Master Tex sent Julian to our home to fix a water leak under our pier and beam home. He arrived earlier than the actual scheduled time as per our request. He was terrific. Polite, efficient and knowledgeable. The work was done quickly and he cleaned up after the job very well. We are most happy with the entire experience we had with Master Tex and Julian. Satisfied Customer - Highly Recommend MasterTexI have delt with defective water heaters more times than I can count and, the plethora of issues that come with trying to find an honest pluming company that is focused on customer satisfaction rather than making the most profit from a customer in distress.Well, I am here to say that my first experience with MasterTex will not be my last. From first contact to project completion, they were fair and honest about product selection, pricing and scheduling. That was followed up by delivering a fixed-price quality service, on-time with a thorough post cleanup. All said and done, our lives were back on-line with running hot water in just over 90 minutes. It was a good day!

My problem was tree roots growing into our main drain line. MasterTex sent two younger guys to give an estimate to repair the issue. Both were professional, knowledgeable, personable and got right to the task at hand. They ran the camera thru the pipes to show me the exact problem and gave recommendations to solve the issue. They were helpful but unfortunately, we are unable to get the repair completed by them due to cost. As far as personnel and representatives for this company, we were very pleased with the service provided.

Our hot water heater started leaking the day before we were supposed to leave for vacation. Connor and his crew came in and installed a new tankless hot water heater the same day so we could start our vacation as scheduled with no worries about any issues at the house. MasterTex was able to come out very quickly to deal with a broken pipe in our front yard. It was a big, messy job, but they were very capable of handling it. I appreciated the clear communication at each step, from diagnosing the problem and providing an estimate to the final repair. Our water was restored within hours even in less than great weather.

Connor was very responsive and gave me a fair quote to replace my 50-gallon water heater. One estimate I received from a big commercial company quoted me anywhere from $2900 upwards to $8600, totally trying to rob me to meet sales quotas and to take advantage when you are in a vulnerable place where the water heater has to be replaced. Connor sent his crew to my home within 2 days and got my water heater replaced in a timely manner.Service: Water heater installation

Connor and team showed up at 9 am on a snow day in Dallas after calling at 8 am. These days are busy as fewer companies are able to get on the road. If you have another choice/plumber, then just avoid this guy/company, especially if you have a big job such like a Tankless Water Heater Installation . This guy ( Connor Kingsley) has a big mouth and convinced power but has a very poor knowledge of plumbing. I was convinced by his big mouth and hired him with a written contract for replacing Water Heater System with Navien Tankless Water Heater Installation (materials & labors), & for a Standing Bath Tub Installation (Labor only) with the amount of $4,500.00. Then they messed our floor and bath tub but was not able to install the tub. They called here & there for help but at the end they failed to install it. Then he tried to established that this plumbing line is not supporting for this tub, so, he has to run another pipe and to support it, which will required additional $2,500.00, which I declined because I have already lost confidence on him. Then he installed the Navien Water Heater and left without testing. He said that to run the water heater system, he has to disconnect the existing heating line and to do that need additional charge of $250 or $500, I forgot exact amount. But this disconnection should be including the replacing water heater system but he asked for more money. Anyway, he collected $4,000.00 for water heater installation and gave me $500.00 credit since he failed to install bath tub and he left right way as he had a hurry, and promised me that he will be back next week and will run and test the system. Anyway, meanwhile, I call another Plumber and install the standing bath tub for minimal charge, and at the same time, disconnected the existing heater connection without any additional charge. Then I called/texted Connor and told him that we have installed standing bath tub by an individual plumber. He was very surprised and asked me for a picture with running water. I sent him picture. Then I asked him when he could come for the water heater testing. Now he asked me whether if we are giving him other job that may need outside gas line. I say, just finished the current job and we will talk later for future job. He knew that I lost confidence on him, so, asked for future job. Then he never showed up for testing and running the water heater system. I called and texted him many times but he did not come. I even told him that I may seek for an attorney which eventually I will when I have some free times. At the end I had to request another plumber to finish his unfinish job. Also, before signing the contract, he say, they are the Master Plumber which I believe, is not true either. By the way, I asked my other plumber, how much would he charge for installation of Tankless Water Heater. He says $700 for labor including installation, run, testing, etc. And Navien unit price is $1,400. Now you can math it. So he over charged $1,900.00 than other plumber charged for this job but NEVER COMPLETED THE JOB. Very Sad!!

Charged 700$ to fix a leaky joint, plus an upcharge for them choosing to put a ball valve in. Left a huge hole in the ground on a rental property (hazard), left the actual discarded pieces of old and new pipe from the job and drinking cups from the workers. When asked to come clean up their work, response was “we are very busy and our office is in Rockwall. Our service was to repair a leak so if you could get your yard guy to do it that would be great”. Too far and busy to complete the job but not to start it and collect payment.Recommend only booking jobs big enough for them to care and big enough for their base prices to make sense since pricing does not include cleaning up after themselves or filling any holes they dig.

I had the suspicion of a possible outdoor leak in my water meter box due to various reasons, including the fact that there was a leak repair done last year. I called Connor to come out and check it out for me. He was SUPER responsive. During his check, he was very communicative and transparent for the cost of the tests I was requesting for him to do. They are scammers. Save your money and stay away. The owner tried to intimidate me into paying him hundreds of dollars for just asking for a quote. Lied about city permit process for gas line repair to force me to hire him. Worst experience of hiring any plumbing company ever.
