We had used Houser before for a small repair to our home roof and they did a great job and this time we needed a lot of repairs to our metal roofed barn. Jeff came out and reviewed what needed to be done and did a thorough walk-through with me. He even pointed out some items we had not initially noticed that needed repair. He was up front about the costs and went above & beyond in delivering the final results. The work was done very timely and on budget. We are very happy to support this local company and will definitely use them when it comes time to replace the roof on our home.

We love our new roof!We needed a new roof and contacted a couple of companies that serve our area, Washington County. We had a lot of questions when comparing the bids. Jeff Kent with Houser Roofing answered, outlining the differences between materials and warranties. He was knowledgeable and patient with our questions and offered many excellent suggestions.We contracted with Houser Roofing and the job was done in one day. The 8 man crew was on time, professional, polite, and task focused. It was impressive watching them work together to complete the project. The crew did a thorough clean-up and, when they left, you couldn’t even tell they had been onsite. We’re most pleased with every aspect of the Houser process and the roof looks great. Hello everyone,I wanted to take a few moments to share a truly great experience I had with Houser Roofing recently when my family going through a tough time.My father had to be admitted to a nursing home in early March due to dementia, leaving my mom to handle all the home duties my dad normally would have taken care of.One morning on April 29th, after storms hit Wharton County, my mom called crying saying she a had a roof leak, and did not know what to do or who to call, so I told her I would help.Her insurance company is a well known outfit, but due to the COVID-19 , they could not send anyone out to look at her house, and said we should try to get someone to do it and basically get their work going for them.This was not what I expected, and to try to find someone to do this, I was scared was going to be another charge or hassle I did not want to have to deal with since I am located in Houston and my mom is in El Campo.I called one other roofer who did not seem to be interested, so I got off the phone and said a little prayer for help.I then googled roofers again and "Houser Roofing" came up and I gave them a call.Travis called me right away and asked how he could help,I explained the situation to him, and from that time on, he took over with a "no problem" and he headed out that way that day after he finished up another job.Let me tell you,, the roof he was replacing on my mom's house was an old roof nailed onto the original roof back when they used Cedar shingles, it was to be an ugly job , but Travis never once blinked, he told me what to expect and he took good care of my mom and her worries.She never had to do something like this and with my dad gone, it was pretty scary for her.For me I was struck by how professional he was and everything we discussed , he followed up on, communicated with the insurance company, and was 'Johnny on the Spot" through out all of this.The roofing supplies arrived the day before and then they got started the next day.Today, the house looks FANTASTIC!!The did a great job and and all the way to the edges, everything is just what I wanted.Also they cleaned up the area around the house spic & span, left no nails or anything, except for the new roof you would never know anyone had been out there.The price was a lot lower that what I was expecting for the work, but again, the professionalism, the caring , and responsiveness was rare to find these days.I just wish I would have used Houser Roofing back in 2016 when I replaced my own roof.If you are in need of replacing your roof, I highly recommend giving Travis at Houser Roofing a call.Thanks Travis to you & your Team !!

5 different requests for bid and Travis was our favorite by far. Came out and measured the 4,000 sf of 3 layered roof with a combination of roof lines as well as wood and asphalt shingles with a lot of rotten decking.Travis was able to secure a good finance program and a start time despite all the recent rain we have had. We chose Houser Roofing because of Travis' courteous and truly caring demeanor.The team showed up and stripped the old roof off, replaced the bad decking and installed new shingles in 2 days. There was 7 different rooflines, gardens all the way around and three decks to work around (and the soft, muddy yard for the dump trailer).Thank you Houser Roofing (and Travis) for fixing our old and leaky roof, completely changing the look of the neighborhood. Two years ago I bought a one hundred year old farmhouse, and in that time I've had to deal with all sorts of construction companies. Remodelers, home levelers, painters, a/c repair, plumbers, electricians, you name it and I've probably had to use them. Houser roofing was by far the easiest one I've had the pleasure of working with.I had a roof issue where an addition to the house was leaking so severely that it was causing the drywall on the ceiling to split and buckle. I had three different roofing companies come out to take a look and none of them knew exactly what was wrong with it, they just advised that they could tear that section of the roof up and figure it out when they got in there.Jeff from Houser Roofing came to inspect it and had it figured out in fifteen minutes. An hour later he had a quote for me and by lunch time he had a whole team working on the repair. The job was done by the end of the day.The repair was completed in November and six months later I haven't had any issues at all, so they really did a fantastic job. From the initial call to the follow up once job was complete, no complaints. Jeff and crew handled the job professionally and ON TIME. Hard to find a balance of both with many contractors but they got it. They made sure my needed repairs were taken care of and addressed other issues that would be problematic later on. Update - I received a phone call from Dustin after I posted this review. He vowed to make things right, and he replaced the plants that were damaged by the crew. Jeff delivered the plants personally. I am pleased with how the issue was resolved.Pros: Roof looks great and was completed in one dayCons: The crew showed no regard for my landscaping and put their ladder directly on top of two of my shrubs. The ladder could have easily been moved six inches in either direction to avoid destroying my plants. I complained but it was laughed off. We purchased a new house and the inspection noted the roof was in poor repair. Jeff Kent gave us a detailed and thorough inspection and provided the best quote for a replacement roof. Additionally he provided great recommendations to improve air circulation in the attic while also providing better aesthetics with the installation of a solar vent fan. He's honest and works tirelessly to make customers happy. I've always received quick responses from him and he delivered on everything he promised. Jeff made this project run very smoothly.Houser Roofing delivered all high quality roofing material that they recommended to me. The installers worked very efficiently and meticulously to install a durable leak free shingle roof. These are very skilled workers who would only hand nail all of my new shingles to assure that the nails are coming into my decking at the right depth. Their Certainteed Select Shingle Master certification assures you that they are well trained installers. The installers kept the work area tidy from debris. Before they left, all old roofing material, nails, or any waste were picked up and disposed from my property just the way my house was before the started the project. I had damage to my garage roof when a huge portion of a palm tree fell on the corner. I was giving Houser roofing‘s name from a neighbor. They came out promptly, gave me an estimate and planned to do the job on Saturday. He called and said they were available to do the job on Friday, they came very promptly, worked diligently and finished the work in three hours. Jeff Kent went over and above their services by even repairing a few boards on my worn out deck. Highly recommend this company and especially Jeff. So we bought a new house in June. The first big rain we had a few weeks ago and, of course, the roof leaked - on a Friday...My wife posted (I'm not sure where, maybe Facebook?) and 2 companies responded pretty quickly. The first company came out and looked at it and suggested a course of action, then Jeff from Houser came out and suggested a different course (more thorough and more expensive). He walked me through his thinking and what he recommended made more sense. He was professional and courteous (and didn't mind questions).On Tuesday, his crew came out and performed what was a reasonably extensive repair quickly and expertly. It turns out the repair the first company recommended would not have actually solved the problem (turns out there were leaks originating from multiple locations).We've had several big rains since, and the problem is, indeed solved. Replaced our shingle roof with a metal roof. Dustin Houser came out to our house and gave us an estimate and a contract. Dustin and Casey both were always available for questions and scheduling. Awesome crew came out headed by Alonzo to do the work. Easy to communicate with, very professional and polite. Took the old roof off, cleaned up everything, came back next day and installed metal roof. Cleaned up everything after installation very nicely. Took 3 days including taking the old roof off. It looks amazing and would definitely recommend them!

Highly recommend Houser Roofing service! After having a week of straight rain in the Houston area, we found out we had a leak not only in our fireplace, but also on the roof. The damage on the roof caused a leaked into the attic. Over time, this caused partial damage to the an area of ceiling. Jeff Kent was our Roof Specialist and walked us step by step what was damaged and how the damage had occurred. He was honest, and we appreciated that!Understanding the weather was barring the team from completing the repairs, an emergency patch was done to mitigate any more damage from occurring. Travis handled everything!! He did the inspection and met with our adjuster. Jeff was great to work with, when I called to get a quote Jeff was quick to come out to my house to get measurements for the quote. I believe it was the next day he came out, maybe even same day- he then made an appointment with me and came out on the weekend to go over the process with me in person. Jeff came out again to show me samples to ensure I got the best color form my house. I’ve never had to get a roof, so I put a lot of trust in him to make sure that everything was taken care of.
