I 100% recommend Darquea Home Improvements/AD Custom Backyards. They are super friendly, responsive, and professional. I went through a loan process which added some tasks up front and they stuck with me through my endless questions. They worked quickly to check on the area, provide a quote, finalize the details, and then schedule and start work. They made it as painless as possible. And that is only the beginning. They are crazy quick and great at what they do. It completely transformed our backyard/patio area. We went from a boring empty horseshoe area to a beautifully covered outdoor space. It is amazing. Their pictures speak for themselves. That is the level of work they provide and I even felt like they over delivered. I was worried our space was too weird, but they made it work. We are beyond happy.

Our outdoor living space looks absolutely amazing! I’m so happy with the quality of the final product! Alex and his entire team did an outstanding job!From start to finish, Team Darquea explained the process, was responsive to my questions, and was patient with me as I made changes to my original scope of work. There was nothing Darquea could not do, including installation of ceiling fans, porch lights, recessed lighting and all the accompanying electrical wiring and outlets, and roofing! Other companies explained to me that tying the new covers into my existing roofline would be especially tricky. Darquea made it appear seamless and crushed it! My brand new concrete flooring, huge strikingly beautiful cedar patio covers, and extended stone outdoor kitchen look stunning! Another excellent experience using Darquea Home Improvements. They communicate well and do excellent and quality work at a good value. This is our second time to use them for a patio cover and we were very pleased again! Also, they went out of their way to help our family by cleaning up our patio/yard and all of their supplies for a family celebration that was happening at our home during the middle of our project -- even though it wasn't convenient based on where they were in the project at the time. Will definitely use them again if we ever have other similar projects.

We had very high expectations about how our dream deck would turn out when we decided to have it built. Somehow Darquea managed to surpass those expectations. They were extremely professional and friendly to work with. You can tell they get a lot of business, however, at no point did I ever feel they were rushing through the project or felt like ours was less important than other, undoubtedly, bigger projects they have.I delt most directly with Ric and I was constantly asking questions. He always responded quickly and never seemed bothered by my questions, even when I asked during non business hours.We originally contacted Darquea because a friend recommend them. My only regret was waisting time getting other quotes. If you're looking for an honest company that will be competitively priced and obsessed with detail, don't look any further. This is the company for you. They went above and beyond for us. We had to be a small project, relatively speaking. If they'll work that hard for us, you know they will do it for all their customers.

We contracted with Alex and his team to do two patio covers on our home. I work for the 4th largest school district in the DFW area. Part of my job is construction inspection and acceptance. I hold a state construction inspectors license in good standing. Alex was the 4th contractor we negotiated with and we awarded him the contract. Best decision we’ve made since we bought this house! They hit their projected start date, delivered materials as promised, started the day they said they would and exceeded our expectations.Instead of waxing poetic about how friendly the crew was, that the owners son was on site daily, how clean they left our place daily and how promptly they responded to all our communication (which is all true), I’m gonna post about the hiccups with our build.1st of all anyone who’s been in construction or contracted for substantial construction work know every job has issues. We had two minor issues. The day they started several holes were cut into our roof so the covers could be tied to structure. No big deal, this was expected. Oh wait, North Texas weather. 4:30 PM and a line of storms pops up. I ask the guys about this as my roof has 10 holes cut in it. No problem they say, roofer is on the way. Poor guy showed up at 5:30 and was on my roof till after dark. Not a single drop of water got into our home and there’s no way that was scheduled. That’s the result of contracting with someone who cares.Issue 2. In order to do the electrical the way I wanted it done they needed to remove some face brick. No big deal, every recently built home has extra brick in the garage right? Wrong! Our brick guys measured 3 times and cut once, there isn’t a brick 1 left here. So Friday comes and Alex wants this job done. The guys stay here till 8:30, scrounge up brick my wife will accept and do everything they can to get it right. Swing and a miss! Problem is we have signed off and given them the check. Wait, no problem, next Friday a mason comes out, corrects the issue and you can’t tell which bricks were removed.Short story long, price was right, service was right, communication was right, this family cares about their name and reputation and will do what it takes to protect all. That’s integrity!Give them you’re business, give them your trust, don’t worry about giving them your money!
