Greg came and got my furnace running and said it would need a gas valve soon. While he was there he cleaned and serviced it too. He was very friendly and knew what he was doing. Then a few days later Shawn came out and installed the new gas valve and my furnace is up and running! He also did an excellent job and was super great to work with! Everyone from my first phone call till the furnace was fixed was wonderful to work with and they really hustled to make sure we would have heat for the holidays!I will always call Gary Ricks now!

I had bought a nest thermostat for my parents for Christmas and had set it up according to what I saw online and had setup my own at home without a problem. My Dad called me at 1 in the morning to say it was just pulling in air from the a/c unit. I drove back to Hyrum from West Valley but couldn’t get it fixed and went to bed after about an 1 ½ of messing with it. Shawn came earlier than expected and got it fixed in no time. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We highly recommend Gary Ricks and asking for Shawn by name. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Seriously ask for Shawn! We had a great experience getting a new furnace and AC unit installed by this company. They were easy to work with from start to finish. They were responsive to our call unlike some other companies we had contacted first. They scheduled us quickly and when there were weather delays they got back to us as soon as it was safe for their workers. We had great interactions with all the staff from the worker that came in to do our initial consult, to Gary and the new guys he was training. The technicians who did the install Mike and Ralph were great. They were professional, communicative, knowledgeable and personable, and I quite enjoyed their awesome oldies playlist when I happened to catch a listen! Excellent service, excellent crew, excellent experience!These guys are awesome. I had a very old and very bad, bad swamp cooler that caused some major damage in my home. I called Gary Ricks first because of the radio jingle and the great reviews I read. Gary showed up, assessed the job, gave me a list of everything I needed and scheduled a date. The crew showed up bright and early as scheduled. This was the first repair completed since the "incident" with bad, bad swamp cooler. (Still waiting on the inside repairs to be done.)The crew of Teryl Egbert, Jason Sorenson, Stan Freeman and Carl Lee were exceptional. The job took longer than they planned and they stayed until everything was done and perfect. They were professional and friendly. I happen to own the biggest cooler they make and watching them get that beast on my roof was an experience! I highly recommend this team if you have any HVAC needs. Thanks guys! I'll see y'all when my heater goes ;)

Okay, so long story short, we bought an old church that no one had lived in for a decade. It wasn't long before we realized that the gym of our new home was FREEZING--literally (we left our water storage in there and it was ice). We contacted Gary Ricks and he came out personally (along with Mike), gave us a bid, and installed a 200,000 BTU hanging furnace.I can't express how many odd hiccups occur when working in an old building, but Gary and Mike were undeterred. Not only that but even when we encountered problems (like a scissor-lift breaking through a ramp that I built) Gary was always kind and positive (other companies I've worked with often seem annoyed by problems they encounter). Gary met every challenge head on and ultimately we now have a heated gym...and he did it quickly.I originally decided to go with Gary Ricks when I read the reviews. It is nice to know that there is someone who we can call who is ready and willing to come out to Lewiston, has a great attitude, and cares about their customers. There is no doubt that will be using them in the future as we encounter more "happy surprises" with our church-home. Thanks Gary!Service: Heating system installation
