Rooms were nice and clean~ (I will note one of the lights did short out, the shower curtain was quite thin that water does bead up on the other side, and the toilet didn't stop running)However the breakfast was your expected continental breakfast and there were even gluten-free options 😌The beds felt so nice too~✨ super soft and so refreshing 💕 we saved money booking through a third party app, and because we were checking in at like 3AM, the staff were kind enough to give my family and I an extra hour to check out!After calling every single hotel in this town, they literally were the only ones who would even work with us. Customer service was so amazing and made absolutely everything about our stay better! (Even the small things that were weird about the bathroom lol)

The king room, bed, couch were much better than expected, and reasonable, but I got bit by something overnight Apr 9-10, room 117. (On upper arm and behind knee.) I let them know and got a discount.I didn't search for bugs, because I needed to get back on the road. I put everything in black garbage bags in the sun when I got home and am putting all fabric through the dryer on high heat.

Hubby and I got tired driving and decided we needed to get a hotel room. We stopped in Van Horn, Texas and tried 3 hotels before going to Quality Inn. The first hotel had a broken elevator and the only rooms available were upstairs. I’m in a wheelchair so that didn’t work. The guy at that front desk called the hotel next door, but they were sold out. The third hotel was sold out also. We went to Quality Inn and prayed they had a room. The staff was fabulous. They were getting breakfast ready. Manager gave us a discount and told us we did not have to check out at 11:00 since it was almost 6:00 when we checked in. Their service was excellent. The hotel is older, but the service makes up for it. We had a nice rest and thanked Amy at front desk again for their fabulous service when we checked out.

We come through Van Horn twice a year to go to San Antonio. Today we booked with quality inn and Sarah was at the front desk. She was so helpful and so kind. Very welcoming! She knew who I was before I could even tell her and she greeted me with such a sweet smile! I will be coming back in the summer on our way to SA just because of her kindness! Thank you Sarah for a welcoming friendly smile!Rooms: The rooms are very clean and comfortable.Walkability: There is Mc Donald’s for food walking distance.

It was a necessity to stay for a rest before getting back on the road. Filthy. Non-smoking room that had cigarette burns on the bed linens and smelled like a smoking room. Off the freeway, so the road noise isn't their fault, but there were construction workers there for the night who occupied rooms who-knows-where, but chose to shoot the breeze outside our room and in the stairwell for a good portion of the night. Doesn't feel like a safe place. Just time it/plan accordingly if you're on a road trip to not end up west of San Antonio in need of lodging - drive on because there's not much in Van Horn.

Bathroom had black mold above shower head, dirty hairy floor around toilet and behind door. Old coffee pod left in coffee maker, stain on bedspread and make up stain on wash cloth. For $90 I expect clean. Good point is the fridge/freezer. My husband has a medication which most stay cold. We were able to refreeze our gel packs and store medication in the fridge overnight. Good breakfast!

Horrible experience. No front desk person you have to get a room via their kiosk tge gentleman did not speak english clearly. After the 3rd time of telling him I could not understand him we left. Absolutely ridiculous!! There was a woman there at the front desk trying to interpret for me. She said sorry I can't help you they want everyone to use this. They can do it WITHOUT me!

The staff was very friendly! The breakfast was very good! The bed was really nice! The room was somewhat clean. The pool, a joke! Don’t let the website pictures fool you. May 29 and no water in the pool, even though a month ago management posted a picture of a full, clean pool. Attached are the pictures I took this morning before checking out. The only ice machine on the property was out of order.

Clean, quiet, safe. I was looking for a hotel farther from the freeway to park my loaded car with a roof rack. I was able to park between two larger rigs which kept my car hidden. As a single traveler, I’m used to staying in hotels, but I was perfectly satisfied with this stay at the Quality Inn, and would return if needed. Comfortable bed and bedding, hot water, clean towels. Coffee okay. All necessary amenities were present. Thank you!Safety: Farther from the freeway, nice cars in parking lot— a lot of big pickups.

DECEPTIVE guy at front desk!!! We booked a room with a king bed. When we got to the room it had 2 queens. We went back and talked with the guy and he said" I don't have any rooms with king beds so I gave you two queens beds for the same rate." NOTE-2 queens beds are cheaper on their website. When I told him that queen beds won't work because my husband is 6'5", ironically he found us an available room with a king bed. Thankful he put us in the room we booked but highly dissatisfied with the deception! The room itself was comfortable, but won't go back because truly you won't know what you're really getting. Felt like a "bait and switch" until we stood our ground and wouldn't accept what he was trying to give us!

Third class hotel. Never stay at this Hotel. Owner is Indian. GM is Indian. People working there are not educated. They do not understand what is the meaning of reservation.I booked room for my associate on 9-26-2023 for one night. I called them and confirmed. They said room was booked. When my associate arrived. They told they gave my room to somebody else who just walked inn.. How can they do this? My associate had to drive 100 miles at night where it was raining. I am asking my compensation in terms of money for the inconvenience caused. I had to spend about 3 hours to find another room at 9 pm in evening. Sahil Arora who is GM was very rude and cunning. I am registering a legal case against Sahil and his owner .I have all my calls recorded for what he said. I do not need compensation in form of points, reward's or discount. Sahil agreed to me that he would give money . I asked him his owner number. He was speech less. He was very rude.

$110 for a dirty 2 bed room, vents were gross, beds were frim (subjective) the hairblower didn't even work in the bathroom. Water pressure was good Overall pretty gross for what you pay for. The printer in the lobby does not work, had to ask the guy at the desk to print a park pass for us. Go to a super 8 instead and save the money. Oh also the pool is drained and unavailable.

Can't ask for much given the price. The room was clean but surprisingly, the best part was the view of the mountains. The only thing I disliked was that the clock on the hotel was not working and I was going off the time on my phone, which was wrong. I missed breakfast and I was a little mad because of that.Noteworthy details: Scenery is pretty with the mountains in the background.

Just wanted to leave a good review for the Quality Inn located in Van Horn TX. The hotel was very easy to find as it is located right of the frontage rd. off of I-10. Nice clean rooms at a decent price. The breakfast was decent and the staff were very friendly. I know I have 1 bad review for quality inn at another location, however this one is a good one, Everyone remember to leave good reviews too, not just the angry ones. I wish I would have taken pictures sorry everyone.
