We contracted with Jon to design and build a garage for us based on a referral and an initial bid that was quite reasonable for Mad River Valley. He did a great job, helping us balance our budget with the design details. Jon had high standards, and the result was quality work. For example the foam insulation that initially went in was not up to standard. He made sure all was ripped out and replaced with compliant foam. His site workers were pleasant and industrious. The garage came out beautifully, on time and within budget. We definitely recommend Jon and would use him again.

Jon Guiffre and Allied Building Contractors did an amazing job on a recent farmhouse renovation for my family. He was always professional, courteous, innovative, quick-thinking and went above and beyond on a project that was quirky and unpredictable at times. Together with Jon we set an aggressive timing goal and I am so happy to report that Jon met the goal and we were able to celebrate New Year's Eve in our farmhouse. The end result (so far!) truly exceeded my expectations. We will continue to work with Allied Building Contractors on the next phases of our renovation.Jon made us feel like we were in good hands from afar. He even left housewarming treats for our dogs!

Extremely bad experience. They started late, took 5 weeks longer than quoted, errors were made during the project and it was over-budget. Do not do business with this company!
