I recently had to file 2 claims with my home owners insurance (fire and water). I was very overwhelmed with the state of my home. Paul Davis took over and simplified everything for me. Their communication was great and they restored my home even more beautiful than it was before. Thank you Paul Davis!

Great company full of compassionate men! My mother just lost her husband of 50 years and her house unfortunately flooded. The gentlemen have been so understanding and helpful through this process. The communication is outstanding, I receive updates daily. I would recommend this company over and over again.

I could not be happier with the work that has been done in my home! They are very detail-oriented and I have been able to contact supervisors and workers easily. They return my phone calls and many times it's been after hours. Jake has been very professional, high integrity, and very accommodating to questions we have. The workers were very respectful of my home and my time. They communicated effectively through cell and text messages when they would be arriving or leaving. I highly recommend this company.

In early February, Northern Utah had experienced below freezing temperatures. One of my pipes froze and busted in my basement. Causing a tremendous amount of damage. Almost 6 inches of water covered the entire basement. So I had reached out to my insurance and they had recommended Paul Davis restoration. At first I thought the communication between Paul Davis and I was a positive one, they assessed my house. They got started as soon as I paid a deposit they quoted me a time frame of 4 months that it would take to finish the job. They said around the end of May early June is when they could be completed with the job. Once May had approached, I realized that they would not be completed by May. When I talked to Riley Sparks (My site manager) he quoted me end of June early July as you may have guessed things got backed up even more as Riley Sparks slowly fell off the face of the Earth in communication and they were not completed with the job until mid August. I have spent almost 7 months. Out of my house when he finally sent the text that the job was complete. I went over, and got the city to turn the water back on. The city had reached out to me to expressed concern that when they turned the water on at my residence, it was coming out at 50 gallons a minute which is abnormal for a home. They immediately turn the water back off when I had visited my home, the basement was flooded yet again. Paul Davis never fixed the pipe that had caused the problem to begin with when I reached out to Riley he told me that he assumed the pipe had been fixed and that it was my responsibility because I did not call the plumber. Looking back over my estimate from my insurance it shows, plain as day, that they had paid Paul Davis to fix the pipe/hose bib. And now, as I’m writing this review, I think to myself what did Paul Davis actually do? The whole point of them was to fix the pipe and restore my Home back to its Original state. Paul Davis is being paid for a job they did not complete. While I’m stuck like a teenager in my mother basement.Services: Flood restoration, Remodeling, Flood cleanup, Water removal, Water damage-related cleanup & repair

Paul Davis Restoration of Utah is a Great company. Please allow me to share why I feel this way. Prior to my recent experience with them I had no exposure to this company. I did see their marked vehicles while driving through my community, but really didn't know what types of services they provided.Well my wife and I were within four hours of leaving on a out of state trip when we discovered we had an issue with a broken plumbing pipe in our home. We cancelled our trip, contacted our homeowners insurance company who gave us a list of preferred providers, which Paul Davis was one of them. We chose to go with Paul Davis and let me just say, that was the best decision and choice we could have ever made. From the moment that we received a call back from a member of the Paul Davis Team we were nothing short of amazed at the level of their responsiveness and customer service. Each and every member of their team treated us with the upmost respect, they kept us informed as to what they were doing, why they were doing it and what the outcome would be. We literally sat back and watched them work very hard at getting our house fixed and put back together. And the finished product has left us in a state of awe. Thanks Paul Davis Restoration. We highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a job done correctly,

Jake Bybee was awesome! He really helped us out with a super fast inspection on an old water damage spot on our garage ceiling. We're in the process of buying a house and this was a time sensitive issue. He really came through for us and was courteous and accommodating. Keep it up, Jake!

Hello,Happy New Year Paul Davis and everyone on the restoration team.My redwood gate and door entry was destroyed; and you restored it. Paul, you and your team did a great job.Thank you very much. The gate and door repairmen are amazing. They said they would rebuild me a secure gate and door; and they did it. I feel the job was very professional done. And yes, I feel secure. The Project Manager, Secretary and laborers are all very polite and respectful to seniors. They all helped me understand the procedures of our business contract with patience and understanding. Thank you for that. And what a great clean up job. From,Jane Qualizza, like Quality Pizza, Qualizza

This company is not even a one star. Over a year with a roof collapse and still not completed. The only reason I was able to move home is pretty much mostly because my husband and I did alot of the work. Still have no electricity to my garage door and a front light which they knew about in October and it is now March. Would never recommend. Kept the money from the insurance company but never followed through with anything. The people they hired to frame or brick or anything was seriously horrible. Had to go back and fix everything.

Back in January of 2020 my home burned down and I lost my best friend. Farmers insurance helped me select Paul Davis Restoration as a preferred builder and they immediately secured my home. Following our first meeting I was assigned Jed as the contractor and Rusty as the foreman. The team inventoried my home and cleaned out all the remaining debris and all that remained was a sparse shell and the foundation. The house was a total loss. Jed got his team going and started work even before they received their first check. They kept me involved with every phase of the rebuild. I never had to fight about anything and they were very reasonable with respect to my wishes and upgrades to the home. I was given fair prices and a team that was more than capable of executing. They finished a total and complete rebuild of my home and the work was so good that I now have Jed and Paul Davis working on my second home. They are now my go to contactor for all jobs because they maintained integrity from the begining to completion with a quality to match. If you choose Paul Davis, ask for Jed as your contractor and Rusty. I added some before and after photos. You can see how sever the damage was and how impressive the final rebuild looked.

Horrible, our condo was one of eight that caught on fire in Centerville. They were supposed to contact me before they started taking things out of my unit, so I could see what I could salvage. They didn't. They decided just to put everything in the dumpster. That has me pretty mad already, but these crooks decided it was going to cost me 17,000.00 to do it. They lied to me now they're stealing from me. Go with a local company that's not a franchise because local people will be fair with you.

If you have to have your water softener blow a gasket and spew water in the utility room that then seeps through the walls into the finished basement--on a holiday weekend, no less--at least you can call Paul Davis to fix it. This is our second time working with PD and the team, including Kendra, Cody, Aaron, Isaiah, Freddy, and Brady has been extremely helpful, professional, and communicative. We appreciate their help in all parts of the cleanup and restoration and more specifically their help in navigating insurance claim.

I am grateful that my neighbor recommended Paul Davis Restoration of Utah when I had a flood in my home. I had a very hard schedule with which we had to work and Nick was ALWAYS accommodating and kind. The original company that I hired to remove the mold caused some minor damage and discarded vital pieces of hardware from the ceiling. Nick was able to make all repairs and restore my home.

Paul Davis is the best restoration business I've ever come across. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and capable of restoring my basement to a beautiful new place. If I could give them 10 stars I definitely would! Thank you for all your help!

Paul Davis has wasted about a month and a half of our time due to poor communication, lack of follow-up and broken timelines on the restoration process after we had a flood from a bathtub. I was clear and honest with the work I needed done and the work I wanted to complete myself from the start and now it just isn't worth their time. If they had an issue with this from the beginning, I would have managed the project myself.Service: Flood cleanup

Morgan Griggs, my Paul Davis project manager, was a delight to work with. He was most courteous and professional and very responsive to my phone calls and texts. Morgan assembled a wonderful team of sub-contractors who, under his supervision, did excellent, professional work. Brianna Cortes in the Kaysville office sent me flash updates on a regular basis and was always available to walk me through the finances. This is the second time I've worked with Paul Davis, and they are amazing. I've already referred Paul Davis to a friend!Services: Mold inspection, Flooring, Water damage-related cleanup & repair, Painting, Water damage-related mold removal

It is never pleasant when you come home to a disaster. it was a great blessing to have the exceptional team that truly saved us from total frustration. Brady who was the Foreman , Jake and his team was amazing in mold and mitigation cleanup, Pedro who is a master at sheet rock, mudding, and painting,Nick who built a cabinet to match our old 1968 cabinet to perfection and his great detail in the finish work, Buckway flooring did a great job on a new floor and Tina who coordinated it all. This was fantastic service. They have the BEST CUSTOMER CARE EVER!!!! They were so kind and helpful. We can’t say enough about how great they were to work with us. Thank you to an amazingly awesome team of people. They are heads above everyone when it comes to quality care and workmanship. Thank you again!!!

Thank you for being so prompt, responsive, respectful and gentle with my house! Aaron was waiting at my house, at the meeting time to walk me through & help locate the multiple areas that water from our kitchen sink pipe had flooded. Sione, Jesse & Cody were there to set up, cut out, dry out the mess….this is the dry~out wonder team, and next comes the restoration put back together team, which I’m sure will be great. My expectations were nothing because I’d never gone through this before. House 12 yes old kitchen sink pipe valves failed, water all over because, my luck, the duct work for our home runs just under the pipes & became the river network for the gushing water draining through the floor.I WAS SURPRISED at how respectful they were with trying to clean up. Then how they all set up the multiple fans, dehumidifiers, floor mat fans,( it was noisy but we all got used to it) and these sipper curtain areas, just grateful they’re keeping our mess contained. Many thanks! 😊

We had a flood from a broken waterline affect both upstairs and downstairs. The mitigation pieces were prompt and professional. The cleanup crew was very communicative and had amazing follow through but that’s the hook! Once we got to reconstruction it was a nightmare. This happened in May and we worked with our insurance to part ways in July and refunds weren’t cut until November. No communication, minimal work and what does get done has zero quality. Edit: You're right, it was a requirement that myself or my wife be present during the repairs since I highly doubt your employees would like to deal with a Great Dane. My kitchen cabinets sat waiting to be repaired for 5 weeks before your project manager called to check on them only to find out they got stuck in a corner and hadn't been touched. Your workers have been out at this point more times to undo work they previously did and do it the right way which is partially on me as I should check the "professionals" work before they leave. Been waiting on an electrician for the basement for the last 6 weeks, for full disclosure was supposed to happen today October 27 2023 but I had to cancel due to being out of town, not sure on the other 5 weeks. In the last 3 trips your employees have made they have hooked the sink up in the kitchen, then hired a plumber to hook the sink up in the kitchen and yet they still get to come deal with the sink in the kitchen as water especially out of the food disposal isn't known to flow up hill. They also hooked up the dishwasher supply line which they get to redo(see attached picture). When I text the project manager about it asking if that was just a temporary fix his response was "he had to run it that way because doing it the other way would require taking the back of the cabinets off.". They did mange to get the kick boards in the kitchen and handles done on the cabinets. So in 3 trips they got 2 things done to completion and failed at 2 others. The water mitigation portion went fine. Everything else since has been a joke. They come out do a quarter of what they say they're going to do. Cut corners on the things they do get done so they can come out again and redo the same work.Services: Flood restoration, Flood cleanup, Water removal

I will never ever in my life call these guys to do any work on anything we’re still waiting months for a completed job - nothing but sloppy work and sloppy workmanship. I’m not happy about anything they have done!!!4 months of waiting for broken wood and flooring and countertops that don’t even level out. Complete mistake going with this company! Thousands of dollars for trash!!!! They walked in my carpets with dirty shoes huge stains in my stairs don’t cleanup after themselves, pulled in my garage had a huge screw in my tire. It’s just complete BS at this point. Not happy at all.Services: Remodeling, Water damage-related mold removal

My insurance recommended I use this company for home mitigation/repair from water damage. Their mitigation work was okay.. They dropped the ball on taking out certain parts of drywall where damage was, blamed it on my tenants, and then I asked "well thats where the damage was... why WOULDN'T you take that out anyway?" but they did agree and replaced that drywall anyway... Their workmanship on the repairs was fairly shotty, they had to re-do , re-touch a lot of things, if I didn't explain my dissatification with it... they would have left it like that. Their project manager Don was great with me, responded to all my questions and concerns... Although, I did have to reach out a LOT to see where they were at in the process and when they'd be here to get some work done. The Whole process took a LOT longer than ever anticipated... I was told about 10 days and maybe 3-4 days after that initial 10 day period (for insurance) it ended up being 56 days before the work was done. The reason I'm giving this a 2-star instead of 1 was that they were in reality very friendly, The mitigation boys were awesome to deal with. The project manager (at the start at least) Made me feel confident with them and again he addressed my concerns. If I was asked to recommend them, I can't say in good honesty that I would recommend using Paul Davis Restoration.Services: Remodeling, Mold inspection, Water removal, Water damage-related cleanup & repair, Mold remediation, Mold cleaning

>After hours call - $272.>Mandatory asbestos test before any work could be done - $352.>Fans in the small room for 48 hours with area taped off in plastic - $258.Containment plastic failed and fell off the wall every time they put it up. Fans were just blowing plastic tubing around the room like a blow up puppet in front of a business. We turned them off after the first 24 hours but just having them in the house for 48 hours was very expensive. We had minor water damage but worried that it could be a larger problem. They led us to believe that we had visible mold inside the walls and we would need to take an entire wall down to discover how far the damage went. Our insurance adjuster came over right before the Paul Davis team arrived to demo and he could not find mold anywhere and everywhere he tested our walls were dry. He spoke with the Paul Davis team and they then agreed that there was no mold and that the area was in fact dry. We were able to leave the wall intact but sadly learned a very expensive lesson. We tried to dispute the charges for the fans and they told us the overall bill was originally $1,800. but they had already lowered the price for us. I cannot imagine what the bill would have been if the adjuster hadn't gotten here before they started to tear down the wall.We trusted them to tell us if there was mold in the wall and they either lied or the mold mysteriously vanished overnight. They either prayed on our fear to expand the project scope and bill or they just don't actually know how to identify mold.Service: Mold inspection

My project was a difficult one that required trying a few different approaches before finding what worked. I was so impressed by the tenacity of Kendra. She was completely dedicated to making sure the job was done and that it was done right. I appreciated that she took the time to research multiple solutions to make sure that what we had the right fix in place.

Working with Paul Davis has been a breeze. We had a flood the day we were leaving town. They immediately had someone over assessing the damage and getting us set with a lock box. They worked on drying everything out and removing the damaged to the walls and floor while we were gone. Everyone has been friendly. The service has been quick. I appreciate that they call beforehand and explain what each visit will be for. We’ve finished the mitigation phase and are currently starting restoration.Service: Flood cleanup
