We arranged with Nick to have a very old gas boiler and water heater replaced, and at the same time got other plumbing needs taken care of--a new sump pump and outside water faucet. Communication was great, all employees were courteous and professional, and the equipment installed seems fine, although we’re waiting for the heat to be needed, which should happen soon. The work area was left tidy.

My hot water heater went out early on a Sunday morning. JM Plumbing and Heating quickly came to my rescue. By sending photos of my old tank and communicating via text, we agreed to what I needed as a replacement. Early, Monday morning, I received the estimate and at 2:00, JM Plumbing and Heating was at my door with a new gas hot water heater!They replaced the old tank and removed it. They cleaned up well and no mess was left behind. I received specific instructions on how to turn everything on and off, if I were to have an emergency again.I will definitely use them again. Our tankless hot water heater had had no maintenance at all in the 15 years we've had it. I contacted the original installers who asked pertinent questions about the system and whether there were any problems as part of the scheduling process. They then got a man over to our house the next day. Both the scheduler (Nick) and the tech who came to our house (Dimitri) were very pleasant to work with. Dimitri in particular was familiar with our particular tankless system since he has one himself and was able to offer first hand experience with the set up. He was admirably honest about what was needed and what we could possibly wait on, as well as what the manufacturer recommends. It turned out that bees had gotten into the fan that vents the system outside which was causing a noise and some blocking of the venting. Dimitri was able to clean out the fan from inside the house but no major scaling or flushing work was required. While there, he fixed a toilet that had a leaking flapper. I thought the charge was maybe a bit high but it was much less than less than they had originally quoted since the larger job was not ultimately needed. Communicated via email about an boiler heater issue first thing in the morning. Once they had all the information on the problem, communication ceased. Called the office to schedule an appointment. No returned call. Seems they "hand pick" there jobs. Very disappointing

We had a great experience with Nick and his team on the repair and maintenance of our furnace and radiators. I called multiple companies that told me they couldn’t come out for a month+ and Nick came by the next day to take a look at our furnace and they started the work the following day. Our furnace is 26+ years old and it required some new parts and a lot of maintenance. The team was extremely detail oriented and never rushed the job. They ended up encountering some additional issues and worked on the problem until it was complete. They were all extremely professional and nice, and they communicated with us every step of the way. We got a lot of quotes for installing a new tankless water heater. JM plumbing was knowledgeable and explained everything to us that made it easy to understand the plan. JM has remarkably good reviews and this is no accident. Working with them has been one of the most positive service-vendor-related experiences I've had as a homeowner. I submitted a query via their online form and within hours was asked if I could provide photos of the issue areas. The next afternoon a rep from JM was at my home assessing the situation. There was an extremely reasonable estimate in my Inbox by the following afternoon and two days later, JM was at my house getting the work done. They took out an old water heater, put in the new one and fixed a cracked sewage pipe in a little over 2 hours. They were polite, communicative and seemed more than willing to explain what are probably simple plumbing concepts to this non-plumber. They left the work areas cleaner than they were when they arrived. And they were happy to respect my COVID-related requests for masks. Finding a service vendor you can trust is gold. JM plumbing replaced a water heater for me in august. They were responsive, prompt, and affordable. They cleaned up after themselves, and left the place neater than they found it. Good thing too, because my furnace in the same house started leaking, (well flooding, really), on Friday night, right before the first big snowstorm we’ve had in a couple of years. I called, and left a message for Nick, and he got back to me quickly with a game plan for replacing the old one. While my tenants went without heat over the weekend, by Tuesday morning, the guys were at the house with a new furnace. Installation was great and heat was restored. Given that it was a weekend and the weather was terrible, I was thrilled that it was handled as quickly as it was.I am glad that the initial job they did was so well done, because I don’t know who I would have called otherwise about the furnace. I contracted with JM to install a new boiler in our home. I solicited nine bids, and though their estimate was not the lowest, I felt confident in my decision. From my first contact with JM to the conclusion of the installation they knocked the ball out of the park. They left no doubt in my mind that I was a valued customer, and never once tried to dumb me down (other’s did). Their follow-up after contracting was smart and encouraging. By the time their installation team arrived I knew that I would be delighted with every aspect of their work. Also, I’m no stranger to tools and was pleased to see how well they handled theirs. Our hot water heater died in the middle of the night and we were not excited about waiting multiple days for service. We called Nick with JM Plumbing and they happened to be working on a job up the street from us so on a break they sent a couple guys over and got the hot water heater replaced and fixed up and running within a couple hours. They were great to work with, honest, did great work and cleaned up after themselves. We highly recommend them.
