For a small town lumber yard, this one is great. The employees are friendly and helpful. They are nearby. I usually find what I am looking for and at a competitive price with the lumber stores 15-20 miles from my house. I can choose my own lumber. Someone will help load my order. They have hand sanitizer and masks available for customers.

I own and operate a local plumbing company. I can't tell you the number of times we visit Foxworth weekly. All their staff is very friendly and helpful. Myself and my plumbing crew are always appreciative of their efforts in helping us.

Love this place - their pricing on wood is extremely competitive. Dealing with almost everyone there is awesome, just don't deal with Dora. Ask for Rusty, if he's not available, get anyone else or even come back at a later time.EDIT: let's take it down a couple of stars. I would give 5 stars, but the Dora thing just keeps happening... If you ever have to deal with Dora, just go to 84 Lumber in Denton, Ace, really anywhere but Foxworth-Galbraith in Whitesboro. She will not use the computer, she will reschedule an already scheduled delivery, etc...EDIT EDIT: Rusty, Aaron, and the other guys are the best. They will definitely take care of you. Please, don't deal with Dora. If I could give individual stars I would.

Jae’s act of kindness made me aware of how selfish I am.I was having a bad day.With a pluming disaster. I was waiting in check out line with my parts. The guy in front of me was checking out. He was on crutchesCarrying a water heater pan. All I was thinking was speed up. I have to get back and get my job done.Then Jae the girl behind the counter did something that changed my day. She asked the guy if she could cary the item out for him. He refused then she headed for the door. I thought where is she going I need to get out of here. She went to hold the door open for him.At that point I realized how selfish I am and how nice Jae really was.It was not just holding the door it was her attitude. A + customer service!!!

Can't believe this store is still open, it's a joke. Only go there out of desperation and it never fails, they never have what I need. Went their for some duct tape, but no such luck . You would think that a store of this size would have duct tape. Was told in a rather harsh way if it's not on the shelf we don't have it. Went to grocery store next door, they had it.In response to your response. I'll assure you that that incident did take place but was several years back. It has stuck with me since. For a more recent encounter that took place in Dec. just 2 months back, I was in a bind, needed 2-1/2" pipe clamps, 1" sheet rock screws. Same thing, no clamps. Was told by a guy @ back counter that nobody uses 2-1/2" clamps so we don't carry them. I responded I find it odd that Lowes or Home Depot has dozens of these. He came back with and I quote "well I can't speak for them we just don't carry them".So insinuating that I'm making this up is wrong. These are only the cases I can readily remember. There has been numerous over the years.

If they happen to have what you need, they are very nice folks. The main problem is their very limited hours. They are not open but a few early hours in Saturday and not at all on Sunday. Since that's when I'm home, that's when I discover things that need work, and then I have to drive all the way to Gainesville to go to Home Depot.

They have always been my "go to" place to buy lumber and "special order" products. Placed an order on Monday and it was here this morning. Try that with Lowe's or Home Depot. In fact, try that with Goins. Ain't happening. Shame Sherman doesn't have one like years ago

The employees are nice and always helpful. And if they don't have what I need they will find it and order it. I had always rather shop at home. BrIan knows the store like the back of his hand .

There in side sales people, very unpleasant and unprofessional. Would not recommend ever coming to this place . You will walk out upset. Recommend goto another lumber yard.

Great place to go staff are super helpful and will price match home depot they honor veterans with a discount and deliver I use these guys alot as they are helpful and will recommend a variety of products not just push the most expensive for a small town feel this is the place to go very trustworthy team here.

Friendly. Easy to find what you need. Loaded sheetrock straight on trailer. Much easier than Lowe's or home depot!

Went to lowes home improvement. Got frustrated and left stopped at Foxworth in and out less than 15 minutes 35 items and was cheaper than lowes

Limited selection, a little more on price than the larger stores in Sherman and Gainesville. With this said, I will always pick them over Lowes and Home Depot... if they have what I want.
