VAS was a life saver. Was working on some renovations that I thought I could handle on my own. Was able to get the drywall hung but when I went to start taping and floating, I knew I was in over my head. I reached out to VAS and a few other general contractors to get quotes. Victor and Angela swung by the house that afternoon, evaluated what needed to be done, and then offered up a fair quote and I agreed. Very easy and friendly process.Victor, Pablo, and Rick started the work and absolutely knocked it all out of the park. They were very professional and helpful, and I was very satisfied with their work once they were completed. I would indeed recommend them to friends and family in need of general contractor work, and am actually hiring them again this week for another project I am wanting to get knocked out.5/5 would and will use again.

Had drywall cracks throughout my home after having it leveled and contacted VAS. Paul did great work and did a good job of communicating throughout the process of the work. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for drywall work.

We used Victor & Angela (VAS Contracting) for a major renovation of our home in Port O’Connor.We bought the house early this year (2023) and originally intended to just “freshen it up” a little and make it work. However, the more we tore into it, the more we realized that we needed to just take it down to the studs and start over. We contacted a couple of local contractors and just didn’t get a good feeling. We expanded our search to Victoria and lucked upon VAS.From the beginning they took the time to understand our wants and came up with a plan that we liked.3 months later we have what we dreamed about. I highly recommend VAS. We were upfront about previous bad experiences with work done from another company and what our expectations were and Victor understand, reassured us and showed up. We were doing a complete remodel of a 1929 home, so plenty of challenges. We started with contracting out the drywall, then added flooring and tile work. VAS came in and got the job done, saving us time. We will be using VAS for future projects. Victor and Angela have solid work ethics which is getting difficult to find. Moved back to Victoria several months ago. Bought a house with previous garage conversion. Needed to convert / update the conversion into a studio apartment. I could not have found a better team. From the day of the initial walk-through and bid to completion the team was professional, courteous, educational when needed, excellent communicators. They not only bring expertise they also bring integrity. They truly treat the job as if it was their own home.They removed/replaced old drywall, painted, remodeled down to the studs in some areas to expand the space as much as possible, replaced flooring, repaired poor plumbing from previous job, completely gutted and rebuilt the bathroom, replaced/repaired windows and doors. I was living and working in the house at the time, and they did an excellent job of minimizing disruptions. I was as informed as I needed to be - no more, no less.I would recommend them to everyone. I’m so happy I decided to go with VAS Contracting for our home repairs after a roof leak and lots of interior damage done. We own a home in Texas but live in California so we really rely on contractors to be honest and have integrity, and I felt that they did every step of the way. Their initial estimate was much lower than another reputable company I was considering, so I asked them to give me a more detailed breakdown of the estimate, which they did without hesitation so that I could compare apples-to-apples. They were honest and upfront, and I couldn’t believe how quickly the repairs were completed with such a beautiful result. Victor texted me pictures and updates all along the way, and the owner Angela was very personable and down-to-earth. They worked with what I needed and were willing to talk me through the various options and never made me feel like a bother. This is how good business is done! Thank you!

We had a company back out on us to remove our attic insulation putting us in a huge bind as it was working on timing with electricians, ac, sheetrock and others. We called VAS and they were on top of it! From service with a smile to professionalism! We were impressed with their process of getting us a bid and contract that day in a folder with all their contact info! They started working the next day, kept us in communication on time lines of the project and did a fantastic job during days with extreme heat! Thank you to VAS Contracting for doing a great job on my Laundry Room. I had a leak in the ceiling from a busted pipe due to the freeze we had last February, VAS came in and did a great job in replacing the sheet rock, painting, fixed the leaky pipe and replaced ceiling fans. They were so good to work with that I hired them for two more jobs at our home (interior painting & built a bathroom in our shop) and my husband hired them for some work at his business. These were all turn-key jobs I didn't have to sub contract anything - they did everything! Plumbing, electrical, construction - all of it. With other quotes I got I would have had to deal with multiple contractors. VAS's crew was here on time every day and some days stayed late and stayed on schedule. I've had trouble with previous contractors not showing up on time and dragging out the project; this is not the case with VAS which is really important to us. We hired VAS to come look at and repair our skylight that was leaking and causing mold. The owner had come out himself to give us an estimate and let us know our options. After some very informative information he gave us, we decided to just close it up all together and be done with it. We scheduled the job and the guys showed up early morning on time and were very polite and respectful. They kept communication with us the whole time and let us know each step they were taking. In two days they finished and we can’t even tell there was ever a giant hole with a skylight. AMAZING job! We will definitely be using them for any further remodels.
