Thus far, thoroughly impressed with this business, & its proprietors. I'm approaching this from a different angle, than some folks. I am a single individual, a first time home OWNER, the catch 22? It's my childhood home. I tend to be very analytical, and at times inquisitive, and I am intensely frugal. From the very beginning, following my initial call to the company,, Gregg, & Cody, have came through for me. I don't mean that in a good ole boy southern speak kinda' way. I'm not a fan of that style of delivery, & there are indeed some, ahem, people, cough, cough, that work for -other- roofing companies (NO, not the one which starts with a B, nor the one that starts with a P, they're cool), but as a southern born female, I can pretty much discern a sales intention, when I am seeing it. (Yes, I did work in customer service, myself, & in sales, for gosh, approx 15yrs between Texarkana, and a much larger, growing city, Austin.).Gregg and Cody did not, emphatically not, BS me. Rather than cast doubt as to if my insurer would even cover my entire roof & then some....we simply took it one step at a time, & after I received my estimate--I set about carrying out the other even more important steps.I really did, & still DO appreciate the courtesy that was extended to me, and patience(remember I mentioned I"m essentially a first time home owner, ikr!) with my various questions whether they were naive in nature, or grounded, it didn't matter---& inquiring is part of my processing and my learning, because I tend to analyze things as I come down to my final decision. If I can not personally arrive at a decision I am comfortable with, then I won't proceed. Things have to be cohesive, & sensible for me. Also, I have a budget to follow, an extremely skimpy budget, however I do keep my home insurance paid up which made all the difference in the world, at least currently it does(changes coming down the pipeline, regarding major companies appear, imo opinion to be very harsh, in favor of shareholders not customers, and that in itself, makes me even more proud that I"m squared away, ROOF-wise).Basically I've surpassed the 3rd full day, of having my brand new architectural shingle roof, along with my 3rd day of having a ridge vent. Goodbye & good riddance to my rusty turbines, and the epic fail electric turbine that failed so very many years ago, almost from day one.The real test of things will be to see if the external workmanship, and quality I see with my naked eye (no illusions here...) follows through and holds up. I chose #OverTheTopRoofingandGutter for the products it uses in its work, for the fact that they nail, by hand, the shingles, and I chose them, too, for their sheer earnestness and caring. It heartens & reassures me, that...be it 5 days, weeks, or months, or even upwards of 5 years, that I can count on Over the Top Roofing & Gutter, a its two proprietors, Gregg and Cody, to be there for my roof, and likewise, me. Already they've addressed whatever qualms and/or questions I've had. Overall, that's a trait that I know I can rely on. Since I'm reviewing this company pretty much straight out of the starting gate, I will make note to come back for updating, and along the way, will likely edit a bit, here and there, but the jist of the review will remain the same. I don't gloss over things, in reviews, I am earnest, and I do leave reviews, for large entities at sites such as trustpilot. Furthermore, due to my reviews, as I've shopped at Amazon's selling platform, they actually extended an invite to become one of their Vine Voice reviewers, henceforth I've written over two hundred reviews, and counting. If I sense, and then encounter smoke and mirrors when it comes to a company, or its products, I am point blank in addressing the issues I come into, as well as actual faults, not just opinionated, perceived faults I allege. I am very glad, & pleased, at this time, March 17th, 2023, that I chose Over The Top Roofing & Gutter.Services: Roof inspection, Attic venting, Roof installation, Gutter cleaning, Attic venting installation

1. The roof that was installed on my house leaks after 2 mts.2. Failed to install new drip edge3. Did not replace missing drip edge.4. Large gaps where the porch roof meets the gable roof allowing wind and weather to get underneath.5. Shingles do not lay flay6. Missing Shingles under window on second floor.I initially called to express the problems and cody came out, attempteded to tell me nothing was wrong until he discovered I knew what I was talking about, said they would be back to fix it, 4 weeks later they finally show up and blame the leak on my chimney. Without question the worst craftsmanship and customer service I have ever seen, I am paying to have another roof put on because I doubt this will survive the spring, these folks should be ashamed of themselves.
