We recently had a storm cause damage to our roof. Since we are only 6 years into our new home, this was devastating for our family.We had several so called roofing companies soliciting in our neighborhood, but they all seemed to not get that this is our home. Not just a roof over our head. The folks at Stronghold Restoration and Roofing, in particular Mario B. stood out amongst the other companies. Mario took his time explaining the process and setting reasonable expectations for us. I can’t tell you how much this positive attention to detail and knowing the job is done right the first time really meant to us. Simply put, it gave us back our sense of security and knowing that it was actually going to be ok.In closing… let’s not forget the crew. These guys were awesome! Highly professional, polite, clean, and safe. Oh, did I mention that the work was completed in one day!!??Absolutely outstanding Stronghold! Thanks for the excellent service.

From the beginning when I was searching for roofers I started with the BBB narrowed it down to a few, stronghold was the only one that came through with follow-ups with professionalism with the straight forward contract and a quick start date after a rain delay they came to my house with a vengeance the work crew was large and the foreman was professional they attacked that roof and completed the work in 1 day to my amazement the clean up went well and they were gone. A short time later we had some shingles blow off because of high winds a call to Eric and he sent a man out and resolved the problem stuff happens so I can say as a homeowner that my experience was as smooth as replacing a roof could be even when the shingles blew off it was easily and timely fixed. So Stronghold is my roofing company from this point on I highly recommend their work and would recommend them you won't be disappointed.

Patrick gave us quote and a timeline for roof replacement and for painting the non-brick portions of the house. They accomplished exactly what they said they would do, and they did it in the time frame that was quoted. I am a very detail-oriented person and I expect quality work. Patrick and his crew did not let me down.My wife and I are extremely happy with the roof and the painting. The painters did an excellent job protecting our brick and our concrete. They also did a fantastic job of replacing any rotted facia board and they replaced all the old, outdated soffit vents with Hardie board soffit vent.We are extremely pleased with our new roof as well. Patrick went over all the details of the roof system that Stronghold Restoration installs including the way they install the waterproof barrier and the roof valley system. So glad that he did. Nick was very professional, prompt on answering questions for us and dealing with an insurance adjuster and Windstorm inspector. Everything was seamless from the beginning to the end. He literally took care of everything. His crew was also incredible. They were here before 7 AM on a Thursday and we’re finished by 3:30 PM the same afternoon. The project manager and crew did an excellent job with the installation and cleanup. We are very satisfied with results. I am writing this review less than 3 weeks after the first time Andres, my Stronghold Project Manager, first came to my home to provide a consultation. We filed a claim with my insurance company that day, had an adjuster out in two days, had my claim completely approved in less than 48 hours, and my new roof and AC unit have been successfully installed in what I am certain is record time. Andres assured me up front that I would never be asked to pay more than my deductible; if more money was required to complete the job, they’d work with the insurance company directly. In fact, we did have to submit a supplemental to the insurance company and he handled it completely. The outcome of that supplemental did not impact the quality of the work done on my home or completion of the project, which was reassuring. He also worked with my HOA & city to obtain the required approvals & permits. Any time I took a concern to Andres, his response was “That’s not your problem. I’ll handle it,” and he never let me down. I always knew what to expect and was never surprised or confused about where we were in the process. The foreman on site, Tommy, was genuinely friendly and concerned about my needs & comfort level with the work that was going on at my home and the crew was professional & obviously experts at their craft. And last but not least, they left my yard the way they found it, which is not only nice but important from a safety perspective. I would absolutely use Stronghold again and will share Andres’ business card every chance I get. I’m a little sad I won’t be seeing him around anymore! Super lucky to have Jason Sapp as my roofer and major helper! I had a fight with insurance when I needed a new roof after a tornado. Through every step, Jason advised me about possible choices and finally something worked! New roof in late Au bbeing ! Other repairs had to be made and Jason coordinated all of the repairs for me. He continually consulted me about my choices (materials, time for workers to come), and answered any questions I had, and respected me without being patronizing (very rare since I am a 72 year old female). His response time, even on weekends, was phenomenal. Nick Blackburn with Stronghold has been one of the best and easier contractors to work with. Extremely responsive, very thorough, very open about the process, and boy howdy the hustle that man has! From the time we got the free inspection to having a new roof was hardly a month. Nick communicated very efficiently and honestly the entire time. He navigated the process with insurance (TWIA) like very knowledgable and quickly. Working with Nick make the process extremely stress free. I don't want to forget the crew the came and completed the actual roof. They did an outstanding job. Very efficient and quiet (was not expecting that). Payton with Stronghold Roofing and Restoration did an awesome job assisting us with getting our roof replaced after a recent hail storm. Communication is great and he will make sure to follow up with your insurance agent to ensure you’re on the right track. The team started at 6:15am and completed the job just before sundown. They cleaned up very well. Wasn’t a fan of the paintwork on one of the flashings so Payton had someone come back out and address any concerns I had. Quality work overall.

Be careful with this company.recently I use this computer for my roof replacement. They told me they will change all drip edge they charge me for all drip edge. Beware of this company’s guerrilla-like sales tactics!! One of their agents, Andres, told us he’d give us a free roof inspection. My husband agreed to let him. Andres came down and showed us two pictures of a small dent in the shingle from a hail storm back in May. I mean, literally, TWO whole pictures. He then proceeds to start filling out paperwork without explaining to us what he’s doing and what for. Come to find out, he filed a report with TWI. Nothing was said that if approved by the insurance company, we’d need to get a new roof within 6 months or we’d lose our coverage. Nothing was said about how much it would cost. Nothing was explained about anything of the process. TWI ended up sending an inspector out, who was very professional and knowledgeable, and told us that besides those two dents in the two shingles, our roof was in very good condition and he’d be surprised if they approved the claim. He even warned me that we have a high deductible that we’d be responsible for. Somehow, TWI ended up approving our claim, telling us it would cost about $20K to replace, and that’s when Andres starts to hound my husband about getting the roof done and getting both of the checks from the insurance company, totaling about $10K. He never once gave my husband a quote or even a ballpark figure. He was just so adamant about getting both of the checks! It all smelled incredibly fishy. So we ended up getting some quotes from other local roofing contractors with actual $$ figures for the entire scope of the work needed to be done and found that most of them charge about half of what TWI estimates are. We went with one of those contractors (Achilles), who was professional and clear in his communication, and got our roof replaced for a fraction of the insurance estimate. The moral of this long story is that 1) if you went with stronghold, you got ripped off and way overpaid; and 2) stronghold, among a lot of other roofing companies, has figured out that TWI will pay out well, so they’re double charging for a roof replacement. Our total out of pocket cost for an entire roof replacement ended up being 68% cheaper than what our neighbors paid who went with stronghold. Shop around, get quotes from reputable contractors and always verify everything you’re told with multiple professional sources. We certainly learned our lesson.

Brian and on-site crew were outstanding. Professional, efficient and they do excellent work. Unfortunately I cannot say that about Andrew and the front office. Fifteen days to cash a check is not acceptable. Mr. Balusek (owner) may need to retrain his office staff, or at least the person who handles the cash flow or replace them with someone who can handle the front desk. Money order next time....

Payton Abernathy stopped by our house after a tornado and hail storm in Cypress. He found some roof damage and helped me contact my home insurance to file a claim. He came out when the insurance adjuster came to inspect the roof damage and the adjuster found enough damage to justify replacing the roof.As a recent first time home buyer, Payton helped throughout the whole claim process. I was a bit nervous, as this was the first claim I've had to do on the house and its not a small claim. Payton answered all of the questions I had whether it was in person, on the phone, or a text message. He was very knowledgeable, responsive, and professional.When the roof was installed, the crew was on time, quick and cleaned up really thoroughly. I only found a few nails which is surprising. Payton had to schedule someone out to paint the metal flashings and double check the work since it rained right after they completed the roof. Payton went above and beyond on for our roof replacement. Our insurance company filed for bankruptcy during our claim process and Payton followed up with us regularly with where we were in the process. He was able to track down the new company that took over all existing claims and find a contact person to get the process restarted. Payton was very professional and attentive to details. The crew that replaced the roof showed up exactly at the time we were told weeks prior. They covered everything close to the house with tarps and moved what could be moved.
