It’s more of an experience, it’s not just food. Our 4-course meal was delicious and well-matched. The ambiance takes you to a French-inspired Texas Hill Country vibe. All 4 in our party were impressed and definitely enjoyed the 2 1/2 hours we spent here. We enjoyed the tastefully designed interior of the restaurant as well as all of the eclectic items outside. Unfortunately, I enjoyed the outside decor so much that I forgot to take pictures.

My husband and I both love to cook and are often disappointed when eating out. That wasn’t the case here! This was probably one of the best meals we’ve ever had and for a more than fair price! From appetizer, entree to dessert I would not change ANYTHING. Just call and make a reservation, you won’t regret!

Reservation only! Five course dinner at The Laurel Tree by Head Chef Laurel Waters. The entire place was beautifully decorated with nutcrackers, evergreens, soft lights, red bows, and humongous Christmas ornaments hanging from the tree house. It was a romantic getaway for two food lovers. I'd have to say the appetizer and soup course stole the show for me. However, the overall experience/company outweighed the taste and cost of the meal.

An absolutely amazing experience! The food was wonderful and is beyond compare. You could tase every flavor of the incredibly fresh ingredients. Each course was thoughtfully put together and had flavors that were quite complimentary. We weren't sure what to expect but all I can say is that we we're all blown away. Service was impeccable and the hospitality was overflowing. We had a lovely time exploring the grounds between courses on the gorgeous day we visited and left feeling speechless! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

This place is reservation only and is only open on Saturdays for lunch and dinner. 4 course meal (this was for lunch) at a set price (with option of one out of two entrees). They will ask about dietary preferences to accomodate guests. I've been here 3 times and the menu was always different. Food is always excellent and the ambience is warm and cozy.

Came here today and all I can say is WOW. Everything was outstanding. The food was delicious and melted in your mouth. My dad and I are very picky eaters and we liked it here. Service was great. The best part is the treehouse and decorations!

This is such a nice little place to visit on weekends! The tree house requires you to make a reservation ahead of time with rental fee! There is a restaurant building with couple of tables next to the treehouse. Everything served was so fresh, and amazing. Manager said that the menus change every season. We really enjoyed the visit!!

Food is very good. Service is excellent.This was my second visit, 1st time was in the main restaurant, this time in the treehouse. Visits were almost 10 months apart. My vegetarian meal was exactly the same (no variation, no choices. Regular - non-vegetarian has 2 choices).Is it worth the $49 prix fix Dinner? Yes.Is it worth the $300 "Treehouse experience" plus the $49/plate price? No.

This is my FAVORITE place to eat! The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is just perfect! I highly recommend it. I've gone here for many special occasions, and I've NEVER been disappointed! :) Laurel and her staff at the restaurant offer amazing customer service for a beautiful, relaxing, and unique dining experience! Check out the awesome treehouse dining room, built by the Treehouse Masters, and take a stroll on the lovely grounds before or after you eat. :)

I was wow-ed! Owner Chef, Laurel, has created a place of such charm and ambience that its hard to describe. My sweetheart booked the treehouse restaurant 4 months ago, and it was perfect for dinner and conversation with friends. The food was amazing, delicious and every bit as creative as the decor.

My wife and I celebrated our 50th anniversary with a "second honeymoon" trip to the Texas hill country. The Laurel Tree was an excellent choice for our anniversary dinner. This is truly a "destination event" with beautiful grounds and so much to see and enjoy. You should allow at least an hour to tour the grounds, they are very special. The owner chef, Lauren was very conscientious and helped us personally, answering questions when we were in the planning phase. She also personally visited everyone's table during the meal. The five course dinner was excellent "southern gourmet" fare with no expense spared on the food or the preparation. We provided our own Lost Maples Vineyard's "POLVADEAU VIN SYMPHONIQUE" wine. It was an anniversary gift that was the perfect pairing with our dinner selection of shrimp, jumbo crab, artichoke heart and 3 cheese gratin. Overall, an unforgettable meal for an unforgettable anniversary getaway. Thank You Lauren and the Laurel Tree staff.

Beautifully-decorated restaurant; gorgeous grounds; yummy food. The owner is personable and welcoming. It's a relaxing experience and a memorable place to spend some time.Our only complaint was the coffee. With all the fabulous Texas coffee roasters, Laurel Tree needs to 'up their game' and offer gourmet coffee. Our coffee tasted like store-bought, cheap coffee (disappointing). Besides that, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.It's worth taking the time to go to this charming restaurant.

Beautiful amazing experience... Made our anniversary even more special. I have never tasted food so amazing. I can't wait to go back! They must have taken that coffee comment to heart because it was amazing coffee with cream and a cute coffee cookie. Nothing disappointed and the staff is so lovely.

You will not believe the atmosphere of this amazing gem, tucked away in the Hill Country! Laurel sets the tone by her own natural graciousness and hospitality. Laurel's staff is equally friendly and welcoming. The food is exceptional. Be sure to plan ahead and make a reservation. Take a peek at the amazing (Nelson) treehouse in her courtyard and reserve it, if you can, for an exceptional dining experience! Even in the main dining area, you will feel like you have stepped into another world. She's only open on Saturdays for lunch and dinner, so plan accordingly. Great food, great company and a beautiful setting.
