 weeks later, the shower tile had cracks in multiple places. Immediately after they left, the floor tile creaks in a few places like it wasn't properly grouted underneath. The sealant on vanities (done by the same person!) cracked immediately also. Only one person (thank you, Wylie!) at that company actually tried to help me, and they had to bring him down from Dallas. The whole ordeal was just that - a tiresome, EXPENSIVE, ridiculous, time-sucking, ordeal that didn't even pay off in a bathroom I'm proud of. Oh, and I submitted all of this to them in my review to them, and got nothing in reply. Just don't go with these guys.Edit to address vendor's reply: Yes, there was an issue with the faucet, but that was due to the incorrect measurements taken at the beginning. Unfortunately, anything that was was "outside the scope" was due to issues from the handling of the job in the initial weeks, and outside the scope of things I could control for as the home owner. Yes, the owner came around week 3 or 4, which was appreciated. Yes, I told Wylie it looked good and I meant it, but I didn't realize how poor the tile job was underneath. The things you cannot see can cause the most trouble sometimes. Thank you for the reminder about the warrant.

Joey Vidal and his team were amazing from start to finish. After a couple of bad storms we had, I called him up to inspect the roof. He came out and with in hours we had a report of the damage. He helped us contact our insurance company, make a claim, and set up when we were going to have the repairs done. He even contacted advanced solar for us to arrange for them to take off the panels. After the work was done he sent us pictures of the new roof, cleaned up all the debris, and power washed the driveway. I would highly recommend using his services. They take all the headache and trouble out of dealing with the insurance company. Joey Vidal even helped us to get our solar converter replaced within 24 hours.

I am so thankful for Joey Vidal, of Vidal Construction, not only did he alert me that me garage was open yesterday, (he lives in my neighborhood), he also let me know that I had a couple of missing shingles on my roof. When I spoke with him yesterday, he said he would do a complimentary inspection of my roof!! I love how he takes pictures and video while on the roof to document any damage that he finds and sends it to you for your records. When I spoke with him later in the evening, he was very honest and helpful explaining the process. He told me that my roof was still in good condition and only needed to replace the missing shingles. As I am not in a financial position to replace my roof right now, I was so grateful for his honesty and integrity to not say I needed anything more! He told me he would send a couple of his crew members over today to replace the shingles and they did just that. I also appreciate that he sent updated photos with the new shingles and when I asked how much I owed him, he replied that it was on him and just to “pay it forward!” I have had many people do projects and services on my home and none have ever been this positive!! I called Vidal Construction after discovering a small leak in my roof. As a preventative measure and attempting to medigate the situation due to forecasted rains, I called and requested a repair inspection. I was called later that evening. Mr. Vidal temporarily repaired the leak the following day!!. Now, Mr. Vidal had no obligation as his company originally did not do my roof replacement as I could not reach my previous roof contractor. This is going above and beyond!! Joey Vidal is "tops". He has been professional and responsive throughout my hail claim. He has been a fantastic go-between between my and my insurance carrier, USAA. After the claims adjuster sent the initial paperwork on the claim, Joey noticed he had not included the removal of the solar panels. This was even after the adjuster and I had discussed this and that the panels were owned by me and not leased. Joey mad the contact needed to get the addition of the panels to the claim. I have nothing but praise for Joey, his office staff, and the workers.

We started the process of working with Vidal construction back in later May/early June of this year. Our roof was damaged in the hail storm and a claim was submitted to USAA. The roof was inspected by USAA and by Vidal construction. It was found to be damaged. Joey came over shortly afterwards and went over the entire process with us. He even provided locations to check various roof colors to help us make an informed decision. He is so on top of the process and explained everything. We were put on the list for replacement in September. During the entire time, Joey and his office kept in touch with us via phone and email. He was always quick to answer calls and explain anything that we didn’t understand or need clarification. When it came to the work, he was setting up himself and was at the house early the day of the work to supervise and assist as needed. He was able ti complete the job in one day and it looks wonderful. He and his company are wonderful to work with and we highly recommend him and his company. Thank you again Joey.

After meeting with several roofing companies, we called back USAA insurance. USAA recommended Vidal Construction Company for our roof replacement. Joey Vidal came out to our home and was polite and very professional. He started by getting to know us, our expectations and concerns.Joey asked questions that were spot on (he was listening to us); he explained the process from start to finish. He went over materials and recommended color selections for a perfect match. His thoroughness covered all our remaining questions and concerns. An appointment was made that day and to my surprise the owner of the company, Edwin Vidal, came out himself. He thouroughly explained the procedure and had worked with my insurance carrier many times. The roofing was put on by another contractor and since has gone out of business. I wanted to verify the roof was still good and no leaks.
