We consulted other plumbers, but one didn't respond and the other said we'd likely have to replace our entire water heater (residential) and told us to figure out what the warranty was on a tank brand he didn't recognize. We knew what the problem was and didn't think the entire tank needed to be replaced.... 🤔 Zoom Drain came, checked our warranty for us (which wasn't an easy process), tracked down the right part, and was able to come fix our water heater very soon after the part arrived - instead of replacing everything. Hooray! We saved $700 compared to the plumber who said we needed to replace the whole thing and a lot of headache. Zoom Drain is easy to communicate with and takes good care of its customers.

Quick service, great work, however they were going to call with a quote and did not. Did the work and charged $300 to clear one drain. Called them three times to discuss the charge, no one returned my calls.

I called Knighton Plumbing after a giant gush of water broke through our ceiling downstairs below the laundry room. A technician arrived the next day and investigated the leak. He was very professional and thorough and clearly explained what he found and answered all my questions. He suspected that the drain pipe was plugged further down the pipe and was backing up into the floor drain and then spilling over into the ceiling below, so we scheduled a jetting of the pipe. The Zoom Drain technician who arrived the next day was also very professional and thorough when he came.Unfortunately, that evening after he left, the drain overflowed again and dumped water all over the kitchen below. I was frustrated and felt like perhaps he hadn't gone quite far enough when he was jetting, so when I called Zoom back later, I expressed my frustration that we would need to pay for another jetting when they hadn't done an adequate job the first time. The person I spoke with at the office responded very professionally and said they stand by their work and answered my questions and listened to my concerns. The next day the owner arrived at my home along with two technicians and they spent a couple hours further evaluating my plumbing. It turned out to be a much more complicated situation than originally thought, but by the time they left I was confident that the pipe was totally clean and we had resolved the actual cause of the leak.I was very impressed with my entire experience with Knighton Plumbing and Zoom Drain. They were up front and honest about pricing, responded promptly, treated my home and family with respect, professionally and competently completed the job, and followed through until I was satisfied without extra charges. Their prices were competitive and honest - no gimmicks or upselling. I had them come out to “fix” two drains we have outside our basement. They only addressed one of them and charged $500. They said they’d have to charge another $500 to address the other drain. Three days later it rained and the drains didn’t work and our basement flooded. When I called to try and resolve the issue with them the office manager said “it’s not our fault”. They refused to come back and address the problem. Needless to say I was irate!

I had a drain problem that was much more than just putting a roto down. The crust had completely closed the drain and it required intensive cutting away at the minerals to get it to work. I am not one to ever write a review. We had such a bad experience I felt like I should share so others know what they may be getting themselves into. We had a leak in our utility room that we could not figure out where it’s coming from. They came two days after we called, which was fine. He told me my water heater, heater, and water softener were all working normally but that I needed a pressure regulator on my water heater and that would fix the problem. He never even checked the pressure on the water heater. He diagnosed the wrong problem and talked us into buying $1100 of work that none of it was warranted. The next day we had another flood in our basement. It then took them 2 more days into coming back. He then came back and went back on what he said the previous time and now said our water heater was broken and began to explain why we should buy one of his water heaters cause they are better even though ours was less than a year old. I told him the water from the floods wasn’t even by the water heater but he disagreed with me and told me I just wasn’t seeing the water on the floor correctly and that it was drying on that part of the floor quicker. I come to find out it was my water heater humidifier that was malfunctioning. Zoom drain never did figure the problem out. We had to call in a different service. I have had a good experience with one of their other plumbers a few years ago but the one we dealt with this time was not reliable and rather than tell us he couldn’t figure out the problem he took a shot and guessed and charged us $1100. I called before they opened and got back to me immediately. They showed up right around the time they said. Turns out it was the owner that came out and did the service. They went through every step, giving me every possible solution and happy to take the little steps before going to the biggest. They even ran back to their shop to get a better and brand new nozzle to ensure they got every root out possible. Great company and seem to love what they do. We were having multiple problems with our toilets and when the situation became dire, we were so relieved when they were able to send someone right away—within just a few hours of our call. We decided to replace our toilets rather than repair them (they were so old), and they were able to do that right then. I couldn’t believe how fast everything was done from call to completed project. I didn’t bother calling around so I can’t speak to their rates, but they seemed fair, and it was so nice to just have everything taken care of so quickly and professionally. We were without working plumbing for 2 days just before Christmas and had been put off by another company for both days. Zoom Drain was recommended by folks I trust and they were the best!! The guys showed up on time, explained our options and tried to do the best they could with what the homeowner would pay for (we are renters). The cheapest fix didn't work and I ended up having to contact them the next day which was Christmas. The owner JaNae surprisingly got right back to me ON CHRISTMAS!!! She sent her wonderful hard working guys back out first thing the next morning. Again, they were on time and compassionate to our cause. Then they spent almost 2 hours making sure the drain was as clear as it could be to give us a better chance going forward as the drain pipe has 2 bellies and needs to actually be fixed instead of placing an expensive bandaid on it like the landlord insisted they do. The level of customer service with this company is worth every dollar! They will be my first call for all my plumbing needs and my recommendation to family and friends! Josh and Jake were professional, clean and even moved my washer back and hooked it up so I could start on the laundry that had backed up. Absolutely 5 stars!

The 2 technicians that came to my home were very respectful of me and my home. They had masks on, and put shoe coverings on as they entered my home. They were thorough and quick to resolve the issue. One of the technicians offered a solution to keeping the drains clean of bacterial build up, which was appreciated as we live in an older home and still have some metal pipes.I will call this company again the next time we have a plumbing issue.
